The voice you’ll hear on today's episode is that of Jonathan Tjarks. Jon passed away this weekend after a really hard fought battle with cancer. He was 34 years old. Jon was an NBA writer for a prominent sports & pop culture website called The Ringer. He had an incredible depth of knowledge, an amazing ability to communicate that knowledge in an engaging way, and he did his job excellently. But far more than being an NBA writer, Jon was an avid follower of Jesus. In this episode, you’ll hear him share his story, riff on his relationship with his church community & how they helped keep him grounded in his career, as well as a range of wisdom from Jon on life, work, and faith.
