Here's a five-minute video showcasing what the standard room of The Berkeley Hotel Pratunam looks like. I could compare it to previous hotels we stayed at for the past five-year club trips, and I can say this is the biggest of all.

Our room was on the 21st floor. Our room, my parents', and my sister in law's were of the same level and just next to each other, so we have the same type of rooms.

We stayed here for three nights and four days. They got a free buffet breakfast included in the accommodation and lots of amenities included, like the pool, which is a huge one and is very nice. The hotel is also just next to a night market in Pratunam and is just walking distance to the CentralWorld and other shopping centers.

Going back to the room, a keycard is needed to access it. It activates the power too, and the first to welcome is the bathroom at the right side. It is spacious, with two sinks; there's not bathtub however, but this is already satisfactory. There are hot and cold showers and soap plus shampoo available. Dental kits are refilled everyday, they also replace the towels and the floor towels, which is really good.

The opposite side of the bath is the storage where bathrobes with the Berkeley Hotel stitched in them were also placed, and they provide slippers too, and a safety lock. We placed our luggage here and other stuff. Glass water bottles were also provided together with instant coffee.

Next to it is a long sideboard that has more storage areas, drawers, a mini fridge, a TV, and a workstation with numerous outlets available. Chair was comfy and they provided a menu for their room service, which we tried on our first night here.

We were given two single beds, we hoped it was a queen-sized bed but we can't anymore change as we were tired on our first day so we just decided to let Matti use the other bed but the problem was that he fell on our third day, poor little one, he was okay though.

We only have a little view of the surroundings, I love the curtain and they even have a separate round table with two chairs near the window.

We loved the spaciousness of this room. We had no issues during our entire stay; everything was clean every day. We also enjoyed their billiards and the pool, of course! We just swim on our last day and enjoyed it to ourselves as there were no other guests around!

In continuation to our trip to Bangkok Thailand, I am sharing with you this video of our buffet breakfast at The Berkeley Hotel Pratunam. The trip happened last October 2024, we stayed in Bangkok for four days and three nights. Our first day was a pack and we weren't able to join the buffet but did on our second day instead.

The Berkeley Dining Room is located at the 10th floor of the North Tower. Our room was at the 18th so it was just easy for us to get to the restaurant. This is also the place where we could get to the first tower as there's a connecting lane. There are staff assigned to check the room number and the number of guests as we enter the buffet area. The staff here are really polite and friendly. They love kids too! The buffet area is huge and there are loads of chairs and tables placed around the vicinity. It can accommodate 300 heads. There were also sides where you'll get a view of the city around. I love the spots where we could see the view but they were all taken during our first buffet experience.

My niece was already getting food as I was entering. I noticed them already so I immediately joined. The buffet breakfast here starts at six in the morning and ends at 10 AM. Our timing was just right at seven.

The buffet was good, there were so many options from soups, to pastries, salads, fish, chicken dishes, and more! There were Chinese cuisine, and even Indian food options. I definitely enjoyed this as the previous year when we went to Hong Kong and there was no breakfast buffet included on the hotel accommodation. I am glad that this time, they have chosen a hotel that has that specially that we need to be full coming out of the hotel as there will be so many walking to do!

That day, we went to several places and had to stay late as we went on a river cruise!

As promised, allow me to share with you this 4k video of our own neighborhood. We are surrounded by rice paddies which changes colors three times a year. This month, rice farmers are busy prepping the paddies and now, their seedlings were ready for planting. And as they start planting, the fields turn from gray to green, tiny bits of plants are now showing as we watch them from above.

It's just amazing how we couldn't appreciate the great view from below but as we flew our drone and see the wonders of how amazing the patterns, not so perfectly aligned yet there's beauty in that. The birds who are the usual audience to this surely had enjoyed every inch of minute they fly over these newly planted fields especially on its first few days.

Just a few days or weeks from the time of flying, they will surely show another angle of its wonders as the plants starts growing and growing. I am in awe of how wonderful nature showed a picture of the grace of the Creator, the ultimate designer and author of this beauty!

Glad to be living in the province, the beauty that city life didn't get to offer to us while we were in the concrete jungle. Now, we walk and in just a few steps, we could see trees and be one with nature and even appreciate the things that our local farmers are doing. If you'll ask me if I miss the city, of course, there are times when I miss the city, what it can offer - the many options when it comes to food, the beauty as well that city life had, we experienced those things but there's just something about living in the province that is giving me a reason not to live in the city anymore.

I am content to be in the big city twice a year but for now, I am glad and happy to be in this little province, living the opportunity that work from home had given me.

Our first experience of Bangkok's floating market was at Bam Nam Phueng. According to the tour guide, this isn't a famous one nor a place where most tourist go, this is just part of our tour because they wanted us to see a glimpse of how a floating market looks like. Later on in our stay in Bangkok, we would eventually see and experience how floating markets look like and personally would ride on their machine powered boats!

We hadn't had lunch but as a mother, it is essential for me to bring snacks while on a tour. It is something that I somehow go overboard too as I would bring more than we needed but my mindset is always "better to have extras not be hungry!"

So when we arrived at the floating market, we turned on our insta360 so we could capture the whole area without thinking of where to point the camera. Thankful for this type of gear, we could film ourselves without a breeze! I was the one holding the stick while my husband carries our four year old who said he didn't want to walk, he specifically said he wanted to stay in the tour bus! Bringing the pram was not a good idea too as the walkways were narrow.

In Bam Nam Phueng, some stores had closed because its already past two in the afternoon. There were still many who were selling foods, fruits, meals, souvenir items. Some were interesting, some I found familiar, but we were heading to where we could eat and I am not adventurous when it comes to food so I just stayed at fried things and familiar looking food. I found fried chicken and ended up to try one still with chicken but with some in it which I don't know what they were. We still finished them though. The pricing here was just affordable. I litterally had to practice my short Thai vocabulary because only a few of them can comprehend English. We survived!

But as we were heading back, it rained. We waited for the rain to stop and then as we were walking back to the bus, we found some of our companions staying at this coffee corner. Intrigued, so we headed towards them and ordered our coconut coffee! It was fun seeing the lady owner made the coffee. From brewing to opening the young coconut, she did it all. And the coffee was amazing! I haven't tried this kind of coffee. She used no added sugar, it was all coming from the coconut water! Amazing! It's just a wonder why the coconuts in Bangkok are sweetest! We have coconuts back in my hometown in the Philippines too but its a hit and miss but so far in Bangkok as I already had a few coconuts earlier that day, they were all sweet!

Anyway, after that coffee, we were at the bus and traveled back to our hotel. It was a long day and we wanted to rest right away! Next video would be a tour of our room! Stay tuned!

Bangkok's Erawan Museum is known for its having an iconic three headed elephant on top of the building. It is also colored pink and is interesting. But compared to the previous one we first visited, this is only a small structure with not much to do rather than site seeing. There's also a garden around and more elephants!

Our visit here was quick, the inside is airconditioned, we have to leave our footwears outside while we tour inside the museum. It has interesting staircase which every visitor should take because the beauty for me was in the small details of the museum. There were carved structures on the pillars and walls and even the ceiling is amazing!

If you have kids, it is better to go around quick and be done as it easily becomes crowded specially that this is part of all group tours. Watch the video and see this tourist attraction virtually!

Hey everyon! I couldn't quite recall the last time I uploaded a video here but allow me to share our Bangkok Thailand videos starting with this first tourist attraction we went to - Ancient City. This is a huge place that one day won't be enough.

The issue with a group tour is that you are constrained by the limited time allowance the tour company gave us. Perhaps that was because we ere behind of schedule but the propblem is that we could only get off the bus at this Ancient City's main attraction.

I used the insta360 camera and I think it was a bad idea to study the camera on the spot so as a result, I got overexposed that was hard to restore them.

Anyway, I highly recommend that if you are coming here, make sure to take advantage of the golf cart, you will need to pay for it but it is already good for 4 adults, you can divide the rental fees among each other.

Today, I became worried looking at so many videos on my hard drive from years ago waiting to be edited. It saddens me that I have a lot of things to edit and post but the only problem is not having enough time to get them done!

Anyway, because I thought getting into them one step at a time would lessen the huge task, I decided to edit this set of clips from our 2021 beach outing with the family. This was a beach called Flower Beach in Anda, Bohol, Philippines. There's a beach shore and the kids love it there as the shoreline is longer and wider and they can play.

I thought of adding a background music too but decided to leave it as is like an ASMR video showcasing the sound of life in this area.

This of course was taken more than 3 years ago and it makes me happy to see these memories of my niece and nephews enjoying the beach.

Matti was still less than a year old at that time and you'll see us in the video too. Matti was still very cheeky and bubbly. I see my niece and nephew who are now away from us, they live in South Cotabato now. Time flies so fast indeed that my niece is now a sophomore at school while ZM, that little boy who was throwing sand to my niece is now a grade one pupil.

I hope we could get to go back to Flower Beach and we hope that one days, we will also get to come together as a family again.

This resort in Alburquerque, Bohol is meant to those who want to be relaxed and just be close to nature. With the location being surrounded by trees, you'll feel nothing but calmness. When the wind blows and the cool breeze can be felt in our skin, we can certainly say that we are blessed to be able to spare some time to be away from the busy life. It is just right to stay away from the things that keeps us occupied once in a while and with family around us, we can be assured that life is indeed good! The good father above looks down unto us and that He wills for us to enjoy this sacred life He had let us borrow.

Indeed, when we are at the tailend of our lives, the material things won't matter but only the experiences and the moments we had shared with our loved ones are the only things that matter. Memories will be the only things we will be left of.

I am happy as well because the past few months, I am flying the drone myself. I realized, it is not that hard, even the set up process. I had always rely on my husband on everything but slowly, I am trying on my own.

The drone used here was a DJI Mini 2.

Scrolling through my folders today to delete old files to clear some memory space, I bumped into this folder named Bakespace. Oh, goodness, I have not edited the videos so I immediately imported the video files into DaVinci Resolve and made my way to compile one which is an 8-minute video.
I realized, we didn't take photos of the experience so I grabbed some stills so I can create this blog but you can watch the video as well.
My Cebuano friends recommended that we bring Matti here because it's a delightful experience. I couldn't go until last December when we visited Cebu for my husband's company Christmas party. Also, coming here requires an appointment first and our preferred date was full so we had to get the evening one instead which was at 7 PM, this was their last session of the day.
There are different packages, we availed the solo which was worth Php 699 (at that time), this includes 1 adult and 1 child for 3 bento cakes. Today, upon checking, it looks like they have increased their pricing.

Coming in, we were greeted by the number of ovens and mixers. We arrived a few minutes before the scheduled time as recommended so there were still guests from the previous time session who were wrapping up and taking photos of their cakes. I was excited to see them happy and they sure looked like enjoyed the baking session. I can see Matti was also happy and excited although he was already a little sleepy.
We were handed aprons and were advised to wash hands before we start. The tables were cleaned and our materials were placed. We were around 30 minutes late as the previous batch took a lot of time but it's fine, we were just excited and didn't mind.
It's cute that they provide phone stands for the bakers so we could document this experience with our phones. It was a small thing but helped a lot because everyone wanted to get photos and videos of them baking. Matti and I had to take a video the phone while my husband was also taking videos on his camera.

The session finally started, there were supposed to be 8 groups in that batch, but one didn't arrive. And so we started by introducing the ingredients. As you can see on the photo above, Matti's delightful face knowing that we were going to start baking!
The first step was cracking the egg! We only have one egg for our bento cakes, the others had two and for the cookies, the egg is not needed.

We were provided with everything necessary to bake, the mixing bowls, spatula etc. One by one, we put the ingredients in the bowl and Matti was super interactive at this point. He was the most energetic and he would also talk to the head baker whenever asked. You can surely see that he was very invested in this.
And now we were asked to go to the mixer and mix our mixture. I understand that baking or cooking in general is therapeutic, this is the reason why most cooking or baking videos are a hit on several streaming platforms. I also understand why the rate is this high because we were given a chance to use mixers and ovens which are not cheap equipment.

There is only a specific number of times that the mixture is being mixed with the machine, we were even asked to count with the instructor and stop at once when we reached 30. Then we had to prepare the molders.
Matti brushed some oil into the molder to avoid the mixture sticking to the bottom but for some reason, he included the back side. We laughed at him for doing so.
Then he placed the parchment papers into the molders and I did the honor of pouring the mixtures. Since we were baking 3 bento cakes, we had three molders.

It was also necessary to eliminate the bubbles so we had to tap on the table a couple of times and then we had to bring the molder with the mixture to the oven for baking!

Matti was enjoying this process as you can see by the look of his face! I am now thinking of bringing him to South Farms too soon for their pizza-making activity as well. I believe he will enjoy that too!
While waiting for the cake, we proceed with making the buttercream! At this point, assistants were coming to help us further while the main instructor had gone somewhere.
The buttercream is just simply the butter and cream mixture. We were given just enough amount of these for our cakes. All the ingredients provided here were already premeasured so what we did was really putting them altogether. It was still fun though.

