Recent university graduate - Anastasiya Tumel - is here to talk about job search experience, first positions, and starting a career in Lithuania as a foreigner. Digital marketing has taken over Anastasiya’s interests, so she made her best to enter an advertising company with sufficient knowledge. Now this young specialist can share feelings and thoughts about the job search process, work in an international agency, and what it is like to love what you are doing. Also, Anastasiya is sharing the overview of the marketing “kitchen”: how the advertising team operates, how to get your ad running, and more specifically what responsibilities a Media Manager has.
Welcome an international student of Vilnius Tech - Subhransu aka Kirito - an enthusiastic guy from India, always full of new ideas and funny stories. In this episode, Kirito is sharing his story of ups and downs, personal attitude towards creative industries and creativity itself. Subhransu found his own way of expression - poems writing, and here you can find one of his recent poems that might inspire you to grab a pen and start creating.
With the first episode, we decided to go for the basics but touch on the most crucial points. Our guide to the world of creativity - Ruta Latinytė - a copywriter able to break the myth that creativity is only for artists.
So, together we discuss what is creativity as such, why it is important nowadays, why everyone can be creative and how to develop a set of creative skills. Also, we discuss barriers to creativity, what can stop us from being innovative, and Ruta is sharing some tips and her favourite exercises to overcome the obstacles and develop creative thinking. And last but not least - how to come up with an idea when you go totally blank, how to be creative when you aren’t inspired but the moment requires a plan.
