My laptop went “missing” after I had to be moved to the Carstenhof Life Healthcare ICU. I was forced to give it to the nurse since they only allow basic needs in ICU.
Hospital doesn’t want to pay for my laptop because I didn’t “declare” it when being admitted and “I have not proof that someone saw the laptop”.
- I arrived in the hospital casualty at around 11:00 because I couldn’t breathe well. Only had my phone with me.
- Told I’m being admitted at around 20:30.
- Admitted in Ward 2 where I waited for Covid results. Nurse came and made me sign papers (NB: I’m still in pain). 3.Asked my sister to bring bag with necessities incl laptop. She had to give security because no one is allowed to come visit die to Covid.
- Bag brought to me. No one told me to declare anything (NB: second time I’m admitted since I only stayed home for a day and didn’t declare anything the first time).
Conclusion: I sent millions of emails and proof of pictures but hospital didn’t care. I think it’s time I said everything, just so it never happens anyone ever again