And the cakes were ready! A lady staff helped us cut the top part of the bento cakes, this was ready to be designed! So, we were thinking of what design should we make, we tried looking at the toppers available and the sprinkles but we ended up with a simple design instead of the "We Bare Bears"

For me, this was the most exciting part because everyone could decorate their cakes to whatever design they liked and it was just fun to mix colors and design the cakes.
Since we were doing Three Bear Brothers Grizzly, Panda, and Ice Bear, we mixed brown, red, and black food coloring into the buttercream mixture.
It was at this time that I realized this isn't easy. It was challenging to manage the buttercream to fully cover the bento cake. I salute the bakers out there who are good at this. I understand it takes a lot of time to master the art. But I tried my very best to get our three bento cakes a clean surface.
And now the piping part, this was hard but fun! Matti was already bored because I was not letting him help me anymore as I didn't want him to ruin the buttercream cover. So he was just roaming around. Many other kids had joined that time but Matti was the youngest.

It was time for some pictorial! I am so happy that the staff were also very accommodating to take our photos. Thankful for this experience. It took more or less 2 hours from start to finish and it was few minutes before 10 that we finally finished everything and went home.

Our bento cakes were boxed and after we went home happy with smiles on our faces. We then had a problem finishing the three bentos as they were too many for the three of us. We eventually decided to give to our friends and some neighbors!

This is highly recommended, even adults can try it because I see the adults who were with us at that time enjoyed it too and I can personally say it is worth it!

We decided to book a room and then camping tents with breakfast for the rest. They got karaoke too at Php 150 per hour but they limit the singing until 11 PM only.

I am super glad they accommodated us with all our requests, camp fire, breakfast, additional dinner food orders and more.

My favorite parts of staying there were the camp fire at night where we appreciate the beauty of the evening stars and the morning sunrise, that's why we flew the drone and get a good bird's eyeview of the resort. Truly, nature lovers will appreciate it.

There's still a lot of things to improve for this resort, it took us a lot of effort hiking up to the top of the hill but it was all worth it.

It's been awhile, 3speak. I am glad to share with you an almost year old event. The videos were taken last year during our prayer retreat with the young people in our church. Part of the two day event was a "mini" amazing race which I organized. There were only five stops for this game:

Romans - each team has to do the "oreo face roll" from their forehead down to their mouths.

Ephesians - the members must go in pair, one holding the spoon with the fork while on one foot hopping towards the basket, his/her partner must catch the egg if it falls off the spoon.

Galatians - the team will get a famous verse and have to arrange each word to complete the entire verse.

Colossians - answer 6 questions correctly from the Bible quiz list.

Revelation - at the pool, each team must shoot the pingpong ball to the next member's cup placed on his/her head.

The amazing race started with of course, a quick yell for each team. They were given only a few minutes so they got inspo for their yells from previous youth camps and other church events. Nonetheless, it was fun to hear their cheers!

I guess the team had a hard time with the first stop which was the oreo face roll, they took a lot of time there and the sun was too high already. After the retreat, all of us had some sort of sunburn.

The last stop was the Revelation and the red team had a huge chance of winning as they were the first ones to finish the other challenges. They indeed end up winning the mini amazing race!

After this, the young people enjoyed the rest of their morning at the pool.

Paid play areas are a thing in the city, with many toy options, every parent would give in when their child would show a pity face asking them for some playtime. But this usually happens only when we are in Cebu. So back in May of this year, my little one remembered there was a play area near his father's office. So when we mentioned that we were visiting his papa at their office, he told me, "Mama, remember there's a play area near papa's office?" and he smiled when I nodded. He had a plan in mind.
Tinyhome Builders is just above Mcdonald's in JY Mall. It's quite new and only a few come here to play so I told Matti he can play while I work. The fee here is Php 150 for an hour of play, it increases if you want to have an open-time play. They sell socks separately and there's a Php 50 for adults if they want to attend to their kids. For toddlers two years old and below, adults are required.
What I like about it are the toys are still new, the place is clean and very peaceful, they have nice music plus the view from outside can be seen from the slide area.
The slide has a lot of balloons in the ball pit that kids would fall into after sliding which makes it safer.
I say there are so many options to play with but Matti's favorite is the tools area. He knows the names of the tools and he loves playing and pretending to be a construction worker.

Our first time visiting Landthai Resort located in the mountain area of our local town. It was intended for our youth fellowship. It's also the first time for the young people to go out of the church and enjoy nature with us as in charge of the said ministry. I am grateful to God and our head pastor for allowing this activity and we sure learned so much about prayer and how it can help the youth in their walk with God. Our goal is for them to fall deeper in love with Jesus.
Our event started in the afternoon upon arrival. I contacted the owner of the said resort for the overnight stay in tents. Thankfully, my cousin had a lot of tents that we were able to borrow. So as we arrived, our afternoon session was held with our head pastor giving a message to the youth.
After that session, we pitched our tents and then rested. We brought snacks with us so while some were eating, others enjoyed the cold water of the spring water pool. It's really nice to have a pool on a mountain with nature surrounding it.
In the evening, we had dinner and then proceeded to a camp fire. It was an intimate activity and we sang a lot of worship songs, we had some of the young people sharing their experiences and challenges in life as a Christian. I believe that this made them develop a more close relationship with everyone and that it definitely can build this accountability with each other. Aside from that, it helped me learn more about themselves as well.
We watched the moon and the stars while the fire was still burning. It was time to sleep by 11 PM as we had a morning activity set up which included an early personal devotional time. I personally love that part where I watched the sunrise while reading God's word.
Our breakfast was served at six in the morning so we ate and then we had a short exhortation with my husband sharing how to pray like ACTS which means Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving, and Supplication.
Then we had a mini amazing race, we grouped them into two and they did an impromptu yell. It was fun seeing them having fun as they played the games in each station. The last part was getting wet at the pool. It was super fun!
Finally, it was time to go home, we had lunch first and then waited for our church vehicle. I am praying that whatever they learned at our first out-of-church fellowship for 2023, they'd be able to apply it to their own prayer life.

One summer day this year, we explored a dam nearby the land property we bought last year. This dam has been a talk at that time because of the specific business being put up in the area and how it has the possibility of becoming a tourist destination because of the peacefulness it brings to the table and so we decided to check it as we have never been there.

This place is called Masayag Dam. There's a fishpond being built here and so you'll notice there are ropes here and there to help the bamboo rafts. According to the president of the group of farmers in the area, they allow the breeding and farming of Tilapia because the dam provides the facility to get this business done and it would be helpful for the farmers as well as another source of income. However, they didn't expect that the start of Tilapia farming here had also opened to another opportunity which is tourism.

While we were at the dam, we noticed how peaceful it was, there were mountains behind it and the sky is also giving a contrasting reflection of the water body. A few weeks ago, there were others who took photos of themselves on a kayak paddling here and it brought a lot of noise on the internet, a lot of people started coming here and would want their photos while kayaking as well.

However, this place is not yet allowed to hold tourism activity because first, there's no approval from the local government, and second, those people who were kayaking were not in their best gear, they were not wearing any life jackets and so there are no protective measures for the safety of the visitors or guests. Thus, the said activity was stopped and there was an advisory that it is not allowed to kayak or do any tourism activity over there.

But I see a great opportunity, perhaps the group of farmers who are managing the dam is already working on making this a place for guests and visitors to relax and do some water activity. I hope so because such an activity is not yet available in our town, it would be nice to have a place where people can dine while watching the beauty of the waters.

About the video, my son was the main subject of it as we explored the dam. There were beautiful flowers blooming all over the place which made the place raw yet pretty. Just a few developments, this would be a good place to chill and relax.

I believe I shared here how I missed my friend's wedding but when he told me he and his wife will have their honeymoon in Bohol, I offered to tour them around. Thankfully, he accepted my apologies and we met in Panglao, in Alona specifically for the tour.

Our first location was in Moadto Strip, this is just in Panglao but a few minutes away from the main Alona as it is the end of the island. There's a resort nearby too named Modala. My husband was testing out his camera with a wide lens for this video.

What made me happy was seeing Matti still very little and unable to speak well but still understandable. He had long hair back then and I just realized how messy he looks. I have cut his hair since he was two years old. Matti was still one year old at this time.

Our next location was La Casa de Beatrice which is my favorite! I like how they designed it, it's like mini Italy! Love the arc with plants climbing on it and the pool too. When I said we will stay here, I meant it but we didn't get to stay right away, we went there for an overnight stay for our wedding anniversary instead of last February.

We had snacks here, we tried their ensaymada artisans and some of their organic drinks and coffee.

Our final location was at Guitar Woodhouse still in Panglao, in fact, all of these locations were just in Panglao. The woodhouse was also a place that my little one found on YouTube and he couldn't stop watching I was glad we visited. He was really overwhelmed by the massive guitar.

We had snacks again here but we didn't order much, we were just there for the view and ambiance. We just had juice and some nuts. Today, there's already an entrance fee for those who want to just take photos nad not really dine in.

My husband had somehow pursuade me that he must get a new watch, his reason was that their company encourages them to exercise and they are given the option to either get their company "free watch" which was Garmin or buy another brand with a sponsorship of Php 10,000 worth. My husband found Huawei's GT Runner and purchased it online for Php 8000+, the company was able to save an approximate of Php 2000.

Anyway, it came in just a few days after ordering it and he set up the camera so he could do an unboxing video. Unboxing an online purchase is necessary because it documents the entire process and if there's any problem of the item, we have a proof. I also think this is a good content because the video quality is quite nice.

The watch for me looks big but I guess it was designed for caucasians, at first look, I didn't like it. My husband thought the same but said he will have a try and see if he will get used to it. Our Ate Zia turns three today! She's my brother-in-law's daughter who is just a week older than Matti.

When I think about it, I find it amazing, her mother didn't know she was pregnant but there were signs however, she was about to get married at that time so she thought the signs she was experiencing were just due to the butterflies in her stomach as she was getting married.

Now, my husband and I were not actually expecting to be pregnant at the same time but a few days after the wedding of my brother-in-law, we traveled to South Korea and it was there that I had signs of nausea and all streetfood smelled really bad!

While in Korea, we were told about the news that my sister-in-law is pregnant. And so after our trip, I took a pregnancy test as well, and there, it was confirmed that we were also pregnant!

And so, we consider Zia and Matti as siblings, we had the same OB too, and gave birth in the same hospital. But I was just a week behind. It still amazes me!

Three years had passed and Zia is now turning three. Matti will turn three as well the next week and I am always happy to take photos of this little girl who wished to be a little mermaid! She had her tail and top and was really happy to pose for the pictorial. It was in fact really quick as we know the tail is quite heavy when wet.

Unlike Matti, Zia is always cooperative during shoots like this. The first time I took photos of her was her pre-birthday. We also celebrated it with her in Oslob in 2021. On her second birthday, we were not able to go as well as today but the in-laws are coming for Matti's birthday next week so we are excited for that.

Going back to the shoot, actually, this was taken in May when we had our trip to Hale Manna. We all know that we won't be able to go home to Oslob comes July so we decided to just take photos of her in advance, it's just a two months difference and it won't really look obvious that the pictorial happened earlier.

On Tuesday, I requested we go out somewhere I could fly the drone. My husband suggested we check out this area where he passed by when he was cycling one time. He said this place has a long straight road and a huge range of rice fields on both sides. I agreed right away when I heard ricefields and a long road.

After a few minutes of driving, we reached Tugas, Candijay. This is just a neighboring town but I have never been to this area. I am really glad he brought me here! Although it was almost sundown, I still flew the drone, it was a good spot for practice because the space is huge and I can easily spot the drone.

Without any hesitation, we set up the drone and started flying. The view was really great, the locals here are just preparing the rice paddies. They got their machines and carabaos to help them till the soil. It's been raining the past few nights and it is indeed best to plant soon. THere are so many lots of rice paddies here and it's amazing, I have never seen this before. I am so glad my husband brought me here!

This place is also very quiet and peaceful, we could spot a few motorcycles passing by but most of the time, the road was left to itself. We could also here the birds and other insects and animals as we sat at the roadside. It's relaxing to hear the stream as well just next to where we were seated.

We stayed here even after a golden hour, we walked a bit and enjoyed the view. Then we saw that rain was coming! The thick clouds behind us were somehow telling us that it was time to go. We even saw lightning every five minutes! It's really amazing to see it and I am glad Matti was curious about it, we talked about how this is made and that thunder follows after.

Going out was not just for recreational but also for educational purposes after all! Grateful for that opportunity!

