What a Singapore GP under the lights. Russell and Mercedes outlined how much their car has taken a step from grabbing pole to having a dominating win ! While Mclaren sealed an impressive constructors Championship for a 2nd year in a row, all the talk was about the Papaya rules after Norris made contact with Piastri in the opening laps. Piastri was not happy with Mclaren`s response! RB and Max showed yet again that their car has now taken a step forward with them being a challenge to Mclaren at every track! Ferrari unfortunately had another disappointing weeekend.
A remarkable dominant win from Max underlying hsi raw talent that allowed not to make any mistakes from Quali to the race, even when the best of drivers crashed out or made sever mistakes hitting the infamous Baku walls. He has now closed the gap to Oscar to just 69 pts in 2 race weekends, which is remarkable. A nightmare weekend for Mclaren, but specifically from Oscar Piastri netted him zero point leaving Baku after a crash while Norris only fared on 7th place! An excelled performance from Merc as they came in 2nd with a fantastic drive from Rusell, and an fantastic drive from Kimi who came in 4th. A brilliant day for Sainz who came in 3rd for Williams, and also Liam Lawson who came in 5th and qualified in a top 3 position the day before!
An absolute clinic from Max Verstappen on the fastest race in F1 history at 1 Hr and 13 mins ! He dominated with a blistering pole and was able to maintain an amazing pace during the race without making a mistake. The Mclarens who finished 2nd and 3rd were mixed up in a strategy controversy when Lando had a slow pit stop and the drivers were told to switch positions. The strategy team decided it was best to keep the peace and switched the positions around. We hear in the podcast from Mclaren race leadership Andrea regarding the matter.
What turned out to be a brilliant race after the summer break, that had everything from crashes to a thrilling flag to flag win for Piastri ! Unfortunate day for Norris who was on his way to 2nd when hsi power unit gace out with onlky 8 laps to go ! A fantastic race from the rookie Hadjer to hold on to a podium finish ! Miserable day for Ferrari with a Hamilton crash, and Lecriec being taken out by Antonelli of Mercedes.
Another fantastic race weekend that saw Charles grab a shocking pole for Ferrari who show a good step up in pace after thier recent upgrade ! There was a pretty dejected Lewis after Quali saying words like I am useless, and Ferrari need a new drive which shocked the F1 community. On Sunday we saw a fantastic battle between the two Mclarens which saw Lando take an exciting victory! Russell did a fantastic drive for Mercedes to claim third position and reverse the negative trend for Mercedes. Charles unfortunately had a chassis issue late in the race to deny him of a podium finish for Ferrari and he was really frustrated.
Another race weekend at Spa and we had thrilling Sprint race with Max showing a masterclass to win against the faster Mclarens. On race day with rain coming the race was delayed 1 hour and 20 mins, which was way too long. This delayed race compromised Max very heavily since he's car was configured for rain conditions. Oscar had a a strong race making an amazing move at the beginning at Eau Rouge passing Norris sealing the race win. Norris came second. Ferrari had a strong with weekend with their heavily updated car with Charles securing a third place even with heavy pressure from Max all weekend. Hamilton had a very strong Sunday coming from behind to finish 7th passing a lot of cars. Mercedes really had a tough weekend with the car seeming to regress the last few weeks, and they need to find a solution fast, and Kimi Antonelli has really struggled as of late especially this weekend.
In a very unexpected news bombshell, we were told the news last week that Horner head of RB was removed from everyday operation of running the team after 20 years and building the team from the ground up. In this podcast I examine the possible reasons on what may have occurred, from reports that have surfaced.
An amazingly chaotic, crazy race day caused by the changeable weather, and decisions in reactions to the rain that teams had to do ! Also the incredible job of keeping these fast F1 cars on the track that all drivers faced today. There were a lot of drivers and cars that fell victim but the day belonged to Mclaren and Norris who claimed a victory thanks to a 10 Sec penalty leveled at Paistri for brake testing Max behind the safety car ! But the massive highlight of the race was actually not Norris surprisingly it was Nico Hulkenberg who secured a podium after 238 race starts, and securing a podium for Kick Sauber after 13 years ! He did not put a foot wrong in these very diffcult conditions, and the team executed without any mistakes !! He made history today !
A brilliant titanic battle that saw a big battle between the two McLaren's with Lando having a much-needed brilliant weekend in scoring qualifying and also defending against Oscar during the race. Unfortunately Antonelli made a huge rookier error and took out Max on the very first laps.
