In what was probably the most anticipated regular season NFL game of all time, the Bucs beat the Patriots 19-17. The New England Patriots got eviscerated by the Saints this weekend and the Tuck Rule Boys are here to talk about it. They have a guest who was actually AT the game as well who gives some insight on what the atmosphere was before and during the game. The Patriots put a beatdown on their Division rival Jets in a 25-6 trouncing. With the defense picking off Zach Wilson FOUR TIMES, the Tuck Tule Boys was poetically about how that side of the ball did. The guys go over the entire game and touch on everything from Mac Jones to Damien Harris to one of the guys strange hatred of Braxton Berrios. They also pick who their MVP was for the game. Oh, and Sully once again has to defend Josh McDaniels as well. The episode wraps up with a look ahead to when the Saints come marching into Foxboro for a Week 3 matchup that has the guys on opposite ends of who they think will pull it out. The Tuck Rule Boys are back and there’s one major topic that needed to be addressed: Cam Newton being cut. They’re joined by a few guests and as I’m sure you can imagine, the conversations goes off the rails at times and even gets a bit heated (hint: Sully and one of the guests). Not only do they guys talk about how this move will impact the Patriots, they also touch on what’s next for Cam. While Newton’s news dominated the sports world, there’s also a certain corner who needed to be addressed. Stephen Gilmore got placed on the PUP list meaning he’s OUT for at least 6 weeks. The Tuck Rulers are back in action after a resounding 35-0 beat down of the Philadelphia Eagles. The Patriots dominated in almost every facet of the game as they remain unbeaten this preseason. Fresh off the presses the day we record, Sony Michel is traded to the Los Angeles Rams in exchange for two conditional draft picks in the fifth and sixth round. As predicted last episode, Michel had become the clear odd man out with Rhamondre Stevenson blowing up in two games for just under 200 rushing yards and four touchdowns. With an expiring contract to boot, Sony-Digital was done in Foxboro. Sully had a few words for Patriots media and fans towards this trade and Michel as a back for the Patriots that has been evident all day. Tune in and follow us as we charge ahead into the season. Rookie half-back Rhamondre Stevenson shined in his debut with 127 rushing yards and a pair of touchdowns leading the guys to do some speculating about this loaded Patriots backfield come the regular season. Not a lot has been said about former Defensive Player of the Year and All-Pro cornerback Stephon Gilmore recently. The star hasn't participated in team activities this season and appears to be on holdout until a new contact is reached with the team making him fittingly paid as one of the highest at his position. With a handful of days left until the season starts, is a deal imminent or are we going to see a defense without it's best player of the last few years? The show was recorded just before the Patriots face off against the Eagles in week 2 of the preseason, so the guys give their note on things to look for in a game where the starters should get considerable time.