Giving you a glimpse of Hale Manna from above! Here's a drone footage compilation from our stay in Hale Manna, Moalboal, Cebu last May. It's summer and so it was pretty expected that there will be many people at Moalboal's Basdacu beach. So we didn't plan on going there but I forced my husband to fly the drone and see what's going on at Basdacu and I wanted to see the cliff area of the sea in Basdacu going straight to where Hale Manna is located.

Moalboal is known for its sardines run and turtles. The town has this locally called "kantilado" part of the sea. It means that there's a sudden steep or sharp precipitous rock.

And so when the drone flew, the first objective was to get a view of Basdacu, and boy, there were so many people, it was the afternoon, almost sundown and there were people at the shoreline. As you can see in the video, this area of the shoreline has more sand compared to the rest and thus making it a famous place to enjoy the sunset.

A lot of people would also stay overnight here with their tents. And the blue-green sea waters from a distance are very inviting, especially for free divers, Moalboal is a place where free divers would also flock because of this and I am quite sure marine life is pretty under too.

As the drone was going back to Hale Manna, a surprise scene came up - someone riding his motorcycle on the shoreline! Boy, this was a risk for the driver or owner of the motorcycle because the seawater will make his motorbike rusty for sure but I guess he didn't mind that as he was riding his bike from Basdacu up to the other end past Hale Manna.

With a drone, seeing the view from above makes a lot of difference when visiting a certain place. Drone footages will give another persepective, making the place more interesting. Just like this fishpond which we visited over the weekend. We intentionally brought a drone because we had visited this fishpond before and we went there without even documenting this nice place.

For me, it has been a peaceful spot, a little secluded from the road thus giving us no other noise but the sound of the chickens, the birds, and the water flowing. The water that's in the fishpond is coming from a spring and thus making their Tilapia surprisingly without this muddy smell. I like how they set up around four to five ponds, they separated their red and black tilapias too.

I had always wanted to come back here because my husband loves fishing and they said the Tilapias here are clever that whenever someone tries to catch, they won't eat the bait.

Thankfully, we came a little earlier so they didn't feed the Tilapias yet. When they were already very hungry, they started eating the bait and thus we got a few big Tilapias. Most of our catch were small ones but they are still good when deep fried.

My husband surely enjoyed the activity and said he will come back again in the near future and was even encouraged to also make his own fishpond!

We went fishing on Sunday afternoon, this happened right after the afternoon church service at Cabugan, part of the countryside. The weather was nice and clear so we thought it was a perfect time to go out fishing in the fishpond which we had visited a few months ago.

So, let me share with you how that afternoon went, you can also watch the video to see the action of the said afternoon getaway!

We arrived at the Escala fishpond around four in the afternoon, again, with a good weather, we walked into the area and started looking for some makeshift fishing rods. The hooks were already old and rusty but we still gave it a try. We didn't bring any bait so the son's owner who is also our church friend went to look for snails or worms around the fishpond. Thankfully, it was easy to find and so my husband started throwing the hook into the water.

While the others were having fun fishing, some of the young people decided to ride the bamboo raft. We rode this one before and it is still fun to go rafting along the calm water of the fishpond. We could see some red Tilapias just swimming around too.

What we caught were small ones, they were pitiful to see being caught but we have to put them into our pail because they will still die if we put them back into the water.

My husband had so much fun fishing! He didn't want to go home but I had to insist because the fish has to be cooked as we will be having it for dinner.

Here's our faces before having dinner at the Escala residences. We were welcomed by our dear church friends and they even served us with the Tilapia fish we caught, they were deep fried and good!

At our friend's house, the Tilapia which we caught were cleaned up and cooked. I was surprised because the small ones were tastier than the big ones, I liked it crispy and the small ones were crunchier than the big ones. We had fun with our fellowship and we played the card game UNO as well after dinner!

It's a blessing and great priviledge to be given the opportunity to shoot my high school friend's prenup video and photo. This high school friend has been the nicest, most bubbly person I knew in high school, she's very nice that I couldn't remember any instance back in the days when she got angry or what.

I believe she's the only person who never had any issues with anybody else back in our four years of being classmates. She's so nice, very generous. Her name is Reina, we were very close back then, she even calls me mommy because she felt like I am a mom to her.

Anyway, before she got Jay, she had a relationship with someone whom she thought she would be spending a lifetime with. We had already planned the dates of their supposed wedding but they also had a plan of going outside of the country first so they could save up. However, unfortunate things happen and that plan didn't realize, they eventually split up and we learned the guy had another woman and they have a child.

Fast forward after a few years, pandemic happened and I learned she got pregnant. And then I met Jay, they had their love story back when Reina was still in the computer gaming business. She has sets of gaming computers and Jay was one of those who would come to play. They fell in love with each other and there's baby Caleb.

Two years after Reina had baby Caleb, Jay asked for her hand. I am happy that she is finally getting married. And it is indeed a great pleasure to shoot this prenup video for her.

It was very simple, we didn't have to travel far, we just took these shots in the area where she live. The couple already knows what they wanted - it's for the video to show how their love story went. From being enemies on the online game to going for motorcycle rides and drinking at the beach.

The places where we took the videos were just along their neighborhood as they belong to the same area. I am glad they liked the video, we didn't use any gimbal though for these shots.

I didn't expect that this humble town of ours would offer such great landscape scenery. I was in awe as the drone footages were being replayed again and again. I am so blessed to have seen the view from above through the help of technology. Indeed, without the invention of these drones, I won't be able to see this awesome scenes!

The drone devices have been a great addition to film making, the creation of affordable drone units is such a blessing to content creators as we can now enjoy flying the drones without breaking the bank!

Cabantian Hills have been changed over the years. While back when I was still in high school, I have heard about this area but never realized the beauty it has been keeping by itself for years. Lately, a lot of local content creators are sharing videos of this area, featuring its beautiful hills and ocean view. I know I have to also make my own entry. And so these scenes were taken a few months back but have never been edited for some reasons. I have been very busy but lately, I am trying my best to clear out older video files and because of that, I was able to find gems on my hard drive. I have to post them so I can delete them already from my drive.

I am trying to delete videos from my hard drive to clear up some space when I found these sequences of drone shots from last year's Oslob trip. I decided to compile them and why not publish it here?

Oslob is well known for the gentle giants who had somehow felt at home in Oslob's seawaters, this tourist attraction has started becoming busy again this year after the pandemic.

One of the places that tourists would go for a side visit while in Oslob is Cuartel, a historical landmark. But aside from that, there's also a protected marine area in here which is called Cuartel Beach and it has become an attraction not just for the visitors and tourists but the locals as well. Most of the locals would visit this area in the afternoon when the sun is about to set for some fish watching. There are a lot of fishes around here, it being a protected area.

The LGU of Oslob also had set up a huge screen this year and every weekends, they play videos for film showing and people would flock over here. There are also vendors allowed to sell food just adjacent to their local Roman Catholic church.

So seeing the view from above is refreshing. I hope you enjoyed the view!

I thought of a crazy idea as I was having my coffee in the morning of May 7, we were in Hale Manna to celebrate my brother in law's birthday. The kids were still sleeping and I was bored so the idea in my mind was something new and I thought I should not let this opportunity go.

So, I grabbed my phone and hoped that this won't be too shaky. I actually forgot to turn on the stabilization but after editing this, I thought it was all fine, the only problem was that I felt dizzy watching the video, I hope you won't feel dizzy watching this too.

Anyway, the tour started at the entrance of the resort. I went out of the gate for this, it's a very peaceful place as it's far from downtown Moalboal, I was greeted by a puto maya vendor who was on his motorcycle. He offered me his puto maya, I wished to buy one but I need to stay focused with my phone and not stop the video. I just smiled at him and declined the offer. I walked inside the resort, stopping by the things interesting, like signages, quotes, flowers, and etc. I first visited the lobby of course, the inside was a bit dark, I wished they have added more lights in there, it's kind of scary though because the furniture here look antique and old. Anyway, there are many lounges here, their inhouse restaurant is also located just adjacent to the lobby. Before checking out later that day, we also bought some ice cream at the lobby.

After that, I headed to the beach, I passed by the pathway with the garden and there were quotes pinned on the trees. There's a sign of the resort's name and so I stopped by there for a quick feature.

As I reached the beach, I featured the nice and calm sea waters. There were fishermen already fishing and a huge ship at the distance too. Negros Island was visible at this point, there were less clouds and so the island was quite clear. There were already guests at the beach, they were like a group of family and were enjoying the serenity of the area. I then proceed to check the other nooks across the cliffs. The resort has no beach shoreline anymore, as per the caretakers, they had a shoreline pre-Odette but then it got washed out and now, there are no more sand in here. Some might be discouraged of how rocky this beach is.

After that, there's the inspiration point, I also noticed the camp fire area which looked cool, this would have been a perfect spot for that night if it didn't rain. Anyway, they got a pool too and I also checked that out. A play area is also available but it's already old and a bit of dangerous as there are cracks on the slides. I did try to let Matti play there but after I noticed the crack, we stopped him from playing.

At the end of this walking tour, I reached our room and I found my little one still sleeping tight. He woke up at 8:30 AM that day.

It's funny that I have totally forgotten that I have a screen recording of when I was making a photobook for Matti's 2nd birthday which was last July 2022.

This photobook had already been delivered to me a few months ago but I still had the recording on my desktop. I decided to finally edit it and publish so I can delete the original file from my disk. It took me awhile to actually finish this photobook layout, I thought that I should just have tried their auto layout option. By the way, I am using Photobook Philippines' online web app to create this photobook. I had used their software before but it's been awhile that I had been using this web option.

I still have a lot of my photobooks in Cebu. I hope they are still fine over there and are not yet rotting.

Grasyang Way Sukod is a Bisaya phrase which means Endless Grace, this was composed by Team Tehilah and it is a really nice song. I like the rhythm and the lyrics. I like that the song is not too high to reach for non-singers like me.

Tehilah is another form of praise which means singing your praise, to sing out loud especially singing hymns of spirit or praise. It's also putting your praise in words which is elaborated in Psalm 22. Those praise as well which are beyond the lyrics, like improvising and spontaneous singing is part of the Tehilah gesture.

These words by the way, Hallel, Yadah, Towdah, Shabach, Barak, and Tehillah are Hebrew words which are different forms or gestures of praise. I am glad to learn about them and apply them in my own praise to God.

Zamar is another form or gesture of praise whcih means to play instrments, it is a joyful expression and it is backed up by Psalms 21:13. I am happy to know that playing the instruments is not just a skill that can help us express our love but it is also a gift that God has bestowed to everyone who is into it that which can be used for His glory.

I wished though that I had learned to play any musical instrument growing up but nonetheless, I am giving my little one the resources so that he can develop that skill and in return be used for God's work. I am seeing my little one being interested with guitar, piano, and the drums so I hope he will be able to hone his skills.

Now, as for this song composition, it actually talks about the love of God, gugma is a Bisayan word which means love and the song describes the love of God. I love their bridge though which says,

gusto kong masinati
ang gugma mo

It means the author wants to feel it and experience the love that God has for each one of us.

We all know that Christ was sent to die on the cross of Calvary for the penalty of our sins and so when we look at the cross, we see the greatest display of love - sacrifice! It is on the cross that we see justice and love being displayed.

Fifth performer for JustWorship Camp Bohol's Sing a New Song night was Team Towdah. They composed the song "Una at Huli" talking about God's character being the Alpha and the Omega but also, it explains about the believer's first and last love. It is a song of dedication, that no other God will be lifted by but the name of the Lord.

Towdah is another gesture of praise which means extension of hands, it is a form of adoration, confession, sacrifice of praise, and thanksgiving. The verse that supports this is in Psalm 50. Obviously, when we think of praise and worship, we immediately go to Psalms of David, the man after God's heart. But just like David who fell into sin, we as humans have this tendency as well to be tempted, to fall but the most important thing is to repent and turn away from our sinfulness knowing full well that Christ had already paid the price for it and as a response, we can dedicate our lives to be more like Jesus - sanctification must be evident in every Christian.

I like the melody of this song and I believe the team really did their everything to compose the song. I say, they did a great job! Praise God for their lives!

Team Yadah presented Natagpuan, I guess I will consider this as my favorite song out of the seven presentations because of the composition, the melody, and the lyrics. It's just a joy to see these young men and women sing a new song that tells about the story of how God initiated our salvation, it is not us who found God but it is God who reached out to us according to His love and mercy!

Yadah is another gesture of praise that means throw out the hand. This is the usual and common gesture when praising and I also do this at church. One thing that I learned here during the camp is not to suppress your feelings or emotions while worshipping because God is pleased when we outpour our praises to Him.

Team Yadah's song composition is planned to be released by JustWorship. Last year's worship camp was held in Daet, Bicol and the song that they decided to release was the Nananabik song, you can listen to it here:

That Nananabik song is also a great blessing! It's a song about getting back to worship and how a believer longs and desires to praise God.

