Love is a command in the Bible, and the standard in which we are to love is the way God loves us. Knowing His perfect love naturally results in a deeper relationship with Him. As His love removes all fears and secures us, we will be able to speak, listen, and act in our relationships through the lens of love.
God's fundamental nature is love, and His perfect love was displayed in Jesus' atoning sacrifice on the cross. As our knowledge and understanding of His love grow deeper, the more we are transformed and able to know how to love others.

When we embrace the call to gather together, to come together and do the mission together, there will always be relational challenges, tensions, and differences, yet the author of Hebrews encourages us to not give up meeting and do the mission together.
Acts 2 starts and ends with the disciples coming together. We can highlight God's design and call for the church to embodied gathering. When the believers gathered together, they witnessed miracles.
It takes both generation to shape and influence the world so that it becomes what God intended. God imparts a double blessing on the next generation's life and ministry.
In a world where bad news from the past and present abounds, we show up and respond with a different spirit that is full of faith and obedience. When we respond in faith and obedience, we choose God's blessings that will last for generations.
Right after the world is destroyed and you have to start all over again, God gives seed to Noah. In the worst of times, your rescue is in the seed.
We believe that Jesus, the King of kings and Lord of lords, will return to earth bodily, in power and glory, at a time fixed by the Father and unknown to the Church, to raise the dead and judge the world. He will clothe the righteous with immortal, glorious bodies, rewarding them according to their deeds. But the unrighteous, Satan, and the forces of darkness, he will punish with eternal destruction. God will consummate redemption and renew creation, and his people from every nation will enjoy, worship, and reign with him forever.
We believe that sanctification is the process, beginning at regeneration, whereby God conforms his people to the image of Christ through his Word and Spirit. By grace, Christians grow in holiness and love for God and others throughout their lives as they submit to Jesus, obey God’s Word, and walk by the Spirit in fellowship with other disciples.
We believe that water baptism and Communion are the two sacraments ordained by Christ, visible signs of God’s covenant of grace. Baptism is the sacrament of entrance into the Church by which believers publicly identify with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. Communion is the sacrament whereby believers corporately remember Christ’s body given and his blood shed for their forgiveness. Sacraments are means of grace in which God is present, affirming his promises represented by the visible signs.
We believe in one holy, universal, and apostolic Church, the body of Christ of which Jesus is the head. As God's holy people on mission, the visible Church is expressed in gathered communities where believers assemble to pray, worship, hear God's Word, receive the sacraments, and fellowship with one another. Through the ministry of his Spirit, faithful disciples, and biblically-qualified leaders, Christ builds and grows his Church.
We believe God’s mission is to redeem a people for himself from every tribe, nation, and language and to restore creation for his glory. As the Father loved the world and sent his Son, and the Father and the Son sent the Spirit, the Triune God sends the Church into the world to proclaim the gospel, make disciples, and seek God’s justice and reconciliation in the world.

We believe that salvation, planned in eternity and promised throughout Scripture, is God's gracious act of rescue whereby he delivers lost and sinful people through faith in Christ's redemptive work. Because of his great love, God makes people spiritually alive in Christ through regeneration by the Holy Spirit. By grace, God forgives and justifies people through faith, apart from works, conferring upon them all the benefits of union with Christ, including the gift of God's righteousness, the indwelling Holy Spirit, and adoption into his family.
We believe the gospel is the good news that God became man in Jesus Christ to reconcile lost people to himself. He lived a perfect, sinless life on our behalf and died on the cross for our sins. He was buried, and on the third day rose from the dead, securing our redemption forever. Having triumphed over Satan and the forces of darkness, he ascended into heaven as Lord of all. Everyone who repents and believes in him receives forgiveness of sins and eternal life
We believe God created all things, visible and invisible, out of nothing, and all very good. He sovereignly sustains and governs creation for his glory ad the benefit of his creatures. God created humans in his image, male and female, to know, love and glorify him in covenant relationship and to serve as stewards of the earth. The first man, Adam, sinned against God, resulting in alienation, death, guilt, shame, and a curse upon the earth. Separated from God and subject to his judgment, all humans have inherited a sinful nature from which they cannot themselves.
We believe God has spoken through human authors in the Scriptures, the sixty-six canonical books of the Old and New Testaments. The Bible is the only written, verbally inspired Word of God and is self-attesting, unchanging, and without error in all it affirms. As God's authoritative, infallible, and sufficient revelation for life, doctrine, and practice, the Bible is to be trusted and obeyed.
We believe in one God, creator and sustainer of all things. He is perfect and unchanging; completely loving, good, and holy; limitless in knowledge, power, and presence. God eternally exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; one in essence, having the same divine attributes and perfections, with each person fulfilling distinct roles. Gracious in his eternal purpose to redeem a people for himself, God is worthy of wholehearted love and worship.
To rejoice in the Lord means to find joy again, over and over, in the Lord. This results in peace in the midst of anxiety, contentment despite lack, strength despite trouble, and supply for every need.
Enduring joy comes from the surpassing worth of pursuing Christ, by knowing Him despite the loss of all earthly gain, and pressing on towards His upward call.
Christ set the example of humility and serving, and was eventually exalted. Joy is made complete when we walk in the same way in our relationships - in unity, love and service - and we shine as light in the world.
Is financial freedom the end goal of people? Jesus showed u that there is more to life than financial freedom.
Our relationship with money is not just an issue of following financial rules, it's about a relationship of trust with God.
The Lord promises to shake and dethrone nations and kingdoms and the strength of their armies in order to exalt His servant leaders as His chosen representatives of His kingdom.
The people of God have been defiled by their neglect of God's temple while being busy with building their own houses, resulting in disappointing crops and harvests, but the relaying of the temple's foundation will restore His blessing upon His people. Let us then revive our hope in the restoration of the fortunes of God's people as we prioritize the building of God's house.
The rebuilding of God's house is accomplished by God strengthening His people by His Spirit. Let God renew our strength in the task of rebuilding His house by revealing His plan to shake the nations so that the treasures held by these nations will be loosened for the glory of His name.
This week, we had the privilege to hear God's Word through one of our pastors in Every Nation Middle East. Brian, who was reached out in the campus as a student, shares what it means to leave a legacy to the next generation.
Paul preached 2 years for in the lecture hall of Tyrannus and all the provinces of Asia heard the word of the Lord, and extraordinary miracles were being done by the hands of Paul.
Saul saw a vision on the road to Damascus, and Jesus himself spoke to him. Ananias prayed for him and he was healed from blindness, and he began preaching the word immediately after.
The apostles were persecuted as they preached the word of the Lord, and were even imprisoned. But an angel set them free and they were back to preaching the following day!