Canada provided a crazy interesting race with a Dominant weekend for Mercedes. Russell had a hat trick weekend scoring pole, fastest lap and a fantastic win ! His young rookie Antonelli scored his first podium capping a fantastic weekend. The Mclaren`s had a coming together with Norris trying a move that doesnt exist and crashing against the wall and ending his race ! That was a major loss for Norris who lost a lot of point this weekend !
A Spanish GP that most of us circled with a new front wing directive coming into effect did nothing to slow the Mclaren Rocketship piloted and won by Oscar Piastri ! The race went into a different interesting chapter when Kimis Mercedes suffered another PU issue and retired which has become a really worrying trend lately for the usually bulletproof Merc engines! Max was put on Hard tires while those around him on the restart had better grip tires. Lecric after a quick fight and slight bump with Max managed to overtake him, Russell who was behind went for it and Max aggressively closed the gap and veered towards Russell. The team told Max to give the position to Russell which really upset him, and in the process of Rusell closing in thinking Max was letting him pass Max in what seemed on purpose hit the side of Russells car. Max was given 10 sec penalty which dropped him to 10th position and also 3 penalty license pts. Another major highlight was Hulkerberg who was able to bag 5th position on the last lap by passing Hamilton giving Sauber and their upgraded car a fantastic result and weekend.
As always the beautiful ocean view of Monaco, with the backdrop of superyachts, provided the best Saturday Quali of the year with Lando providing a stunning lap to steal pole from Monaco born Charles who had topped all practice sessions ! Lando also shattered the all time lap record for Monaco ! Sunday unfortunately with its new mandatory 2 stop rule was a procession with teams playing teammate games to hold teams behind them up ! This rule really needs a tweak for next year ! Mclaren and Lando scored a strong win but Mercedes conversly had a very tough weekend suffering a two car loss on the all imoprotant Satuday. Kimi crashed, and Russell suffered a power loss issue making them start Sunday from 14th & 15th. The strategy they employed didn't have any risk or gamble on Sunday but was further hampered by Williams dirty tactics that other teams were also doing.
A really intriguing race with Max making an impressive move at the start of the race to go ahead and seal a 4th victory in a row on one of his favorite tracks striking a blow to the Mclarens who finished 2nd and 3rd ! Lando had a strong race to wrestle 2nd from his teamate Piastri who did not have the greatest of days ! Ferrari and specifically Hamilton had a great recovery race day, after embarasingly being eliminated in Q2 in Quali in thier home turf !
A Miami Sprint and race weekend that had action for the ages. A brilliant performance by young pilot Kimi for Merc to be the youngest pole sitter in F1 history! One of the best sprint races we have ever seen with tire strategy, weather decisions, crashes and overtakes Mia delivered. The race showed just showed how superior Mclaren was with Piastri taking another brilliant win with Lano behind me, and Rusell with another great solid drive to round out third. Ferrari are really struggling right now!
We saw an amazing performance from Oscan Piastri who had a heavy duel on the opening lights with Max Verstappen who had an amazing weekend and clinched pole. Max overtook on the outside and was given a 5 sec penalty and that pretty much dictated the race. The RB had a faster pace than the Mclaren this weekend. Norris unfortunately had another wobble this weekend when he crashed his Mclaren during Quali and had to start from 10th but recovered to finish 4th. A positive race weekend for Ferrari and Charles who scored thier first podium coming in 3rd, while Hamilton unfortunately cvonstinues to struggle.
An outstanding fantastic weekend for Piastri who score a hat trick pole and win this weekend! What a fitting 50th F1 start for the Mclaren pilot ! His teammate Norris had a tough weekend filled with mistakes but still came in 3rd. Mercedes and Russell had one of the gutsiest fantastic drives battling car issues from brake wire to steering wheel all at over 220KPH but still fending off a fast Mclaren behind to bring in a brilliant 2nd for Merc ! RedBull and Max unfortunately had a disastrous weekend ! They were down the order, had mutiple pitstop issues, but, Max still savaged 6th from last ! A crisis was called for senior RB management after the race.