Hallel means to boast, it is the base word of the word Hallelujah which means to celebrate, rave, clamorously foolish and it signifies that in our praise and worship, we don't have to suppress our actions, we have to express it because worship is love expressed. Just like when we love our spouse, our partners, we express them through different ways and this goes the same way with how we should also show our love towards God especially when we are singing for the Lord.

This composition is quite unique and I appreciate how the group used English and Tagalog for the lyrics but also had given highlight to their lead guitarist.

I am glad they performed well too! I know they did it for the Lord!

The second team who performed during the Just Worship camp Bohol 2023's Sing a New Song night was team Barak and they entitled their song "Your Love is Sure".

As for the context, Barak means to kneel down, an act of adoration or to salute, it is a form of Blessing God and paying homage. The verses that support this is Psalm 95:6 and 1 Chronicles 29:20.

The vocals here is Shane from our local church, she gave us an impression that this song was a reminder that God's love is constant, never changing, it is always great, always new, and for that, we are sure that we are secured in His great love. This great amazing love that caused His own Son to offer His life for our redemption. I can never truly fathom the depths of this love knowing that the payment for our sins is a perfect, unblemished sacrifice.

Indeed, on the cross, we can see that love and justice met. I am sure that through Christ, God's love had been manifested and just by believing in this truth, in the perfect life of Jesus, His crucifixion, and most importantly, His ressurection, I have been adopted to the family of God, redeemed, cleansed, and given righteousness because of the blood of Jesus Christ.

Just Worship Camp has this song writing plenary and the campers were grouped into seven teams and they were all encouraged to write their original song for God. The song composition allowed them to brainstorm with their groupmates and build relationship within them as well.

During the last night of the camp, the teams had to present their song composition. This one here is the first performer, Team Shabach. The team's name is actually a gesture of praise, a Hebrew term which means to shout, to address in a loud tone, to command, to triumph, showing an act of declaration and the Bible verses that supports this is found in Psalm 1:45 and Isaiah 25.

I see how this team made a great song from this three-day camp.

I hope this will bless your heart as it blessed mine as this talks about being rested with the knowledge that God promises us that He will fill us with His living water.

The third day in Singapore was quite tiring, we had been out since nine in the morning, we went to Fort Canning Park, strolled around, and then we were lost finding Plaza Singapura, we had lunch there and then we headed to Singapore's national museum, I will have to find our photos when we went there because I can't find it right now so I'll just share that after the museum visit, we headed to the bay again, took photos and then went to the sky park observatory.
As the night lights looked great, we met some of our friends too, and my husband's colleagues who request a few clicks of them with the background. It was hard to take a nice shot with our faces clear as it was dark over at the sky park, my husband brought his portable light though, and thought of using it instead to take better shots.

After we were done at the Skypark, we decided to go to the Supertrees! Some said it was too late as it was past eight and in fact when we were on the way there, a lot of the people were on their way back so we thought well, it doesn't matter, the lights were still on so we can still take photos instead. But surprisingly, the light show was still up at 8:45 PM! I was glad we stayed, we even had dinner there, the Mcdonald's has closed already so we ended up at Shake Shack

Just some random moments with my little one. These videos were taken last year and I was compiling them so to upload on social media and of course here on hive as well.

It is indeed true, time flies so fast! They just grow! It's a mystery! But I am glad and happy about technology as we can keep memories of our loved ones in motion picture!

I used Canva and Da Vinci Resolve to get this film up! I hope to be compiling more and more videos soon too! In fact, this project took a few weeks before it was exported to an mp4 file.

Matti got a new playmate today! It's ate AA! AA's real name is Alysson and she's a church mate. Her mom is a manicurist and she cleans my mom's nails today at home. Since Alysson can't be left at home, she brought her and I am glad because Matti and AA got along easily!

Alysson is four years old already, I like that she talks a lot and answers whenever I ask her a question. At first, she was shy although she knows me already as I teach the children's Sunday School at church and she attends every Sunday. So to break the shyness, I asked if she likes toasted bread and she nodded!
I truly believe that kids love it and open up to those people who give something to them and this was the case for Alysson. She then started talking!
So I told her she can play with Matti's toys too! She started with the bike, I also took Matti's push bike or balance bike and they were riding while munching on the bread. Then they started playing with the colored rings. I introduced Matti to Ate AA and now he can't forget her name!
Eventually, they started running around playing hide and seek and then throwing balls, and soon, they were already playing with water! Matti started putting water into his toy sprinkler then my mother asked him to water her plants.
After a while, Matti's cousin Kuya ZM arrived and the fun was doubled! I wasn't able to capture them anymore as I went to the kitchen to cook but I could hear them giggle, shout, run, and just be silly.
Because we usually just stay inside the house, I am happy that Matti was able to play outside the room and stay away from the gadget. He also doesn't ask for the table if he's playing with other kids. It's just hard when we parents work always on digital gadgets, they have this impression that they too need to use the gadget. But I found the antidote to it and its interaction. But I also noticed that kids are different when they are with their parents compared to when they are with other kids.
Ate AA went home with her mom after she finished with the manicure and pedicure, I was supposed to get my nails done too but it was already past five and I was already in the kitchen cooking.

I once was told not to let my little one play in public playrooms or play areas because it might be dirty and there's a great chance of the baby catching diseases or whatever (God forbid)! But I couldn't help it especially when I see that this brings happiness and so much energy to my little one! Just look at the photo above!
Back in October, we went to SM Cebu and as we were about to go home, we passed by the lower ground area of the mall and saw a play area named Chops Children's Park. I know play areas are identical in nature, with toys and everything. We had played at Kidzoona SM Seaside before which was really nice but we never tried one in SM Cebu so my husband and I watching at the time said it was okay to give him an hour to play.
Matti won't usually go to strangers but when the staff asked if he'd come inside while offering her hand, Matti didn't hesitate. He was already wearing socks so I just took off his shoes and he went in running!

Well, what I like about this area is that all its corners are visible to me even if I was just outside the fence. I can see where Matti is going and I can see all the other kids as well. This is very important because there are other play areas where there are blind spots.
This is also clean, the staff would pickup toys and place them in their respective sections when no one is playing those stuff any longer.

Toys are just placed all over the area. They got picnic tables, a kitchen, mini groceries, ride-on cars, slides, a ball pit, and so much more! Matti's favorite as always is the ball pit! But before going to the ball pit, he first explored the things in the ground.
We were blessed that after a few minutes of going inside, the other kids who were called as their time was already up! So Matti was left alone. At this age, he was all good with playing by himself unlike today where he looks after kids and would follow them whatever they do!

So Matti got the toys by himself and he got the chance to ride this excavator. He loves excavators as he watches Leo the truck show on YouTube! He calls this one excavator scoop, that's one of the characters of the show.
But it didn't take long before he got another company! There were new kids in the house! I was just following Matti wherever he wanted to go. I was suggesting that he check out this and this but he usually would not follow what I offer and it was okay.

And then it was time for him to get to the ball pit! I wonder why they didn't put this next to the slide though because that's how other play areas are usually designed so kids can enjoy it after sliding. Anyway, it didn't matter at that time as Matti went inside, and got the colored balls by himself! He was jumping, throwing the balls, even asking me to also jump and lie down into the ball pit!
I was happy seeing him this happy and so that's the reason why even if others would tell me not to let Matti play in these areas, I'd still prefer giving in.

One hour of play is very short, especially for a little one who enjoys playing. He was running around and hopping from one area to another. I guess the only thing that he didn't like was the trampoline! But I know in due time, he'd learn love that as well.
Here are some of the other toys he went to enjoy while I was just following him and taking photos and videos!
Everything must come to an end and this was probably one of the hardest parts of being a parent, when we have to tell our kids it's time to go. But thankfully, Matti isn't the type of child who'd cry rivers when going out of the play area. I have noticed this ever since, he would follow on if I tell him our time is up and we can say goodbye to the toys already. He would usually follow but not without a little bit of "mama, I want to play again!" and you can see that in the photo below:
There's resistance when his father was holding him so we can go. We just lure him into that we will go to a toy store so he can get his toy too and he was okay again! Just as my father-in-law said, life with kids is all about luring them!

I made a vertical video again with these clips. After exporting it, I decided to create another timeline and make a 1920x1080 video instead so I can also share it with you here. The first goal was to just make it as a short one but I decided to make it a little lengthy, I added few more clips, and used a different music instead.

Actually, while I was browsing through the videos, the clips reminded me of a song by Noel Cabangon, a Filipino songwriter and singer. The song was Kanlungan has these lyrics:

I can't translate all of it to English but the gist is that there's a time for everything but the songwriter asks if it is possible to turn back to those times when they were still kids, young, and carefree. He was referring to someone whom he met under a mango tree, the flowers he gave that person, their walks to the seashore while holding hands. I can sense that the song speaks about the writer's childhood love and that the times had changed, they were not anymore in a relationship but are now adults coming back to the town or place where they once had those great memories.

There's definitely a tense of excitement and what-if's, what will he feel if he sees the shore where they had spent those moment walking while holding hands, the mango tree where he had vandalized a heart for the lady.

Urgh! This song really is a jewel for me, it brings back personal memories as well. But just as the song says, there's a time for everything. While those memories are great to reminisce, it is time to face what's the "now" and let go. These are now just memories of the past, it is a great story to share and just recall but not to dwell on.

I am trying out a vertical video with some social media accepting vertical films for monetization. I wonder if Hive would also have its own dapps which can support similar types of media.

The use of mobile devices and videos taken vertically is now "in". So if I am not aware, do let me know if 3speak also has its own vertical video options, on Facebook and Instagram, it is called reels and YouTube have Shorts.

The scenes on these videos were taken at the back of the Municipal Office of our town. We refer it as LikMun or Likod Munsipyo! It's quite funny because when I heard of that name, I thought that we really have this spot named as likmun but it was just a short cut name!

Anyway, most of the locals would often stay here at the end of their day, some would sit on the benches looking at the sea, watching the waves crash the rocks or watch the boats passing by. There are also a lot of locals swimming. This spot has a seawall now but when I was younger, this was an open beach. I don't know when did they build the seawall though but this is a good initiative as the sea levels now is significantly different from before. Also, there used to be a lot of piggeries nearby, now they had closed down which made this area a clean place to swim!

We visited Erve's Oasis again after a long time and I was surprised at how they had increased their prices! We went to have a little date and it was surprising that there were no other people around except us so it was a good opportunity to just talk about anything and everything without thinking if there are people who can hear us.

But first, we let Matti enjoy throwing pebbles to the shore. We also enjoyed Erve's nice landscape design, they have a lot of plants around but it looked like they need some maintenance already!

The huge space with Bermuda grass is an advantage for those guests with kids and of course Matti had a good time running around in the ground. I didn't have worries as having a grass is safe!

We thought of having pizza but realized it would be better to get their burger which they call as Erve's burger, it's their own baked burger buns and also they made the patty from their kitchen and not sourced somewhere. I was just shocked that it costs almost Php 600 now while it was still at around 400 back when we came the last time.

Although it was huge, we were able to finish it, LOL! I guess we were just hungry! We also got Matti fries. Our halo-halo was served first so its icecream was already melting when we were ready to eat it.

Overall, we had a good time especially when it was already dark and their garden lights were turned on. There were still no other customers around though. There are mosquitos in the area and it is understandable as it's near the shore so it would be best to have mosquito repellants always!

In the past two weeks, the farmers in our town were really busy, they went to the paddies as early as five in the morning, that's still dark yet they have to start their day early so not to be burnt by the sun but since the past weeks the weather was rainy, they were greeted instead with the cold wind and sprinkles of rain. Still, they did not back down for time is a very important aspect in planting rice. If they won't plant now, they will harvest late and that means the cycle will not be in its proper timing.

It was only four days ago that the rain stopped and the sun shone in our town, probably, this is the case with the other parts of the country as well. There was rain for almost three weeks but since it was already sunny yesterday, we decided to go out and fly the drone. Planting rice had surely made the paddies green now and it is very interesting how it looks from above. Back when they were still planting rice, we tried taking videos of the farmers planting but we only have a little time to do that which we regret but we can't sacrifice our health, we don't want to stay out in the rain.

Anyway, morning is the best time to take videos of the farmers especially in the planting season as that's the best time that they're out in the fields. True enough, even if it was already thirty minutes past six and the sun was shining very brightly, the farmers were present, checking their seedlings, making scarcrows.

Now the beauty of the fields with the seedlings still young and green can definitely be appreciated more from above seeing the vast land field with them.

