Leavitt is a nationally certified CPST (Child Passenger Safety Technician) trained by SafeKids and is passionate about carseats! She is also a "retired" professional nanny and NCS of 12 years - can you ever be fully retired!? She has a passion for being out and about with her nanny kids, and wanted her kids safe when transporting them. Thus she became a tech! She throughly enjoys helping the nanny community understand their carseats and how to get a great install. When Leavitt isn’t doing carseat consults, she is often found photographing concerts and theater shows (or anything really!), snuggling someone else’s newborn, riding her horse Kona (who’s the best fur child!) or spending a chill evening with her husband and friends.

Jodi Congdon is the founder and owner of Hip to Heart, a birth + postpartum doula agency in Boston. You could say that she is obsessed with all things birth, parenting and babies! She loves to learn and strives for expertise in her field. She is a trained Labor Doula and Childbirth Educator as well as a certified Lactation Educator and Postpartum Doula. She is also a member of the CAPPA Faculty as the Postpartum Doula and Lactation Educator Trainer for New England. In addition to training doulas, She helps birth professionals create a strategy to grow their businesses and a plan for implementation.

She also provides education to healthcare providers with the goal of dispelling myths, reducing fears, and improving their evidence base so they can better support their clients’ goals.

Dairian Roberts received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of California, Irvine. The thought of an additional 4 years at pharmacy school was daunting, thus prompting her premature quarter-life crisis and career change.
Dairian landed in the windy city to complete her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Ask anyone from her cohort and they’ll tell you she was passionate about hand therapy. Yes, Dairian transitioned from splints and casting to babies and birth equity. Motherhood will do that to you.
Dairian has trained in traditional postpartum care, homeopathy, newborn care, and manual therapies. She is a passionate advocate for Black maternal health equity – creating opportunities for high-quality, accessible care within her community.
Dairian lives in Los Angeles, CA with her husband, son, daughter, and family pet, Fire Dragon, a bearded dragon lizard.

Lauren Fucci is the Director of a School Counseling program and a Holistic Pediatric Sleep Specialist. As a sleep specialist, her mission is to provide education for parents on what normal sleep looks like, so they can manage their expectations for those early days. She also enjoy helping parents get more sleep without using sleep training methods, while keeping emotion and attachment at the forefront. She has always been drawn to helping others, and after becoming a Mom, realized there was a big gap in education surrounding normal infant sleep and the value of a mothers intuition. She has 12 years of experience in working to support mental health first in adults, then children & now in mothers and babies.

Jennifer has been in the healthcare field since 2011. She graduated with a bachelors in nursing from the University of Florida and from University of South Alabama with her masters. She worked 7 years in labor and delivery before becoming a family nurse practitioner working in Urgent Care settings. Since the COVID shut down and a move from Florida to Tennessee she has been working as a stay at home mother to four kids and creating a side business selling apparel and gifts for Birth Workers. Despite all the career changes her true passion still remains with all things pregnancy, birth, and postpartum with a special love for VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean). As a labor and delivery nurse, it was her mission to help her patients find and maintain their voice and autonomy during the laboring process. In her spare time she enjoys getting the kids, ranging from 8yrs to 1 yr old, out of the house. Their favorite places are parks and playgrounds around beautiful Knoxville TN. She is a lover of coffee, espresso, and chocolate and is known to stash oreos away from the kids to enjoy in peace after they are all in bed.

Wendy Sjaardema is a CACHE certified Newborn Care Specialist, Master NCS® and a seasoned nanny with over 15 years of professional experience.