A stunning unexpected pole from Max and RB on Saturday pretty much sealed a race win for Max on a Sunday! He did not put a foot wrong this weekend, and the Mclarens were on the back foot. During the race there was a strategy question whether to switch Oscar for Norris as Oscar was faster so he can chase Max, but at the end of the day the track was very difficult to pass. Yuki`s mich anticapted debut in his own country did not result in a good outcome for the race, but we will see what happens in future races ! Mercedes Anotnelli had a record break weekend has a became the youngest driver in F1 history to score a fastest lap and also lead a Grand Prix ! This young man is one to watch!
We had an interesting Chinese GP weekend that served up our 1st Sprint race of the new season. Hamilton scored a really surprising victory in Sprint highlighting a very controlled Sprint Qualifying, and race ! Ferrari had a tale of two half's, when after the race they ended having both cars disqualified , along with Gaslys Alpine for being underweight, and Hamiltons car having worn skid blocks. During the race Piastri had a fantastic victory for Mclaren, while Norris nursed brake issues to come 2nd , while Mercedes had another great weekend with Rusell, and Antonelli doing another solid job with finishing in 7th even though it was later found out he had floor damage.
We were all treated to a fantastic crazy Australian GP that had all elements of a crazy race, that mixed conditions turned upside down. The weather caught out so many drivers from rookies, to all time veterans like Alonso resulting in him crashing out of the race. Only 14 drivers finished. Norris had a fantastic race to finish without any major mistakes except one spin. Paistri unfortunately had a costly mistake which changed the course of his race ! This was a brilliant race from Merc who finished 3 and 4th, and by far the driver of the day with an amazing debut from rookie Antonelli, who went from all the way 16th to 4th. He made very few mistakes, awesome passes and avoided the barriers ! Ferrari defiantly underperformed with a wrong strategy that had them finishing 9 and 10th. Albon had a fantastic top 5 finish.
We had a busy 3 days of testing that showed for the most part remarkable reliability for all the teams ! Overall comparing test times, drivers' conversation and such Mclaren seem to be the preemptive favorites heading into the new season, and 1st race in Melbourne ! That is followed by in my opinion Mercedes and Ferrari. Mercedes seem to have made great gains, showing a very solid platform and covering the most miles/laps out of all the teams in 458 ! RedBull unlike the last 2 years seem to be a little out of sorts, they had issues throughout the test and covered the least number of laps with 304. Both drivers also did not get the amount of testing miles they wanted.
F1 celebrated in grand style its 75th anniversary in London in the O2 Arena with a red carpet to boot. All the teams new liveries were introduced, and it was a grand affair. We also cover Ferrari`s new car introduction, and how Lewis and Charles are feeling about it, and finish off with latest F1 news roundup.
The much anticipated Ferrari era officially started this week. We saw the first pictures of Hamilton in an Iconic picture in the backdrop of Enzo Ferrari`s house. This week will be an intense immersion as Ferrari call it, where he met all the engineers, management team, and different technical departments. This will lead to a test drive in a 2023 challenger! Let's see where this exciting era takes us.
Here we are in the offseason. This episode recaps last season 2024. All the interesting things we witnessed, the highs and lows. I also cover the two biggest news items of the week with Calopinto heading to Alpine, and Andy Cowell named CEO of Aston Martin F1 team.
We have reached the end of a great season with Norris and Mclaren securing a thrilling constructors Championship after 26 long years. Ferrari gave it a great try with an amazing race from Charles jumping from 19th to the podium! Lewis ends an amazing legendary relationship with Merc where he secured 6 championships countless poles ! Hamilton had a fantastic race and strong finish for Merc from 18th to 4th !! We also await of Sergio`s fate after a really bad season from him !
Qatar provided a really good racing weekend that had a lot happen on the track. Max secured another strong win, while debris on the track caused havoc for at least 3 different drivers. Mirror from Albons car scattered all over the racing line when Bottas smashed it, causing tire punctures for Hamilton and Sainz as the FIA did not stop or bring the safety cars out for 3 whole laps! Further down a strong effort from Russell, while Hamilton had another really difficult weekend ! Word came after the race that Ocon would have his last weekend racing for Alpine as he will be replaced with Jack Doohan in Dubai.
Vegas produced another fantastic race weekend that ended up crowning Max with a 4th Championship ! But it was also a Mercedes domination weekend. From the first practice the Merc car was the class off the field topping all the time sheets and also securing pole with Russell. In the race Russell drove a fantastic race but he wasn't the only one, Hamilton drove a fantastic race from 10th to 2 passing a lot of cars, and further underlying the pace. Norris and Mclaren had a bad weekend, with Max passing Norris to secure his championship. Ferrari was able to secure a podium, but there was heavy tension between lecrec and Sainz because of team order instructions.