The desire to glorify God before this year ends led us to set up a youth fellowship, which we refer to as the year-end youth fellowship with the theme entitled "Reflect and Draw Up".
In this event, our goal was to reflect on the year 2022, the things that had happened, what were the things that we had received from God in a major way. And then the second goal was to prepare for the new year 2023.
It was on December 25, 2022, that my husband James was officially recognized as a youth worker for our local church. And so, one day before the year ends, we made an 11th hour decision to set up this so we can get feedback and expectation setting personally from our youth.
The event started at 9:30 AM. Our assembly was at nine and I am happy that there were young people who came really early. We had made preparations just a day before the event so it was short but it didn't hinder the said activity. My brother and his wife had been an instrument so that we can provide free lunch for the participants.
An icebreaker was done to start up the morning session. We did the two truths and one lie game. It was fun to learn the truths about these young people and I had seen how they had enjoyed the game.
After that, we had an opening prayer and an acoustic worship led by Shane and then we proceed with the exhortation which focused on Psalm 90:14-15. It's a prayer of Moses about satisfaction and his prayer asking God to satisfy him and the people of Israel that this would give them joy and gladness.
After the exhortation, we started the breakout session which was a lengthy one, we ended at past noontime, if the food didn't arrive, we might have not finished that part yet.
During the breakout session, we discussed the guideline questions. One of the questions was what good thing did God allow in your life in 2022? And the second part was what was/were the thing/s that you had done for God. It was a lengthy discussion and it would have been better if there were more than three leaders so the group can be divided into smaller circles but it was all good.
Coincidentally, one of the young people celebrated her 20th birthday and so we sang a song for her and we enjoyed the food together. We had chicken cordon bleu, embutido, vegetable lumpia, there's also banana loaf, and the buko salad. I really appreciated my brother and his wife for preparing all those things and even helping us in bringing them to the church. My mother was also there to help me with Matti. I truly appreciate her effort too!
The afternoon part started at one and we started again with an icebreaker. This time, we had an individual game and there was a prize for it. We played bituka, botika, butiki. It was fun and the winner was Alzy.
Then we did the same thing as the morning part, there was a short acoustic worship, then an exhortation, and then another breakout session. This time, we dealt with our expectations for the coming 2023 in relation to the ministry. We heard a lot of expectations such as for the ministry to increase in numbers and more. My own expectation was to really have spiritual growth, that they'll spend time to have quiet time and the desire to glorify God in their lives.
By the end of the session, we had a response song and a closing prayer. We also had some more games to call it a day.

In October, I traveled to Singapore together with my husband, my son, and my parents. It was a trip sponsored by my husband's company as a retention program for their employees who are still with them for five years and more.
The hotel that the company HR had chosen was Hotel G. This is located at 200 Middle Road, Bugis, Singapore. The HR gave us the options for the room, Good Room with a queen-sized bed, Good Room with a king bed, and Great Room with a king-sized bed and a mini fridge. As the hotel made a note that the good room with a king-sized bed is best for those with one child, we decided to get that.
I usually read reviews online so I have an idea of what to expect from this room. In the review I read, the author was quite satisfied with the room so I was excited to see it in person.
It was past ten in the evening when we arrived at the hotel lobby. I will create a separate review about the hotel's customer service, its amenities, and the rest. For now, let's just talk about the good room. We stayed here for four nights.

Perhaps because we have a toddler, the front desk gave us the access card first. We reached our room easily, my parents' room was also just next to ours so it was easy for us to get in touch with each other as they are seniors.
As soon as I entered the room, I immediately concluded that this has a very tiny space indeed but I'll share with you how they made it really efficient!
On my left is the comfort room with frosted glass doors. I always had a great time having a shower under their Grohe rain shower, warm shower is my favorite especially after a full day of walking outside! The sink is located outside the comfort room which looks odd but it was actually fine after several days of using it. Opposite the comfort room is a hanging steel rack with wooden hangers. A huge full-body mirror is also there which somehow makes the room wider.

I was really amazed that the tap water in Singapore is drinkable! I did try drinking it and it doesn't taste like the water here in the Philippines. Toiletries were provided like a shower cap, dental kit, and vanity kit, and their soap and shampoo are labeled METIS, an Australian luxury brand. I am glad they give soap refills every day!
Under the sink is a storage area where they placed some other face towels. And next to the sink is another mirror, under it was the blower, the slippers provided, and a laundry bag, this one is for sale if one wants to bring it.

Moving on, just behind the shower area is a study table with a comfortable chair. There's a trash bin under it and a flashlight too which charges as it is placed on its base.
On the table is a tissue box, the telephone, and two floating shelves with a water heater, two mugs, two boxed of water, some instant coffee sachets, and tea as well. There are electrical outlets here too and they were already universal so that really was helpful because we didn't bring a universal adaptor! However, they have limited outlets so it was a good idea that we brought our own extension wire.
Although the space is small, it was enough for our two laptops, however, only one can use it at a time. There's a cork board too with all the information about the room as well as those room regulations and directories.

Now comes the bed, as I mentioned, it's a small room but the hotel did a good job of making the most out of the space. This is a king-sized bed and it's definitely comfortable! There's a space between the bed and the window and there's a dream catcher around the hanging light bulb.
Now, under the bed, they have a space intended for the luggage. This looks narrow but I was able to fit two of our luggage. There's also a switch available for the light here and besides, it is a safety box that my little one played with so we were not able to use it as it got locked out on our first night!
There's no view for this room. We can only see the next building so we had it closed most of the time. There are picture frames too on the wall and they were very interesting art!
There's also a 32-inch LG television and it has the name of the guest on the screen with a welcome note! Very thoughtful of them!
We loved the channel which showcases the things around Singapore as it gave us ideas on where to go and what's worth visiting. Well, the country is not big so most of the tourist attractions are really easy to navigate but the channel also shares a lot of history about this place as well as the people living there just like the Indians and Arabs!
One of the things that we enjoy while in this room was the comfortable bed. They provided four pillows which were more than enough for us. My little one had a good sleep every single night and would wake up at around eight or nine in the morning which somehow had been a problem because we always get to tourist spots late but it's okay, that's really how life with a baby goes.
This room costs Php 7,145.13 for double occupancy. Php 6,669.29 for single occupancy.
Their queen bed costs less at Php 6,192.21 for single occupancy while it’s Php 6,679.44 for double. For the great room, it was worth Php 7,623.22 and Php 8,099.25 respectively.
It is definitely expensive for me but since it's paid for by the company, we were really blessed! My parents however had to pay for the four-night stay but they surely love the breakfast buffet that comes with the room. I will talk about that in a separate blog!

I bet there are also other moms out there who have this dilemma - kids still have energy even if it's past 11 in the evening!

My little one is always like this, he sleeps late, the worse thing though is that he won't allow me to sleep as he wants me to play with him. Last night, he wanted me to build a marble-run race track. I don't want to play and told him we must go to sleep but he started crying and all explanations that I was telling him were not helping at all.

So I went next to him and started building the marble run race track. I had to start from scratch because he had already disassembled that of which his father built that day. I went ahead and started making one.

Well, I found it very therapeutic! I was building and my mind was in the focus on what's the next one to put in, should I add another funnel or should I go with a slide?

It was certainly fun and after a few minutes, I told him to try putting in a marble! It worked well and I was satisfied with the work I had done! We played a couple of times but he started pulling out the pieces again! I think kids really are like that, they'll easily get bored and would just destroy those which we had assembled.

I forgot to edit this video taken on 2021, when traveling to different borders was still a pain and tourism in Bohol was almost dead. Only locals are of course allowed to go to different areas but getting out of the house was also discouraged but my family were in Panglao at that time, I can't quite remember why we were in the area but one thing that I have been wanting to do was to visit Mist and I found that an opportunity that I don't want to miss during the pandemic.

Do note that I had visited the cafe a few other times after, in the video, I mentioned bringing my husband here as well and that had been realized already later that year.

At that time, Mist had just opened up, yes they opened up just when the pandemic hit and although that might sound sad, it was actually to their advantage. During the pandemic, Boholanos were the first ones to really experience their great service and appreciate their beauty. I can say that this is one of Panglao's sought out cafe and restaurant today based on the number of customers that it had when we visited it back in December 2021. It was really full and more were coming even if they were almost about to close.

So, congratulations Mist! I am happy to see your business booming now and for sure, I will still go back in the future because they are still making unique menu options for their customers.

When we have a toddler, we know that they need space to run around and play. It's important for their development too. So when I learned that the neighboring town has opened up its playground, I immediately asked my husband to go and visit there. It would also be a good avenue for Matti to meet other kids.

Duero is just seven kilometers from our place and it would only take around 10-15 minutes of driving to get to the main town's plaza. The plaza was closed during the pandemic and it was just recently that they opened it again for their locals to have a place to go during the afternoon.

I really wished we have this kind of playground in our town however, our tire park was damaged during Typhoon Odette and until now, it has not been repaired. I guess the local government had no plans of setting up such kind of play area.

Thankfully, both neighboring towns of Duero and Candijay have their playgrounds so the first one that went to was in Duero. This sits right in their plaza, next to the monument of our country's national hero.

Parking spaces are available on the sidewalk and even at the municipal hall entrance. On our first time here, we just parked on the highway but on our second visit, we parked at the municipal hall area.

There are only a few kids around, it's not crowded at all and I am glad about that, this means, the kids still have their own space for social distancing although masks are not anymore compulsory. The kids were all not wearing masks in fact.

Matti's favorite right now is the slides. He used to be afraid and would hold on to the sides when sliding just like what you can see in this video but he is now used to the feeling of sliding that he would lift his hands up while going down.

The other town of Candijay has a better playground though because they won't allow slippers in their playground. This means, cleaner ground and rides! With Duero's, their ground is filled with pebbles, and slippers can be used so it is obvious that the slides and other rides are not that clean at all. I have to sanitize Matti after playing.

What's also nice about Duero's playground is that they got two sets of slides, swings for kids and for adults too, they got three sets of seesaws, and spinners too! They are sturdy that adults can even ride on them as well.

There are benches around the playground for parents who would want to sit while watching over their kids.

Our little one's last visit to the barber shop was not a good one. He was crying so hard when the barber took an electric razor and suggested we must not force the child so to avoid trauma. That was March of this year.

Seven months after, we decided to try again and bring him to a barber shop just here in our local town. A few days before bringing him here, we had been mentioning it to him and set his mindset that the barbers are cool and they'll cut his hair without pain.

He seemed to be listening to us so today, we brought him and it was perfect as there were no other customers around, normally, this place is packed with men waiting for their turn. So, as soon as we went inside, they asked Matti to sit on the chair but my husband decided to hold him and sit on his lap instead so he won't get scared, it was a great idea!

He was curious as to why we were in this place where there were lots of hairs on the floor! He looked around and the other barbers were friendly enough to give him encouraging words! But, they also had mistaken Matti for a girl!

I am glad that the barber seemed to have dealt with toddlers too and he was fast in cutting Matti's hair. He said, he has to be fast or else the kids might end up with an uneven hair!

He was even cutting while talking to us about how we would like the hairstyle to be. I was not sure what hairstyle though so I just let the husband decide and they were talking about some numbers and stuff which I didn't understand but I just told the husband to do whatever he thinks is best!

Thankfully, Matti was very patient and he behaved from he start. A few times, he would say, "mama, it's almost done" and I agreed with him although it was not yet halfway through the cutting.

It didn't take long before the barber said it was all done and so we were happy to tell him that it was all done and gave him a "good job" hug.

It was then time for the husband's haircut and as we sat on the chair, more customers started coming in. Matti looked different with shorter hair. I was also happy that he was really well-behaved during the entire process! I guess he was not afraid of barbers or razors anymore!

I asked him to smile for the camera and this was the face he showed me! My parents were really surprised to see Matti with short hair. They say he looks like a young man and the hair cut looks good on him! I am relieved that the haircut went well and so finally, he won't be mistaken as a girl!

Greetings Hivers! I am posting here a drone video of Mabini's beautiful Pasto mountain ranges. A neighbor of ours who's close to my mother confronted us about lending their 22 coconut trees for Php 10,000 or approximately 316 Hive. We are saving money because we will be traveling soon but since we love "buko juice" and we felt pity for the old lady whose only child is set to go for maritime training, we decided to take it.

It has been over a week since the day we handed the money to her and she was also following up on us as to when we will go check the trees. It was only yesterday that we went.

So in this video, we walked 3,000+ steps towards the area where the coconut trees were, we passed by ricefields, streams, irrigation canals, some cows, and more ricefields to get to the location.

The owner has more coconut trees and they were also lent to somebody else. According to her, it's been years since the lender had been harvesting the coconuts for copra production. As for us, we have no plans of doing that but the owner insisted that they can do the work for us instead and we will just give them part of the earnings. I guess that's a good deal. I was actually only after the buko juice and the desserts we can make from the coconuts!

But the great thing about this was that we were able to help the couple with their immediate need. It's easy to ask to lend money but I always have doubts of the intent to pay so it is much better that something is being guaranteed rather than just lending them money because it's hard to earn today. Plus, I don't work now since I became a mother so I only earn from my online hustles.

