I am excited to present the new Road Trip Minisodes - a series of specially curated "minisodes" that I’ll be releasing periodically in-between seasons, that will help you prepare for your next eerie adventure on the road! This episode is about Gravity Hills:
You leave your car in neutral on a desolate road. Suddenly, it begins to roll uphill as ghostly hand prints appear on the trunk... Gravity Hills, also known as anti-gravity hills, magnetic hills, or mystery hills, are a common phenomena not just across the US, but across the globe, where a vehicle will park at the bottom of a (usually haunted) road and invisible specters will slowly push your vehicle up hill, sometimes leaving their handprints on the back of the car.

S3E10 (Bonus): The Kansas City Vampires
It was January 27, 1890 in Kansas City when a startling article was published that talked of possible vampires in the Kansas City area. One newspaper titled this article "Blood-Drinkers - Life-Fluid From Children’s Veins Sucked By the Father in Accordance With Their Rites".

S3E9: Folly Theater
The year was 1900 and the Standard Theater just opened in Kansas City and it was the talk of the town. But businesses would go on to struggle, and eventually the theater sat abandoned. After some hefty investments and renovations, the Folly opened its doors once more, and now houses two resident ghosts...

S3E8: Nelson Atkins Museum of Art
As a former employee of this museum, you can imagine my excitement when I heard rumors of a haunting inside. I spent the last year and a half compiling common encounters and experiences, and even had a few of my own...
In this episode, I recommend some other generally creepy paintings. Some other pieces of artwork I recommend checking out that aren't mentioned in this episode include the museums own reliquary, said to contain a finger bone of Saint John the Baptist which is located in a small room near the museums Cloister. In that same room we have a painting by Bosch that I am particularly fond of, and in a hallway outside of the museums Temple Room you will find a carved figure that was donated by Vincent Price (the famous actor) who acted in movies like Edward Scissor Hands.

S3E7: Murder in Room 1046
It was the early afternoon on January 2, 1935 when a man walked into the Hotel President, in what is now the Power and Light District of Kansas City, MO. He asked for an interior room several floors up and said his name was Roland T. Owen and had a Los Angeles address. Staff recalled that he was maybe in his early 20’s and dressed well, and wore a dark overcoat. But they found it odd that he had no luggage or bags with him; something you expect to see when someone is traveling so far.
When a bloodied Owen is found in his room (and later dies) efforts to find out who killed him, and who he really is, took place as the case grew stranger by the day.

S3E5: John Wornall House
Located at 6115 Wornall Road in Kansas City, Missouri is another one of the areas few surviving antebellum homes; the John Wornall House. This house has seen no shortage of suffering: from family deaths, to the wounded soldiers who were tended to in this house…and who sometimes didn't survive their injuries. To no surprise, this home is now known to be haunted…

S3E4: Alexander Majors House
It is no surprise that such an old location, like Alexander Majors House, might have gathered some ghosts over the years. Staff and visitors alike have reported hearing disembodied voices and phantom footsteps coming from empty rooms in the house, as well as experiencing the feeling of being touched and unexplainable cold spots.

S3E2: Union Station
Although the history of Union Station is fun and inspiring, it holds a much darker past which has brought about its paranormal fame, because this was the location of the "Kansas City Massacre".
Some believe that this event has caused the rumored hauntings experienced by visitors and staff today, with the crew of Ghost Adventures being the only one allowed access to this location for a real ghost hunt...
(I may have accidentally said "Leavensworth" instead of "Leavenworth" one or two times in this episode...woops!)

S3E1: The Kansas City Demon
The Kansas City Demon (or Kansas City Winged Demon) has been sighted roughly 4 times in Kansas City, Missouri, and it is described as being rather tall and having the face of a “ugly man” and a 12-foot wingspan, with the wings on this enormous creature being described as leathery, like that of a bat.
Could this creature be real? Perhaps it's a case of mistaken animal identity, or maybe it's related to another neighboring cryptid of a similar description...
Podcast Announcement: You'll notice this season is being released differently than the previous two, which released all at once. A recent poll on the Eerie Places Instagram showed that more listeners prefer episodes to be released spaced out. S2E2: The Witch House
The Witch House, also known as the Jonathan Corwin House, was once the home of the Salem Witch Trials judge Jonathan Corwin. This home is the only structure standing in Salem today that has direct ties to the trials of 1692. Many believe that a curse inflicted by one of the victims haunted the Corwin family, and today staff, visitors, and ghost hunters alike believe it to be haunted.

S2E3: Old Burying Point
Also known as the Charter Street Cemetery, many notable names are buried here, as well as a judge from the Salem Witch Trials. This cemetery runs adjacent to a memorial for the victims of the trials, and as one of the areas oldest cemeteries, it is said to host a number of paranormal happenings.