The Holy Spirit enables us to proclaim this message of first importance with power (1 Corinthians 2:1-5). In the same way, receiving this message is made possible by the power of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 1:18).
Christ's resurrection is of first importance. Christ being buried, raised and appearing to many witnesses (1 Corinthians 15:4-8) prove Jesus' claims and validate our faith in Him (v. 14). Christ's resurrection upholds all reasons to believe and hope that when we die with Him, we will also live with Him (Romans 6:8).
Christ's death on the cross is of first importance (1 Corinthians 15:3). He was afflicted, pierces for our transgressions, and crushed for our iniquities. Through his death, the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all (Isaiah 53:1-10). Christ had to die. Scriptures attest that His death was instrumental in bringing the unjust to God (1 Peter 3:18).
The church is on a mission. In order for every tribe and every nation to call on the name of the Lord Jesus, we must be willing to do whatever it takes to bring the Gospel to them, for as long as it takes, until it takes, and then we keep going.
The Lord sets free the prisoners and those who are doomed to die. As such, the closing of history will see all nations worshiping God.
The greatest need of all peoples and cultures is hope that we have in the God of our salvation. It is the gospel that reveals this hope.
Jesus delivered a demon-possessed man who has been oppressed for a long time. After his deliverance, he went back to his town, restored back to his hometown and became a herald of the Gospel. Oppression comes in many ways. It may be religious, social, economic or political. Jesus dominated and defeated the work of the demon; proclaiming that He is the Lord of all creation, whether the physical world or the spiritual world. Jesus is able to miraculously deliver us from our oppressors and restore us back to our identity and introduce new ways of living for Him.
Jesus calming the storm exposes the human heart's predisposition to fear and be anxious in events that are beyond our control. Storms in the sea are normal events in a fisherman's life. However, they were caught in a tempestuous one that they couldn't handle. Jesus calmed the storm and brought peace to their hearts. This miracle showed Jesus' lordship over matters that are beyond our control.
This miracle points to Jesus' heart and compassion or those who are afflicted. More than the physical healing that Jesus provided for the leper, He touched him and responded to him with compassion. He restored the leper's social status by healing him and commanding him to declare himself healed among the priests as a custom for healed lepers.
In some of Jesus' miracles, He does it to show His divinity and purpose of being the Messiah. In this account, Luke was intentional in highlighting that compassion to bring comfort was Jesus' prime motivation for the miracle. Jesus expressed His compassion and desire to comfort the widow by raising the son from the dead.
Jesus demonstrates His omniscience and lordship over the sea; defying the natural laws of the sea and instantaneously providing a large number of fish for their catch. This miracle did not only provide for their personal needs of the fishermen but also opened a opportunity to be Jesus' first disciples; to serve Him for the rest of their lives. His provision comes with a greater purpose of drawing us closer to Him ad enable us together to serve Him fully; catch men and draw people closer to Him.
Jesus sets the beginning phase of His ministry by performing miracles to heal many. The healing of Peter's mother-in-law brought the community's attention to Jesus as the miracle worker; one who heals and delivers people from demonic oppression. The community's identification of Jesus as a miracle-worker, applies for us today. He is God and He is faithful to let us experience His supernatural power in our time of need. We can believe God for miracles for our personal situation and trust the Holy Spirit to do wonders as we minister to others.
The glory of God will be fully displayed when he raises from the dead all who have trusted in Jesus. This great hope comforts the souls of all who wait on God to fulfill his promises.
God performs miracles in order to display his works which reveal his character, nature, and purpose. He does not perform them on the basis of the worthiness of the recipient, since none are ultimately worthy.
Jesus is sovereign and performs miracles to bring his disciples through the chaos of the current corrupted creation in order that they might fulfill his mission and eventually inherit the new creation (v. 21).
God's miraculous salvation through Jesus is sufficient to satisfy the needs of all who hunger for God and righteousness, even as his miracle of multiplied fish and bread satisfied the hungry multitude (v. 11).
God sometimes performs miracles to deliver people from the consequences of their sins (v. 14). In essence, this is what God has done in raising Jesus from the dead.
God's miracles are important for spreading the gospel, since some people will not believe in Jesus unless they see signs and wonders (v. 48).
The ultimate purpose of God's miracles among us is to reveal the glory of the Son of God (v. 11), yet a concomitant secondary purpose is to bless people.
Jesus is the light of men. This light can be rejected or believed in. Those who believe are made children of God. As believers who have experienced the life and light of Jesus, we are called to witness about that light so that all may believe.
Jesus is the source of all life. That life became flesh and dwelt among us. Christmas reminds us that in these troubled times, He came near to bring you life, and to sustain and uphold you.
Jesus is the logos - was in the beginning, was with God, was God, and dwelt among us in the flesh. Emphasis is on Jesus being Lord and creator, supreme and pre-eminent. The response is much awe and hope in this "baby on a manger" who we celebrate this Christmas.