Anyway, it was a fun morning, I had a good walk, the wind was fresh, I enjoyed taking photos of nature, I have never been to this part of our barangay so it was nice to be able to explore it. I know it won't be the first time that we will visit this place, there will be more times in the near future, in fact, as of this writing, I want to go and get some fresh buko!

Hey drone community! Drone pilots, masters, enthusiasts! How do you refer yourselves? I am just glad that I found this community. I used to post drone shots before on 3speak and didn't find a suitable community for it so I eventually stopped.

I was scanning through a list of contests here on hive and a post from @ksteem caught my attention. I am glad I clicked it!

So this is my very first post in this community. I will be sharing photos and videos showcasing the island of Bohol in the Philippines and perhaps in Cebu as we often visit the island as well.

Currently, I have a DJI Mini 2. In 2017, my husband and I bought a DJI Spark, it was our first. Then we bought a new one in 2019, a DJI Mavic Air but it crashed in salt water. We then switched back to Spark but in the same year, it also crashed into salt water again.

So this DJI Mini 2 is a year old, we bought it on 2021.

As for the video here, I am sharing some sunrise aerial shots, I am flying from our backyard in Bulawan, Guindulman, Bohol. Our barangay is well known in our town as the local cemetery is located here. It sits on a hill and it has now been crowded that the local government decided to extend and use the sloppy land down to the fields.

There's news that SM will finally build its first mall in Bohol. I am excited about that! It's been years that this has been rumored but for some uncertain reasons, the plan just won't get realized. According to some write-ups, there are politicians who are stopping the entry of huge mall establishments in favor of a corporation that is already established on the island.

I remember my cousin who works in the HR department of SM City who went to the island for hiring purposes, that was pre-pandemic but she became silent after a few months, she said the plan was canceled so they won't continue with the employment of Boholanos for their branch.

So for this new rumor, I hope this will be realized.

In relation to this, my husband and I together with our little one visited ICM or Island City Mall owned by the Alturas Corporation, this mall is where we often visit when coming to Tagbilaran City.

I went for groceries as we were staying in the city for three days. In the video, you'll see how the grocery store of ICM looks plus, we were able to get Matti to ride on some arcade rides just beside the grocery store.

Last Sunday afternoon, out of a sudden, the husband wanted to go to the tire park behind the town's municipal gymnasium. This area is just opposite the bay walk and it is a good place to pass time and get kids to play as there were swings and other things to play with. However, we were surprised of what we saw instead.

But before going there, I had to stop at the nearby restaurant that's selling sticky rice and hot chocolate. I bought four servings of sticky rice priced at Php 12 each and two cups of hot chocolate to go. This restaurant has been selling hot chocolate and sticky rice since I was little and now, they are still in business.

As we reached the park, we looked for a table and sat there as we enjoy the view of the horizon. Then I realized that the Typhoon had washed away most of the park's play corners. The swing is missing, the wall climb too was nowhere to be found, then there was the seesaw left. At least, there were still a few left there. There were colored tires too which the kids played with.

Kids indeed can be really resourceful and has a wide imagination. They turned what was destroyed to still be a fun thing. Matti was really happy watching the kids around and he too tried to play with the tires.

Later on, he found a playmate almost his age. Actually, the little girl was younger than him but they played with the seesaw and the tire bike. It was nice that Matti was able to socialize with new faces as usual, he would just play with his cousins and church kids.

We were eating our sticky rice and hot choco when an elderly offered her banana chips which were priced at Php 6 per pack. I was actually a little disappointed with the sticky rice because it was already cold and it was a bit hard like it has been cooked in the morning or perhaps the previous day. So having the banana chips saved us!

We stayed at the park for more than an hour, after eating, Matti played again, he went running, and then we noticed it was getting dark also. As September is approaching, which means the town fiesta is just around the corner, our LGU had allowed these fairs nearby the park. I am not fond of it but I took a photo just for this blog. They were just setting up and they had turned on the lights. There were kids around whom I guess were planning to play and test their luck.

On the 10th of this month, my mother turned 62. We decided to go out to a resort to celebrate it, we choose Bugnaw Se-i Beach Resort because this is a new resort and we have never been into the resort although we had been to the public beach a few times before.

Going there only took less than 20 minutes from our house. It was a Wednesday so since it fall on a weekday, in the middle of the week, there were less guests around.

I took videos while we were getting inside the resort with Matti as the subject. We paid Php 300 per adult, kids aged 5-8 are half of the price and those aged four and below were free of charge!

We were assigned to a cottage with a very nice view of the horizon and the beach.

Matti enjoyed the pool because they had designed it in a way that there's a huge part where kids can walk or run. It was too shallow that it was very safe for kids!

Then we had to eat lunch, we brought rice and drinks and cake and bringing of food is still allowed but their restaurant is also open for orders so we asked for the menu and ordered our viands. We had a great and sumptuous meal, then mother have to blow out her candles but of course the grandkids had their turns too!

After lunch, we went back to the pool. We also enjoyed the private beach at the side, it needs effort to go there but I believe its very much worth it!

After reviewing our videos during our stay in JPark, we had taken no other videos but of what Matti had done at the resort. Indeed when we became parents, our subject shifted to focusing only on our little one.

I quickly compiled the video clips we took during our stay at JPark. On our first day, we spent the whole afternoon admiring the nice grounds while driving the D.Throne to enjoy the beach and the pool on the second day.

I brought Matti to the wet market on Friday. It was not supposed to be a market day but since we ran out of supply because last Sunday my parents didn't go to the market, I decided to go instead together with the husband who has been complaining about eating canned goods for the past three days. He dislike the idea of eating it consecutively so he wanted some vegetables and fresh fish.

I was cool about going to the market. We ended up spending more than Php 2,000 on the things we bought: a lot of vegetables and spices costing Php 600+, two whole dressed chickens, a kilo of really freshly caught tuna, a kilo of Katambak, a kind of fish which is really good for soups! Then I also got a kilo of pork chops, half a kilo of ground pork, and half a kilo of adobo pork cuts.

Aside from that, we also bought some apples! I was shaking my head thinking about everything we bought! Inflation hurts!

Anyway, I just hope that this will sustain us in the next few days. We are a household of eight adults!

Last week, our church friend and his family from Cebu came to visit our town. We had been so busy accommodating them, making sure they have a good place to stay in and also went with them to the different places around our town. We also had brought them to some people they wanted to meet up. Overall, last week was super hectic but thank God we had the weekend to chill and enjoy the beach!

Daryl, the church friend who's also my husband's discipler went to some resorts in Anda and did some ocular visits. He preferred Parklane Bohol Resort and Spa as an option for them to stay when the specific event we will be holding by the fourth quarter of this year is realized.

They were so nice to invite us along for free! Parklane Bohol Resort and Spa was the East Coast White Sand Beach before, the company bought it and now they had improved the resort altogether.

From just bungalows, they had build several buildings with many rooms to accommodate guests. I have heard that their rooms are worth Php 8,000+ but they offer discounts right now while they are still rebuilding several parts of the resort.

It isn't my first time to visit Parklane, this was also the same resort where my husband crashed his drone into the sea waters. But although we have bad experiences there, it is evident that this resort is something worth coming back. It was I guess my fifth time to go here.

So, since I have been here quite a lot of times, I know that the different changes that this resort had gone through and I am glad that they have improved a lot but their day tour is still at Php 500 with free lunch! This is perfect for those who want to enjoy the beach and the pools without spending a lot!

The pools are still amazing, I was not planning on swimming but the pool was inviting that I was glad I brought extra clothes!

The weather was also perfect that day that the colors of the seawater and the pool were just so pretty! There are again parts of the resort that has been closed down due to the damage brought by the Typhoon Odette but I believe that the management are working on it.

Soon, when these damages are fixed, and the construction are all done, there will be more and more guests visiting here!

Aside from the pool, the beach here is also very nice. The shoreline is not too long and not to short, it is just enough for the guests to have this intimate space to swim and enjoy the waters. It also offers privacy because the beach has this cliffs barriers from the next beach resort. When it is high tide, they also have a jumping slash diving spot!

As for the food, we were satisfied with what was served to us. They have a limited option and I wasn't able to see the list though because we didn't come together, they first arrived at the resort and ordered food ahead. The additional order was also good, it was the fettuccini carbonara and according to Dawn, it costs only Php 180, I guess it was worth it!

In our town, I find it amusing to see rice paddies just a few meters away from the coast. My father has a client who lives near the highway and my father asked if we could take some photos of the house which was being constructed and so my husband and I did.

After taking photos, I suggested we should fly the drone here. This section in our town used to be our home. We lived for some good 15 years here, I and my siblings and grew up here swimming in the sea in the early mornings until past noontime. We would only stop swimming because in the afternoon, especially during summer, it was time to move to the dried rice fields for some more playtime!

I am still wondering why we have not taken drone shots of this area. I guess it would be nice content to showcase how the town looks from above.

So my husband took some videos with the drone. As you can see, the road here is straight up to the bridge. On the other side was the way going to the public market.

The coast looks muddy because it rained the night before we took these videos. It rained super hard that it caused flooding from the river and it went into the sea. This is always a case here whenever it rains hard the night before. Lately, it has been raining in the evenings too almost everyday.

There are many coffee shops now in Bohol and in Panglao, there's one that is very interesting because of its workspace and makerspace amenity. Usually, coffee shops in the island would only have a small are for their customers but Common Crew had offered their space for those who need to have access to fast internet service while enjoying their cup of hot coffee or perhaps cold as well.

Common Crew Cofee Roasters + Brewers take pride that they have their own roastery in partnership with multi-awarded Champion Roaster and 2-time back to back Philippine National Barista Champion Sly Samonte, who is also the Kape Director and Resident Coffee Roaster of LICK El Nido and an advocate for Philippine Coffee.

The staff were so nice to allow us to take videos of the area. They were even very friendly in welcoming us, asking where we are from and making sure to recommend what's the best option for us.

They referred Spanish Latte, I ordered it cold. The husband ordered Salted Caramel instead. We find them both sweet but I was not able to sleep the entire afternoon! I guess their coffee indeed is very strong!

What's so nice as well is that they have their outdoor seating with some of their pet animals. The architecture is very simple and minimalistic plus they made us of some plants to add highlights to the bare walls.

If you happen to be in Panglao, make sure to visit the coffee shop!

We dined at this restaurant in February, I want to share with you the ambiance at the said restaurant.

What's so nice about this restaurant is the presence of so many plants! As its name suggests, it has gardens in it, it is even perfect for garden weddings too as they have a huge space at the side of the restaurant enough to cater to around a hundred or more people!

This restaurant also has its own wine cellar which makes it more interesting! I am sure not many Boholanos knew that there's such a place in Bohol. They accept walk-ins but it is preferred to call for a reservation if the guests coming are a large group.

The restaurant can accommodate a large number of guests too within the dining area because they have many tables and chairs. They even have a lounge for those who want to sing!

I highly recommend this restaurant and I am sure that we will be back soon too!

A day after CCLEX or the new Cebu-Cordova Link Express or what Cebuanos refer to as the third bridge opened, we tried to go there to see the view and experience this 30 billion project.

We thought on the next day, it would be a smooth passing because most of those who were curious about the bridge would probably have passed it in the early morning or the night before. The express link is open 24/7 but what we want to capture is the beauty of the view when the sun is about to set in the afternoon when we are about to go back to Cebu City.

But we were surprised to meet a long queue of vehicles as we were on our way to Cordova.

There were so many vehicles and we were stuck in traffic for more than an hour, so, unfortunately, the cash basis process right now is causing the traffic and I figured out that it was not just us who were curious because some of our friends posted that they were stuck on traffic too on the same day, same hour.

We still had a glimpse of the sunset, it was indeed beautiful but then, we were facing Cordova so we were not able to see Cebu City in its golden hour. Anyway, when we were on our way back to Cebu, we just did a u-turn, most vehicles did that by the way so it was obvious that these vehicles were just there out of curiosity just like us! :)

So, lesson learned, we should have waited when the RFIDs are already working and not been taken by the hype. We just wasted time and money that day. For now, we will just be satisfied watching the bridge from afar. Here's the view from our village, the CCLEX is visible from here but we need a zoom lens to capture it well.

Witnessing a sunset in Moalboal was one of our top priorities upon reaching the town. We came all the way from Cebu City from nine in the morning, travelled to Busay, we stopped by a cafe along the way for breakfast, then Balamban, down to Barili for another stopover for lunch, we took some time at the Milk Station watching peacocks then reaching Moalboal at around three in the afternoon.

We rested a bit and by five in the afternoon, while the husband was still on his laptop for office work, I brought Matti with me and searched for the sunset. I didn't know which way to go, I just followed Google Maps on the way.

It's actually our third time in Moalboal but that was our first time in this area. During our first time, we just settled at Saavedra, the second time we were at Hale Mana but this time around, we booked a room in the Panagsama area. This is considered the base of backpackers and other tourists, there are a lot of resorts and Airbnb here.

