As we celebrate our 40th episode, we look back at what has been an amazing birthday weekend for Layla, with all the surprises that her family, friends and Mark had lined up for her. Mark has signed a new deal this week, which will keep him busy for some time, Layla is receiving more gym gear and we will celebrate Switzerland's national day on Sunday, the 1st of August, with some more rain, as we struggle to have a proper summer. Bon soir dear babble crew! Before we head out to beautiful Lake Geneva for a one week holiday, we babble about our drama last weekend. As we both received our second vaccination, we were knocked out for about two days and pretty much flat out all weekend. Other than that, Mark finally handed in his thesis, Layla gets to enjoy England playing in the final of the European Football Championships. Layla is being stressed out by her own lists and we talk about whether or not to watch the Olympics in Japan this summer.

Switzerland is tightening measures  with Layla's work effected once again, as the health care system is running at its limit. Covid can apparently also spread through your farts, so be sure to wear underwear and don't come too close to your loved ones. Mark has been to the market once again while trying to make up his mind about the future and Layla keeps helping people get fitter and healthier.
