RAW Dinner isn’t just a clever name: this podcast is a RAW recording of our family’s dinnertime - our little slice of American life - completely unedited and unscripted. It's like our family oral history, told one meal at a time.
You might laugh or cringe - maybe you’ll get rubbed the wrong way. So all of this is just my long-winded way to say that this podcast may contain content that is not suitable for all listeners. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.
leftover chicken made into something. it's what happens when there's no plan.
thankfully, this one worked out.
leftovers divides us. we just eat all over the house.
non jenga brought us back together.
We never sit around the table and eat lunch, but we did so I guess never say never.
And the recorder died at dinner, so...
A phone call from mom interrupted us. I decided not to record her conversation, which is illegal without permission in the state anyway.
So many.
And we decorate a pre-built gingerbread house, 'cause we suck at building it from scratch.
Leftover mashed potatoes, beef, corn, leftover Tennesee Onions and some cheese. Not your normal pie, and oh yeah, and Evie spitting.
We just didn't want turkey again. Pizza Friday! And for some reason, we play Scrabble Junior for a few minutes then give up and play not-Jenga, the generic wooden tower stacking game.

Pull up a seat and join the family during the biggest dinner of the year. There's a new guest, a crap ton of food, and a turkey that is questionable. This is raw after all.
BONUS: Dessert continues the conversation, complete with pumpkin pie and brownies and a little too much whipped cream.