An absolute drive of a champion from Max to start from 17th in rainy wet condition to power himself to the top podium position! He absolutely solidified his strong hold on the Championship after thus Sunday ! It was the exact opposite for Norris who finished a disappointing 6th. A fantastic effort from Alpine and their drivers to finish 2nd and 3rd in podium positions after very strong drives, and great strategy! Also a notable mention of Russell to power the Merc to a podium start on Quali, and who could have finished on the podium on Sunday!
An exciting Mexican GP that saw a lot of passes, and strong drive from Sainz and Ferrari underlying they have the fastest car out there currently. Max and Norris had two tough battles on the track, and Max received two different penalties for 20 Secs. Norris got a strong 2nd place to gain 10 pts on Max. There were very questionable aggressive moves from Max that could have taken out both drivers out. Mercedes had a strong recovery drive to round up 4th and 5th. Magnussen in the Haas also had a very strong weekend.
A titanic battle between Norris and Max gave Ferrari and Charles including Sainz to have a brilliant weekend in America !! The aggressive start by Max pushing Norris off track not being called, to then have a later very close battle to result in a 5 sec penalty for Norris has been the talk and controversial decision from the stewards and the FIA.
A dominant performance by Lando and Mclaren under the night lights of Singapore! The race unfortunately was not an exciting one, especially compared to what was happening offtrack. The FIA president sparked outrage trying to stop driver swearing, and then comparing it to hip artists, whcih sparked a protest from Max Verstappen who was summoned to the stewards ! We also maybe witnessing the last race fo Daniel Ricardo.
An outstanding and thrilling race from Piastri of Mclaren who dueled with Baku qualifying King Charles who qualified on pole yet again for the 4th time in Baku ! It was heartbreak for Charles who yet again couldn't get on the top step after a brilliant Quali ! Norris also had a strong recovery drove from 15th to 4th to close the points gap to Max, but also providing Mclaren with the lead in Constructors for the 1st time in a long time. Disaster happened on lap 49 for Perez, who was having a really strong weekend up to that point in the struggling RB car and Sainz who collided and ended both their weekends with zero points!!
In one of the most seismic technical movements we have seen in F1 history, Billionaire owner of Aston Martin Lawrence Stroll has pulled a major coup in landing Adrian Newey ! Newey who has built cars that have won 12 Constructor championships will now for the 1st time ever will not only lead the technical team, but will also be a shareholder, and make all the technical decisions for the team. This episode dives into the how, and why this happened!
In a stunning turn of events a Mclaren front row lockout, and what many expected to be a straightforward win for Lando, has turned to be a big Tifosi celebration for Ferrari and an excellent win for Charles Leclerc in Italy. The crowd erupted in joy as the two Mclaren drivers looked visibly pretty shaken, and in Landos case dejected! Ferrari gambled on one stop strategy that hit pay dirt, but on the other hand Pasitris extreme aggressive start allowed the Ferrari driver to pass Norris, and also in turn ruined Russells whole race, causing damage to his car ! Max in his RB who was down the order described his car after the race as undrivable!
An abslouetly dominating weekend from Norris and Mclaren this weekend. The big upgrade Mclaren brought worked, denying the 1st time Max and RB did not win in front of Max`s home crowd. Ferrari and Leclrec scored an unexpected podium! Mercedes who were in a roll coming in from the summer break, had a tough weekend.
The long F1 summer break is about to finish, and this episode covers the breaking FIA ruling on Asymmetric braking that was ratified during the summer break. Has that been one of the items that have affected Red Bull performance? What will RB do with its driver decisions after deciding to keep Perez? How ill the constructors battle shape up between Mclaren and Red bull, as Mclaren close in at an alarming rate. Mercedes also joining the party, with a huge performance gain wining almost 4 of the last races!
A fantastic and unexpected performance by Mercedes with a one stopper from Russell stunning the rest of the field, and a strong drive from Hamilton secured a 1-2. That result wasn't to be, as controversially Russell was later disqualified for being under the FIA mandated minimum weight. A shame to an otherwise fantastic race weekend, with a strong race from Piastri for Mclaren as well to round up the top 3 ! Max had a good recovery drive with an engine penality, but it looks like it is the last will see of Sergio Perez from RB, with another disappointing performance.
