The Discovery 2020 is a student-made podcast that seeks to inform others about obscure news stories or underrepresented narratives that occurred during the COVID-19 outbreak.
In this episode we analyze the scope of the conflict in relation to the human impact, that is: mortality, damage to quality of life, curtailing of democracy, among other things.
In this episode, we give background for the origins of the Nigerian EndSARS movement, explain what SARS (Special Anti-Robbery Squad) is and why they are controversial, and why the movement started to flare up 2020.
In this episode, we give background to understand the current conflict in Ethiopia’s Tigray region, including the ethnicity in the local area that are in conflict, history, and political parties.
