It's kinda amazing how things seems to not work in your favor, but only to teach you to trust and let go. Never to rush because great things are worth waiting for.
I am not here for another heartbreak, not another sad love story. I am here to share a beautiful passage I came across online and everything was on point.
And now do you know the correlation between taking a shower and thinking? It’s like deciding which part of your body to get soak first and knowing that eventually you’ll have to give in to the cold or hot. You might not get it, don’t worry I don’t mind.
This would be the hardest episode I have to write, but the most special.
They say “we don’t remember days, we remember moments” and I’m holding on to that thought that in your little time of wonders, you’ll smile and say, I remember that..
I hope and I prayed that even if it’s hard, we just have to accept that you’ll be starting a new chapter of your life with new characters on it. I bet that would be exciting for you because you always love new people, new discoveries and just the thought of having to wake up alive and breathing.
I wish God would give you all the strength you will need. I wish God would continue hugging you and smiling at you because you deserve all the love and happiness in this world.

Thought I might share this poem I've written years ago. One of those random days on the road.
They say, it’s only ideas gained from walking that have any worth, and it sure does. When you’re feeling heavy and you feel like it’s too much, what do you do?
Kumusta ka? Ikaw na pagod, malungkot, nag iisip ng mga bagay-bagay, wanting to be heard but felt voiceless. Ikaw na feeling mo ginawa mo naman lahat pero kulang padin. Yung feeling mo nasayang na naman ang isang buong araw kasi walang ibang nangyari? Tara, pakinggan mo 'to. :)
I wrote this one back in 2017, I guess it's still relatable. :)
"True enough that you would only know why things didn’t happen the way you wanted it to be once you’re finally out of that equation. Once you’ve finally got a hold of the door and see the whole picture from afar."
..And you that moment when you can tell your story without shedding a tear? That's also the time when you can say that you have completely healed and that you have found your peace...
If you’re someone silently fighting battles within yourself, if you’re someone who’s tired of running and hiding, hang in there. Be brave and pray for your soul, for your peace of mind and know that God never sleeps. He sees you and he listen. You just have to believe that you can and have faith that there will always be that light at the end of the tunnel.

We can only take control of what we can, and we don’t have any control of what others will say. According to this book The Daily Stoic, the circle of control contains just one thing; OUR MIND. You’ve got just one thing to manage; your choices, your will, your mind. So mind it.
Sometimes, you meet a stranger and in an instant you just click. It’s like meeting an old friend whom you haven’t seen for a long time and the conversation just comes out naturally. It’s like giving you all the butterflies and the giggles as if that of falling in love. It’s like sitting atop of a roof top with all the stars shining brightly and you just don’t wanna end the time. Stories of misfortunes doesn’t have to be tragic, but relatable. Brokenness doesn’t have to be hidden but shared. Sometimes, we walk into a room looking for that someone who can meet us on a soul level. I’m not even talking about romantic love, but genuine friendship.
I wrote this poem in Filipino two years ago. A dedication to a love time and continent apart. I was never really good at expressing myself this way but I guess there will always be a time when you will be ready. No person in particular, just memories of distant days.

They say letting go does not mean erasing a memory or ignoring the past. It is when you are no longer reacting to the things that used to make you feel tense and you are releasing the energy attached to certain thoughts. It takes self-awareness, intentional action, a little pep-talk with yourself and time. It’s like finally returning yourself to yourself.
Just letting it go.
We always get to the point that no matter what we do, no matter how we want something, the universe will never give you what’s not meant for you to have, true to the saying that “When God shows you it’s time to let someone go and you refuse to accept it, he will allow the person to hurt you to the point you have no choice but to let go”.
It's been a tough month for me everything hit me all at once. I guess a good reflection will come in handy.
"I also liked the saying “God removed people from your life because he heard conversations that you didn’t hear” or probably have seen group chats you’re not invited to. The most beautiful thought I would have to remember."