A fantastic and unexpected performance by Mercedes with a one stopper from Russell stunning the rest of the field, and a strong drive from Hamilton secured a 1-2. That result wasn't to be, as controversially Russell was later disqualified for being under the FIA mandated minimum weight. Max had a good recovery drive with an engine penality, but it looks like it is the last will see of Sergio Perez from RB, with another disappointing performance.
A fantastic first win for Oscar Piastri that was filled with controversy in the way Mclaren handled the swap with Norris who had another strong drive ! Mclaren seem to have build a rocketship, but magaing thier two very fast drivers has been a challenge. Fantastic measured drive for Lewis who scored a podium for Merc ! Max and RedBull had a frustrating weekend , where Max had a collision with Hamilton, was very frustrated at his engineer and the entire team !
We were treated to a fantastic British GP that saw Hamilton get back on the top step of the podium after 56 races, which would make 2 yrs, and 7 months. Changeable conditions and thrilling race moves is always what Silverstone produces ! Gutted for Russell who had scored pole for Mercedes who were 1-2 in qualifying showing just how much speed and pace thier car has now acquired, but only to retired mid race with a suspected water pump issue. Another pretty miserable race for Ferrari especially on the Lecric garage. McLaren especially Norris were gutted not to get the win after a strong performance by them and Piastri. Strong drive from Max & RB !! 🎙️https://twitter.com/TF1podcast1?t=JGSaBuoW15_Mx45SNP9oUQ&s=08!
A Sprint race weekend in Austria that brought about absolute fireworks , when a fast Lando collided with Max on Lap 64 of the race. Lando was poised to take the lead, and this brought shades of Max's aggressive driving of winning at all cost that we hadn't seen in over 2 years. That collusion unfortunately ended Lando's race, and stopped Max's win to give Mercedes and Russell a very well deserved 1st win of the season ! 🎙️https://twitter.com/TF1podcast1?t=JGSaBuoW15_Mx45SNP9oUQ&s=08!
Another thrilling race weekend so Norris and Mclaren grab a thrilling pole ! The race was exciting further cementing how far Mercedes have come with a superb start from Russell in the 1st corner. In the end it was old reliable Max & RB who were able to manage to take victory. Norris and Mclaren were unhappy as they believed they could have taken victory even though they had a real good weekend in 2nd. Hamilton had a fantastic weekend where he ended up on the podium in 3rd, after a strong performance all weekend. Ferrari had another tough outing coming in 5th and 6th ! There seemed to be a bit of tension between the 2 drivers as well.🎙️https://twitter.com/TF1podcast1?t=JGSaBuoW15_Mx45SNP9oUQ&s=08!
Canada gave us one of the most entertaining races we have seen in quite a while which had mixed conditions playing havoc, Max winning a thriller ! We saw a weekend were Mercedes seemed to be finally back with a great performance and pole from Russell !! 🎙️https://twitter.com/TF1podcast1?t=JGSaBuoW15_Mx45SNP9oUQ&s=08!
A weekend for Charles Lecric and Ferrari to take a home victory in great fashion dominating all weekend. By contrast not a good weekend for Max and RB , and a disastrous one for Sergio who was taken out by a rogue K.Mag from Haas in a very scary crash ! 🎙️https://twitter.com/TF1podcast1?t=JGSaBuoW15_Mx45SNP9oUQ&s=08!
An Imola GP that was for the most part dull unfortunately, until the last few laps of the race that was thrilling seeing Norris chase down Max.Max was able to hold on to victory in the end. It was significant though McLaren now seem to be legitimately packing strong race pace that can at least get close to and challenge RedBull ! 🎙️https://twitter.com/TF1podcast1?t=JGSaBuoW15_Mx45SNP9oUQ&s=08!
We were treated to an epic weekend in Miami where Lando in a heavily upgraded McLaren secured his 1st deserved win in F1. Even this Max secure a sprint , and Quali front row it was never a comfortable weekend for him, and the car all weekend long ! 🎙️https://twitter.com/TF1podcast1?t=JGSaBuoW15_Mx45SNP9oUQ&s=08!

F1 is back in China after a 5 year Hiatus and the track certainly delivered, with the addition of the first sprint race of the year. Warm reception for hometown driver Zhou. Max & RB were in imperious form as usual. Greta performance from Lewis in the Sprint race. McLaren and Norris had a very strong weekend bagging a podium 2nd position. 🎙️https://twitter.com/TF1podcast1?t=JGSaBuoW15_Mx45SNP9oUQ&s=08!
