As the culmination of my work throughout my M.Ed. program, I gathered together different experts from numerous fields to discuss trauma-informed practices in schools and how these practices support students, specifically within the immigrant and refugee context. But we don’t stop there! With numerous critiques and misconceptions about these practices, I wanted to unpack these alongside key stakeholders, clarifying its core tenets and goals while also engaging in critical conversations about the future. Join us in dreaming and reimagining these practices for greater equity for our students!