I was so delighted I went out just in time. I saw the sun peaking through the coconut trees as I was walking, carrying my toddler who refused to walk. I guess I built my muscles walking while carrying him but as soon as he saw the waters, he asked to be put down.

It was time for the two of us to just enjoy the view and I called the husband to follow us, he showed up after a few minutes though. I had a quick conversation with some local kids too.

Sunset here in Panagsama is beautiful, the shoreline isn't very child friendly though but anyone can still swim here it's just that the area has been affected by Odette so it shows a lot of damage.

It was a sunny day yet the wind was cold but nothing can stop us from enjoying the beach because it was just us in Lagunde Beach at seven in the morning one fine day of April.

It's always fun to be at the beach and since it's already summer, we hope to have more time with the salt water in the next days so I hope as well that the rain will go away and will never come back at least for the next two months!

Lagunde Beach is just a few minutes away from the in-law's house, we still have to cross the street though but that's not too far from the highway so all is fine.

However, this beach has rocks distributed along the shoreline, the sandy part is still far from the shallow area so it was not a good idea to go there, we just stayed at the shallow one as Matti wants that he can stand and pick up rocks then throw them back into the water. A child's happiness is truly simple and so we got contained by how happy he was picking up stones and throwing them that we got compelled to do the same. It was indeed fun!

When was the last time you tried throwing rocks or pebbles into the sea? There's even a gratifying feeling when you can do stone skimming and my husband is good at it! I should have taken a video of it too, maybe next time!

Mist has been highly recommended by several tour groups thus when you visit the location, you'll notice it to be packed with either foreigners or Tagalog-speaking individuals. Bohol is part of the Visayas, thus our main dialect is Bisaya. So seeing those visitors who are not Bisaya-speakers made me think that this restaurant slash cafe had indeed become the talk of the town already so most local tourists and guests would dine here to experience its great ambiance and good food.

This was my second time visiting the restaurant, the first time, I was with my family and we had an afternoon snack where we had milk tea, and fries. The second time we visited, I was with my husband and baby, we came from Cebu and checked in at The Bird of Paradise, and thought of coming here at night so we could check how the location looked during the evening.

However, there were so many people that priority numbers were given and since we had a baby, we decided to eat in another restaurant instead then come back after for dessert.

This tropical, balinese style of interiors really is a trend nowadays, I find it very comforting and just refreshing being surrounded by plants, woods, and everything brown.

We also witness other people's orders like the sizzling one which the servers will have to light up at the customer's table. The table next to us ordered that so we had a close view of whatever was happening.

I highly recommend the restaurant and if you come by Panglao, Bohol, do make sure to come early to avoid the long queue, according to the staff who welcomed us, some customers would come before five or four in the afternoon. This is very strategic as they also have a sunset viewing deck.

Got a time to compile these mobile videos I took at Pineale Resort and Spa in Tawala, Panglao, Bohol. This was for my husband and I's seventhI wedding anniversary celebration. I have a blog article about the private villa here: , you might want to check it out.

We booked this for only less than Php 2000, the entire villa was great plus it has a private pool, a jacuzzi, and kitchen! In fact, we didn’t have to go out of the house to eat the entire stay, we just cooked some food and enjoyed the pool and the company together.

Also, a drone shot is included in the video, it was just a simple one showing the villas. There are studio types, one bedrooms and one for family. I highly recommend this and since they are still on sale right now, you better book soon!

I thought we have a lot of videos but it turned out htat we only got a few so looking at them I immediately scanned it and then compiled. Thanks to Da Vinci Resolve, cutting, pasting, and even rendering these videos didn't take so much time, in fact, the render time took only less than a minute.

I consider this a paradise in Panglao because of its location being raw, the birds around can be heard even inside our room and that it is just a small resort, it felt so intimate and you can make friends with the people around such as the staff and other workers.

On February, after our overnight stay at a private villa in Pineale Panglao, Bohol, we decided to stop by a food park which is now a well known foodie area to Boholanos specifically those who are in Dauis, Panglao, and Tagbilaran area.

We arrived around two in the afternoon and we saw there were already a few people, the entrance was at Php 100 which is also consumable which means, we can use it to buy anything inside the food park.

This is owned by the Fortridge properties and in fact, it is within their property land. Their houses looks premium and we believe that they also created this foodpark so they can easily have access to food options plus, it is also a fund raising for their community.

A lot of cars were parked at the parking area when we arrived. We paid the entrance fee upon entry and explored the location immediately. There were so many food stalls ranging from Filipino cuisine to Korean Samgyupsal, buffet, snack houses, some famous restaurants in Bohol also are present. I guess anyone who'd visit it will not run out of food options.

At the center of the place is a stage where live bands can perform. And kids can also enjoy here because there's a Koi fishpond and the management also sells fish feeds. We bought two packs which were priced at Php 20 each and we let the Matti and his achi feed the koi fishes. It was always fun and relaxing to see them and I can sense Matti was also enjoying although he couldn't let go of many feeds at a time, he would just throw one into the water.

Since we were done with lunch, we bought fries instead for the kids and after exploring the entire place at the ground, we checked the viewing dock at the second floor. There were milk tea stations there and it has a view of Tagbilaran City. It's quite cool though plus they also have a LOVE sign at the parking grounds.

We headed out after checking the entire area as we had no plans of dining in.

Bitoon Beach brings back so many memories of my childhood. Although it has a little creepy pathway going to the main beach, it was our go-to beach area back when we were still younger. I can't count the times that we had been here.

But if I would recall an unforgettable memory here, it would be when my friend, cousins, and I almost got drowned.

The beach offers a good shoreline but we have to pass by a rocky area which is quite challenging during high tide. On that day, it was a high tide, one of our friends who came with us was riding my back as she doesn't know how to swim and the water was around neck deep, we still went on and tried to go past that area so we can get to the sandy shoreline.

Unfortunately, there's a hole in the path where we were passing and I stepped on the hole which means this was way deeper. The friend who was at my back decided to push my head into the water so she can survive. I was trying to swim out of the water to get air but she was pushing me down further and my cousins didn't know what to do.

Thankfully, I decided to swim a bit further and was able to step again on a rocky part and I survived! I thought I was going to die!

Anyway, the last time I visited this place was back in college, so that means, it's been a decade, there were changes like a seawall had been created already and due to the pandemic, there were unmaintained areas, I can't forget that there's a huge rock where we used to climb and jump. It's still there but the beach huts are all gone.

My father has an ongoing construction project in this area, a rocky beach. The client is a Filipino who is retiring from the USA and had found Bohol as his retirement home. His first option was Siargao but after spending a month there on the island, he found it hard to get access to hospitals, banks, and other necessities so he decided to look for another option, he figured staying in Bohol for a month too and found it easier to live with those things he needed.

He found a land in Jagna and this was filled with so much rubbish, the team cleaned it up, made riprap as it is not flat land, and now, it is starting to show the beauty of Larapan. From the highway, the beach can be seen and it is always inviting - blue waters however, the challenge is that it is rocky, there's only a small area of sand but it can be developed. The owner bought the third lot and now he is in the process of also buying the second lot next to his current property.

Currently, the house is almost done, there are only a few touches needed. My father suggested we check the location while the house is still under construction so we visited the area once and went swimming with the family.

Indeed, it's rocky but again, it can be developed. It looks really beautiful from above and the client also has a drone which I believe he had seen the beauty of this area. His house, I will feature next time, the last time we went there, the staircase was still under construction. Now, it has been finished so maybe once we go back to Bohol, we can take photos and videos of the house.

Got the chance to vlog while we were at Ibabaw Gardens A Must Visit in Tagbilaran City! so I'd love to share the experience while at the restaurant.

What's so nice about this restaurant is that they got a wine cellar and this is my first to find in Tagbilaran City, or Bohol in general. After finding that there's a wine cellar in Bohol, I guess that's not the sole one available in the island. It's exciting to find more soon.

We didn't drink wine though, we just took photos and videos. But we had lunch at the table next to the wine cellar and we were the only ones inside the room so it was free to do whatever we wanted. I must mention that there's a great hand painting in the dining area.

Living in the province since 2020 made us appreciate nature and the simple joys it give us when we are in the midst of it. One of the joys we had dreamed of before was having our backyard garden. My father loves gardening and so as raising chickens. Both of which my husband had also dreamed of having but he can't do so while we were still in the city.

Urban living is not very suitable for first time parents like us, especially in the midst of a pandemic. This pandemic has become a means for us to move to the province, in Bohol. And thus those two dreams came into reality.

Now we have a backyard garden and we can raise chickens but of course all of these we are thankful to my father who tirelessly had exerted effort in taking care of both divisions.

He allows us to harvest the fruits of his labor and we enjoy it so much that Matti would often ask like every single day to go to the garden and watch the chickens while being fed. It is a simple thing but it truly brings happiness to us both. And seeing Matti enjoy these things as well makes us even more happier.

I got the chance to check on my hard drive today and found old video clips of Matti learning how to walk. I had a hand me down walk trainer given by my church friend who gave me a lot of things during my virtual baby shower. These things they had given me were really helpful and I super appreciate them for giving me a baby shower, although virtual over zoom, the items were given to me personally but since it was COVID time on 2020, we had to wait for awhile before I receive the items.

Thankfully, I was able to make use of the walker. I believe Jen, the generous giver used this for her two boys. I tried it on Matti and this was truly helpful, he was able to practice walking with it. We used to train him by the afternoon because at that time, the sun's not very harsh already and that we can walk outside the garage, we only have a little space there as it has been used as a parking space and there's also an inflatable pool used by my niece and nephew.

In the video, my husband just focused on Matti, he was really jolly in walking, very enthusiastic, very active! He would go from here to there, won't mind all the barriers in front of him and would even want to go outside of the gate! Oh oh!

He was successful in getting out though but the road is just two meters away, we have to keep him in control. His grandfather came in a motorcycle and boy, he was fascinated, he kept running towards him!

I compiled the video clips in Da Vinci Resolve. I changed the frame rate though as my husband filmed it with 60fps. I love slow motion videos so I changed it to 23.976fps and this resulted to smooth slow motion videos.

Music is always a hard time. I checked what's in my local drive and all I could find that is solemn is this one from 24Seven entitled Of Christ from their album Source of Life. This song was a free one which I found while looking for some Christian music.

That's it for today! Isn't it nice to look back and see how our kids had reached certain milestones especially the skill of walking? Matti is still not a pro in walking even until today but he can manage to walk by himself, there are still times when he stumble down especially on a not flat surface. But he can manage to stand up and be careful in walking when that happens.

He runs too! But I would make sure that I am behind him so that when he stumble, I can catch him. The same thing with my husband. I still get mini heart attacks too when he gets into accidents while walking. All of these things are of course part of growing up. He will surely learn and will be walking by himself.

On the 27th, a praise jam event was held in our church, this was just a small gathering because there's a specific limit on the number of people inside a venue due to the pandemic.

It was just the Guindulman Christian Bible Church and the Voice of Triumph Church who had attended the said event. This was originally set last December but since there was no electricity due to the typhoon, it was decided to postpone it and wait until the electricity comes back.

A month after Odette (Typhoon Rai), electricity came back in some parts of the town and we are thankful our church was part of it. The praise jam event finally was made into a reality.

It's so encouraging to see young people dedicating their time and talents for the glory of God. There was a praise and worship at the start, then a message was delivered, then the praise jam of two sets afterward. To end the event, snacks were given to everyone before we decided to go home then.

It's a blessing to witness this, I made a short highlight video of the event.

Bird of Paradise sits in the famous area of Tawala, Panglao, Bohol. Alona Beach is a few minutes walk away but this resort is distant enough for guests to hear wild birds because they got a forest-like neighborhood!

I like that the resort management only had made minimal change on the landscape, they didn't even cut that big tree in the middle of the resort. Small and very intimate, I highly appreciate the extra mile services that this resort offers such as food order and delivery, they'll do it for you as they don't have any meals available except for breakfast.

Because this is a resort in Panglao, we thought it would be expensive to stay here. In fact, its original pricing is a bit on the expensive side and I truly understand that because of how nice the rooms are designed and the amenities as well included but I am really blessed to avail their promo rates of only Php 1800 for a night.

I was browsing on my gallery this morning, I bumped into a video where my husband and Matti were unboxing a basketball stand. I realized that I made this video so I can upload here on 3Speak but I totally had forgotten about it until today. Thank God I have not deleted it or anything.

The basketball standee was an impromptu purchase. Back in November when we went to Cebu City, we visited SM Seaside Mall, I bought a few items, shirts, bedsheets, some toys, and others. While lining up for the cashier to pay, there's a toy section next to it and I was making a quick scan on the items displayed. This basketball standee caught my attention. Matti and his father bonds while playing basketball in the playpen but then his basketball ring has been broken many times as it is not attached properly to the wall.

