The Biz: Recent Episodes

Thomas Giella

The Biz is my Podcast dedicated to all topics in relation to business. How to start a business? How to run a business? What to watch out for in your business? What I did that I regret when running my businesses.

Podcast Back Story:

Thomas Giella worked multiple jobs while attending college full-time. Working for multiple large retailers and SMB businesses, Thomas went to school to become a draftsman. Thanks to the economic slowdown around 2007, Thomas had to once again go back to school to learn yet another skill. This is where he started his first business, while working full-time hours in his part-time job at a big box retailer, and going to school full-time. Once Thomas graduated from school the second time, he worked as the lead marketing manager for an international equipment manufacturer.

After some years, Thomas quit his job and started his own marketing firm. This marketing firm has turned into a full fledged I.T. Management company. Thomas now works full-time as a business owner, looking for new opportunities around every bend in the road.

Listen to The Biz to find out how Thomas made it this far, and how you can as well. Thomas talks about the classes he attended, plus what worked and what didn't for him.

Tonight, I go over what happened to me tonight when I met with a client board at their board meeting. Briefly go over the different types of clients you can interact with. And go over what makes a good salesman. Bonus, horrible experiences I have had with a client and how I kept my cool.

Side Note: It is 11:30pm at night and I am really tired. I yawned about 6-times during the podcast. I'm so sorry!