Picking up from the Abrahamic mandate to be a blessing t all the families of the earth, we now segue into a Gentile and his family that encountered God through Peter. Cornelius is a family man, a Roman army officer, well respected by the Jews, and a man who made an impact among his family, relatives, close friends, and in the city through his faith, example, and influence. He responded to God. His conversion was a major stepping stone in advancing God's kingdom in the empire's capital and later to the Gentile world.
God called Abraham and made a covenant with him, promising that "in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed." The call of God for Abraham ad his descendants to be a blessing to all the families of the earth sets the tone for God's purpose to bless the nations through the families.
Understanding God's provision within the covenant relationship leads us to obedience therefore being agents of transformation within God's Kingdom purpose
Understanding God's provision within the covenant relationship should led us to realize that we, His people, are called to walk in His ways and fear Him. Provisions therefore, should lead us to trusting God not the provision. God wants the people to learn that the living Word is more important than the bread. When people live for material things, they will never find life that truly satisfies them.
One of the central themes of the book of Deuteronomy is the call to remember who God is an what He has done. Before the Israelites enter the promised land, God reminded them of a time when they were led astray, how He humbled them and put them in a place where there is no one to depend but God. God did not test the hearts of men to reveal for already what's inside the heart of men. But God tested his people so they may know the condition of their own hearts. When abundance comes, pride can easily set in the hearts of men. When people start to think that it is through their talent and the work of their hands that gave them wealth, then God's hand of warning will remind them otherwise.
God has established and is faithful to His covenant, an aspect of this covenant is His promise to provide. God wants his people to live by the covenant that He made.
Every covenant has two parties involved and each side has a responsibility to fulfill. God wants his people to obey so they may enjoy the blessings of God's covenant. We must remember God at all times especially in times of abundance for it is easy to forget our need for God in times of plenty. We mut remember the source of wealth and the One who enables us to acquire it.
We rekindle the next generation's passion to serve God who works wonders resulting in inspired servant leadership.

The central message of the Bible is clear and understandable, and that the Bible itself can be properly interpreted in a normal and literal sense. The Bible is written in such a way that its teachings can be understood by all who will read it as they seek God’s help.
Canon can be generally described as the collection of books, which form the original and authoritative written rule of the faith and practice of the Christian Church, i.e. the Old and New Testaments. The word canon, in classical Greek, is properly a straight rod, "a rule" in the widest sense.
Inerrancy means the unerring quality of Bible; free from error. What the Bible says regarding matters of faith and Christian practice is wholly useful and true.
The authors and editors of the Bible were led or influenced by God with the result that their writings may be designated in some sense the word of God.

Jesus comes from the Father and gave His disciples the Father's words. Those who receive His words will be kept from the evil one and be sanctified in the truth of God's Word as they are sent into the world on God's mission.
Jesus is the true vine who imparts life to His people. As we abide in Him, we will be aligned to His will, resulting in prayers that trust His ways and a life of obedience. As we obey His words, we will find joy in abiding in His love.
Jesus is from the Father and speaks His words, and always pleases Him. Those who abide in Jesus' words are truly His disciples. They will know the truth, and the truth will set them free from their sins.
Jesus is the true bread of heaven. Whoever feeds on Him by feeding on His words will live, for His words are Spirit and life and are the words of eternal life.
Jesus has life in Himself, and everyone who hears His word and believes the Father receives eternal life. They have passed from death to life and will not face damnation. Though they may die, they will again hear His voice and be raised from the dead to everlasting life.
Jesus is the Word of God who created all things and imparts life and light to everyone who receives Him. He grants them the right to become God's children and reveals the Father to them in grace and truth.