Another Red Bull domination with a 1-2 from Max and Perez. Ricardo had another miserable race with a race crash on the 1st lap. A solid race from Sainz for Ferrari who is in excellent form. 🎙️https://twitter.com/TF1podcast1?t=JGSaBuoW15_Mx45SNP9oUQ&s=08!
This Australian GP was a wild weekend which saw Max & his RB retire from a race with Mechanical issues for the first time in 2 years ! This gave a great opportunity for Ferrari and specifically Carlos Sainz who had a brilliant weekend scoring a victory just 9 days after having surgery. It also boosted the team to a 1-2 finish for the first time since 2022. Mercedes in contrast had an absolutely miserable weekend with Lewis having a really rare engine failure, and Russell experiencing a crash on the last lap caused by Alonso brake testing him. Alonso would later be found guilty by the stewards and given a penalty that dropped him to 8th position. Most people have voiced there needed to be a more strict punishment on Alonso. 🎙️https://twitter.com/TF1podcast1?t=JGSaBuoW15_Mx45SNP9oUQ&s=08!
Another dominating weekend for Max & RB with another 1-2 victory. But the main story of the weekend was Ferrari stand in rookie Oliver Bearman who on sudden notice with Carlos Sainz surgery came in to replace him in Jeddah. The young rookie impressed with a superb faultless drive to come in 7th, but more importantly to raise everyones eyes to his talent. I have no doubt he will be on the grid next year ! The drama off track from RedBull shows no signs of stopping as now Helmut Marko is embroiled in some major controversy. Listen on who he's biggest supporter in the team is. 🎙️https://twitter.com/TF1podcast1?t=JGSaBuoW15_Mx45SNP9oUQ&s=08!
1st race of the season in a continuation of last year was dominated by Max, and his wonderful race car to win convincingly. In an unprecedant explosive allegation the FIA launched a fague statement saying they are looking into an improper info exchange between Toto and Susie Wolff. Less than 24 hours later F1 itself, and all the teams came out to issue a joint statement that none of them ever went to the FIA as the complaint has alleged. This seems to indicate the leader of the FIA Ben Sulayem directly, and will be a water shed moment for the sport on how they deal with this problem. A record breaking year for Max Verstappen & Red Bull which saw them win 19 out of 22 victories, and 3 🏆 Championships . Exciting race at the front even though Max won. A fierce battle between Charles and Russell finally secured P2 for Mercedes in the Championship over Ferrari in a tough year for both teams !Twitter page 🎙️:https://twitter.com/TF1Podcast1?t=JGSaBUoWI5_Mx45SNP9oUQ&s=08!
The inaugural highly anticipated Vegas Gp started off badly as a undone meanwhile cover caused significant damage to Carlos Ferrari. Outside of that fans were treated badly after being booted from an FP2 session only to be offered voucher tickets afterwards not even a refund which reflected badly on the F1 organizers. Thankfully after that we were treated to some brilliant racing that saw Charles of Ferrari battle it out with Max. In the end it was a thrilling record win for Max, but you can say without a doubt the driver of the day, and the weekend was Leclerc !!Twitter page 🎙️:https://twitter.com/TF1Podcast1?t=JGSaBUoWI5_Mx45SNP9oUQ&s=08!

A Brazilian GP Review that saw anither record extending 17th victory for Max, but the highlight was a magnificent performance from Alonso with his battle with Perez for 3rd. It provided an exciting photo finish, and a brilliant piece of racing for both. It was a weekend to forget for Merc ! Twitter page 🎙️:https://twitter.com/TF1Podcast1?t=JGSaBUoWI5_Mx45SNP9oUQ&s=08!
Another brilliant performance from Max to seal a record 16th victory. A disastrous race for Perez who crashed out Infront of his home crowd on the 1st lap. A great drive from Hamilton to secure second, and master class drive from Norris for McLaren to come from all the way back 17th to finish 5th. A record 50th win for Max, on a tough weekend where we was pushed my Mercedes and Hamilton, and Ferrari. The sprint format US GP was overshadowed by the shock Disqualification of Lewis and Charles Lecriec because of the Plank depth on their cars causing them both especially Lewis to lose some crucial points
Max Verstappen seals his third Championship during a sprint shootout on a Saturday caping an amazing season he is having !! McLaren came on strong with a double podium finish, while Mercedes could have a had a great weekend, had it not be for a 1st lap collusion that Lews Hamilton took responsibility for that took him out of the race.Twitter page 🎙️:https://twitter.com/TF1Podcast1?t=JGSaBUoWI5_Mx45SNP9oUQ&s=08!
