According to The New York Times, Microsoft offered Sony a 10-year contract to keep Call of Duty on the platform after their acquisition of Activision-Blizzard closes in 2023. This is only the beginning, since Phil Spencer has said that the company wants to keep Call of Duty on PlayStation "as long as there is a PlayStation" to release it on, but that's not stopping hardcore PlayStation players from jumping to conclusions.

A Plague Tale: Requiem has officially launched on Game Pass, and Modern Warfare II pre-orders are giving players early access to the campaign! After going hands-on with both, these may be two of the best games in the last few years - with plenty more to come throughout the fall gaming season. GamesBeat's Jeff Grubb reports that Starfield will launch on Xbox and PC, following in line with Phil Spencer's statements that Bethesda games will launch where Game Pass exists. While the news is frustrating and angering PlayStation fans, it's part of Microsoft's larger strategy to bring more value to the Xbox ecosystem to compete more heavily in the new generation.