So, I asked the husband to get the standee. This is great because it is not just a basketball standee, it also can be played as a soccer, and a golf. It comes with a basketball, a soccer ball, and two golf balls. The material looks nice and the ring can be adjusted according to the player's height. I was sold to it plus the colors look good too so I immediately requested for the item to be brought to the cashier. The staff went and get a brand new one from the stockroom.

My husband assembled it while Matti tried helping his papa. We first thought there wasn't any paper guide included but later on, we found it in the pack where the parts were placed. The assembly was easy, it even comes with a tool to tighten the screws.

Today, Matti enjoys playing with this, he would often clap and show us when he would shoot the ball. We bought the item for Php 1700 (approximately $30+). I believe it is a good buy.

Lechon is always a favorite for Filipinos may it be during celebrations or even on normal day. Back in the days, lechon or roasted whole pig was somehow considered food for the rich but today, it has been a common viand available in the market every single day but when there are occasions especially birthdays and weddings, Filipinos love to either roast it by themselves or pay someone else to roast it for them.

In Oslob, my husband's family is used to raising hogs intended for lechon on someone's special day. Back in November, our beloved grandmother celebrated her 84th birthday and so the relatives prepared a pig around 30-40 kilos in weight, prepared and roasted it from home.

This is a long process and takes a couple of people to do the task.

First, the pig is exterminated from the neck then the internals are taken out, then, hot water has to be used to clean the skin and inside of the pig. There's a dire need to use new and sharp blades to shave the skin, the requirement is that there must be no hair on the skin and all the other parts of the pig. The hot water will help with that too.

Spices are also bring prepared such as scallions, bay leaves, black peppercorn, garlic, salt, and distinctively tanglad (lemongrass). This is placed in the stomach, inside the ribs and then the skin will be sewed back together. A metal pole has to be inserted from the butt to the mouth of the pig, salt will be applied on the skin and into every part of the pig, and finally, it will be roasted over charcoal from coconut husks, it is then turned constantly to cook it evenly. The male cousins and uncles took turns to do this manually.

This process took more than four hours so the process started pretty early around noontime and ended before dinner starts. Everyone's favorite is the skin, it must be crisp and tasty. For me, my favorite parts would be the skin and the ribs, that's where the best flavors.

As it was grandmother's birthday, every son, daughter, cousin, nephew, nieces, and grandchildren came to celebrate that day, the lechon was surely the highlight and everyone took their parts, of course after a few minutes, the lechon was left with no skin and ribs. Most of the time, the head and the butt are always left behind.

A few months ago, we visited the sister in law's house in Camella Homes Tagbilaran City. For the many times that we had been here, it was the only time that we decided to walk around the village. It was a peaceful morning, the sun was up early, it was still around six in the morning but it felt like it was already seven, the heat of the sun was not painful though, it was still healthy for some Vitamin D.

It was my mother, father, my baby Matti who was still a few months old at that time and my husband who went out but my nephew Seth came with us too when he found out that Matti's stroller was out in the streets.

As we walked around, we found dead frogs, they seemed to be crossing the street but were ran by some vehicles, poor frogs. Then we also met a cute little dog who was fond of babies and kids. We pet him and he was very friendly!

Then as we moved along, we spotted many other houses which were of different design. The surrounding was very peaceful indeed which I liked.

Then we reached the Parco Verde which I believe means Green Park. There's a pool there but it was still not being allowed to be used, water was drained because of COVID-19. Next to it is a basketball court which was closed down too because of the pandemic and the plants and trees around were unmaintained.

The funniest part was when we tried going to the playground and found that it has been covered by the shrubs and it felt like we were going inside a jungle!

That was the end of our morning walk and we went back to our homebase for breakfast.

Two weeks ago, our province and the neighboring islands suffered greatly from the raging storm locally called Odette, its international name is Rai.

I shared a video a few days ago where we have seen the things it caused to our neighborhood. The people around us were dismayed about the devastation but they were not sad. I remember hearing a conversation from our neighbor farmers who met right in front of our house.

Farmer 1: Kumusta imong tagod?

How’s your seedlings?

Farmer 2: Paita lage, nalata tanan!

It’s awful, they are all rotten!

Farmer 1: Ako pod lage, balik uno. Mau gani naay nabilin humay.

Mine as well, I have to start from scratch.

Mind you, they were smiling during the conversation. They didn’t feel like victims, they move on from the situation, and it was just a few hours from the typhoon! It was a devastating thing to find your ricefield becoming a river, flooding all your plants to death but life must go on indeed. They accepted the sad fact of the effects of the storm and had decided to start over again.

There’s a great lesson I have learned from these farmers. Thinking about how they handle such situation in an instant way, I have to also apply the same in my endeavors and perhaps everyone else affected can also look at the positive side of things rather than the dark corners.

This video displays the aerial view of our neighborhood right after Odette, it was taken early morning that's why the sun has not yet showed up. We are surrounded by rice fields and they had been flooded that the rice seedlings were rotten, there were so many rubbish floating on the fields, trees and debris fell into them.

It was frustrating to see the body of water making it look like a lake at that time. Two weeks after the typhoon, it’s again raining hard here in our place. The rice fields are again filled with newly planted seedlings and I hope that today’s rain would do no harm to them.

Odette went on a rampage on the 16th of December, leaving our town in a chaotic state with most of the household's roofs being blown away and trees down.

We had the chance to check on neighborhood the morning after the typhoon. Check the video to see what happened to our town. There were roofs found on the street, street lamp posts lying on the road, electrical lines cut down, trees all over the place, rice fields now became like lakes, and coconut fruits floating.

It was a poor thing to see farmers looking at their fields filled with water. Every household was just affected. Our house still has our roofs intact but there were so many things that had been damaged, still, we are grateful that we didn't were safe.

A package came today, it came from a shop called SmallRigWh.ph in Shopee, it took almost two weeks to be delivered, I was hoping for it to arrive sooner but the seller sent it five days after I ordered it.

Anyway, it was all good. I immediately unboxed it so I am sharing this unboxing video with you guys. Do you use a cage for your camera gears?

I was introduced to using a cage from the YouTube videos that I had watched from influencers and from the time I had used it on my Sony A7III, I had always loved having one for my camera.

The main advantage of having a camera cage is that it protects the camera. Also, it adds more weight to your setup which helps with stability especially when shooting handheld. Since most cages have a lot of mounting points, it will allow you as well to attach more accessories to your rig so you can expand it by adding a top handle or side grip for example.

Since the ZV-E10 is built with more plastic compared to the other APS-C models from Sony, I immediately thought of buying a cage for it after using it a couple of times. Yes, it adds some cost but for me, it's worth for its added protection. Music from Motion Array:

Visiting Busay was part of our bucket list when coming to Cebu in November. One of the resorts that we aimed to go to was Charlie's Cup but then it was too far that my driver didn't want to spend too much time on the road. We decided to look for another spot instead and we figured, it would be nice to revisit Serenity Farm.

I blogged about our experience dining at their cafe, you can check it here: We Pay for the View at Serenity Mountain Cafe We brought our drone DJI Mini 2 with us and upon asking permission, the resort allows flying of the drone so my husband set it up at noon and flew it. It's too hot during noontime but we don't have any choice but fly it at that time.

True enough, the heat of the sun had affected the drone as it started acting up, the screen was no anymore giving a live view of the flight so the husband had to make an emergency landing, a good thing that the drone was still controllable.

So we had only a few clips for its aerial shots.

December came by so fast that when I checked my journal, I thought I have 31 days for November! So I immediately thought of a theme for December. I don't want to spend so much time making this as I only have a couple of hours to work on it while my baby is asleep. I searched for inspiration and thought I could just work on a black and white theme. I decided to use snowflakes instead.

And since there are snowflakes, I decided to add a snowman because, why not?

This layout was done in an hour. I had used the following materials:

I got a new page which is goals as its the holidays soon and I have to create lists of gifts and I will just add it to my goals, I had bought gifts already for my nieces and nephews, I don't plan on giving gifts to the adults in the household, perhaps, for the parents only but not for my brothers anymore. Also, my husband and I don't give gifts to each other.

After creating this layout, I am satisfied because I didn't spend so much time drafting and creating the final layout.

I purchased a new Sony ZV-E10 while I was in Cebu City last week and here's an unboxing video to share with you.

Disclaimer:

I'm not endorsing this particular camera to anyone. I am not affiliated with Sony. All of these are personal and based on my own opinion.

Here are just some of the reasons why I chose this camera. This is just what comes to my mind right now and soon I will create a review perhaps which also includes my first impressions of the unit.

Notice that this camera is marketed for vloggers, it is a 24MP APS-C mirrorless interchangeable lens camera. As for the specs, you can google it. :)

1. Portability

This camera is very compact (343 g or 0.76 lb.) and I love it. This might make other turns off but for me, it's a good thing. I also love that controls are simpler compared to the a6400 for example. Although you might need those custom controls in my current use case I'm okay having less.

2. Usability

I love that it has an articulating display. For some reason, it is better for me compared to just a tilting display. Also, the big record button is also a nice touch which is like from their height end alpha camera specialized for video. The new on/off switch that is the same as the FX-3 is also very welcome. It's also very helpful to have that large red rectangle outline that appears around the frame on the LCD that's indicating that you're currently recording a video.

3. Customizability

Although this is not so customizable as the other aps-c models like the a6400 and the higher end a6600, I found that you can still set five custom keys at the back and one at the top and they're enough for me. Also, when shooting video, I love that it has Sony's Picture Profile which has my favorite that is CINE4 customized to look like S-Cinetone from their high-end video cameras.

It came to us that the rice fields were ready for harvesting a few weeks ago before we traveled to Cebu City. The husband and I brought Matti to take some clips of the commotion in the ricefield however when we arrived at a neighboring ricefield, the farmers were all done with harvesting and were about to go home, some were at the ricefield but they were already threshing. Still, we took advantage of the light and took video clips of the surrounding.

There were still some parts that were not yet harvested and I believe they were scheduled to be cut the next day. Farmers take advantage of the sunny days and harvest their crops before the rainy days arrive. They harvest by cutting the rice plants with a scythe or sickle by hand, they use a machine thresher then they still have to dry those grains before they can send the sacks of dried grains to the milling. It takes a lot of processes and so it is understandable if farmers would demand a higher price for their rice products. I had talked to one of those workers who dry the rice grains and they have to be attentive to the weather, when there's a sign of rain, they have to put everything back into their sacks, we are not talking about one sack of rice grain, they usually dry more than 20 sacks.

It's just sad that our farmers here in the country are not compensated enough for their efforts, some would even ask for discounts like they are almost asking for it for free.

Anyway, in this video, you'll see the common view in the province, mountains, birds flying, birds perching on electric lines, locals on their motorbikes, some walking on rocky roads, farmers in the ricefields, cows, and the rice paddy landscapes.

Our house is just nearby, it took us just five minutes to reach here.

A few days ago, I had shared black and white photos of the neighborhood volleyball game here in Oslob, read here: Php 20 Volleyball Match - A #monomad Challenge

This is a daily scene here and I captured it on video too, this time, I left the clips as is, no color grading, just pure cutting.

The video clips were taken using a Sony a7iii at 120 fps.

The video includes the scenes of the game, my baby and his cousin Zia, my mother in law, the kids playing around the area, the vendors, and the bystanders.

What's so cool was that there was a rainbow! It wasn't that clear when I filmed it but later on that afternoon, the rainbow's colors stood out and was clearly visible from where we were standing. It was nice to see a rainbow again after a long time.

Tomorrow afternoon, we will be back to Cebu City then in a few days, we will travel back to Bohol as well.

Bohol Bee Farm had opened several branches from within the Bohol island as well as the neighboring Cebu.

I had been to several of their restaurant branches from the one in Galleria Bohol, to Liteport, to their branch in Island City Mall, and even in their new branch in Jagna to Cebu SM Seaside branch as well as that in Robinsons Galleria. However, I have never been to their original restaurant within their farm. I have to visit that soon!

But after all these restaurants, I must say that they had consistently stuck to their theme - a rustic one filled with anything highlighting Bohol's pride from the tarsier to the Chocolate Hills. They also feature vintage items and wooden stuff.

I believe the management exerted efforts in finding and resourcing such items. I remember their branch in Jagna where they had reused a vintage door and made it into a tabletop together with new embellishments, they preserved it by adding laminates.

Their chandeliers are always head turners. The products being sold at the restaurant as well add beauty. They sell the products that they use in their food options too and rest assured they provide great food!

To properly monitor the audio when recording and editing video, my husband bought a Maono headphone. It arrived a few months ago but we only got the time to edit the unboxing video.

This is so far the most affordable monitor headphone with good quality so we opted to get this instead.

So far, it does the job. I like its matte black color and it feels premium. Using this, I wonder how the experience would be with those really expensive ones. For now, we are quite satisfied with it and perhaps will try another brand in the future when this one stops working.
