Maybe one of the most powerful take-aways from this class discussion was: should we be focusing and making more time for the people we love, the experiences and memories we want to create in our own lives, and how to take better care of this amazing planet we call home?
Today we have a conversation with CDC Vimont student Asmaa, who shares some of her personal story immigrating to Canada and not only the challenges that come with learning the English language, but how she has become confident and proud of herself for pushing on with her journey of speaking fluent English. Asmaa we think you are brave!

DJ Corchin is an author and illustrator of many children’s books. He uses his unique humor and wit to focus on socially conscious messages involving kindness and emotional awareness.