A constructors Championship weekend for Redbull dominate in the hands of Max, while his teammate had a horrible weekend. A resurgent McLaren finished 2nd and 3rd highlighting just how far they have come. A solid race from the Ferraris, and the Merc boys who had a real tough battle among each other. Twitter page 🎙️:https://twitter.com/TF1Podcast1?t=JGSaBUoWI5_Mx45SNP9oUQ&s=08!
An amazing weekend of Racing that saw Carlos Sainz score a victory to Ferrari , finally having a non Red Bull non Max podium. This weekend proves to be the toughest for the RB outfit who could not even come out of Quali Q3, and they had diaster on their hands. Mercedes has a very well suited car especially with Russell qualifying second , and Hamilton as well. They had a fantastic strategy and in the closing laps had fresh tire, but unfortunately Russell on the last lap ended up hitting the barriers in an unfortunate ending while Hamilton came in the third.Twitter page 🎙️:https://twitter.com/TF1Podcast1?t=JGSaBUoWI5_Mx45SNP9oUQ&s=08!
We are back in Monza in Ferraris back yard. Even though this was a record breaking 10 in a row race for Max & RB, the headline was the fantastic performance for Ferrari & Carlos Sainz and the hard racing between him and his teammate Charles Lecric. A chaotic race won by Max and Red Bull, but the main controversial topic were the Red Flags applied by the FIA, and some of penalties that were applied. This was also a fantastic turnaround for Merc who qualified 2 and 3rd, and were also on course for two podium finishes, until Russell unfortunately had a rare engine issue that resulted in a DNF. Another race to forget for Ferrari who had Charles eliminated on the 1st lap, but a strong drive for Sainz who then received a 5 sec penality that really upset him.
Another race under the books that saw Red Bull finish 1 & 2 with Max driving from P15 to second. It wasn't without drama as we would discover in the podcast. Good recovery drive for Merc and Russell collecting good point. Alonso has a brilliant day in 3rsld, and was momentarily stripped of 3rd with a 10 sec peanlity that in the end got reversed back to give him back his 3rd finish. A record breaking weekend for Max, who secured a historic 14 the win in Mexico. We finally heard the punishment for the cost cap breach accpeted by Red Bull. A punishment of 6 Million pounds, and a 10% cut in Aero testing, that made a lot of teams in the paddock unhappy feeling like it was a weak punishment. This weekend showed Mercedes in a strong position challenging RB, as Ferrari foundered this weekend. Also a strong drive from the driver of the day Riccardo !

A weekend of heavy emotions as news broke of the founder of RB racing Dieter Mateschitz passing away, on a historic weekend where Max got a hard fought victory ! The cost Cap cheating cloud hangs very heavily over RB and F1 , and we will see what punishment comes by next race. A rained out Suzuka track gave us drama, and a new world champion in Max Verstappen. There was a scary incident on the track, with a crane deployed while Gasly was in close proximity, which was erriely reminiscent of what could have tragically happened in the sad passing of Jules 8 yrs ago. The FIA needs to investigate and do better. The Cost Cap breaking news was also released showing the RedBull have been found in breach of the rules.

A crazy Singapore GP that had rain & mixed conditions which threw everything at the driver's. Perez the street circuit specialist managed to get the win. A messy day for Max in the RB, and tough day for Mercedes which had Hamilton make a mistake, and Russell was bogged down the order because of poor Quali. A strong weekend for McLaren with a good recovery, on a day their close rivals Alpine had a double retirement on a very tough day for them ! There is also a tough battle brewing over cost Cap for the teams with RB apparently exceeding the cap !

In front of the Italian Tifosi in hand to always show support for the prancing horse , it was Max & RB that pulled the heist yet again to provide another victory in what is seeming to be a historic year for Max. It was a valiant effort from Carlos and Hamilton who worked thier from the back of the grid to finish 4th and 5th respectifully. Stand in Nyck De Vries who was called into the Williams last minute because of an Albon sickness, had an amazing debut in F1 to finish in the points in P9 ! The safety car finish at the end with 3 laps left at the end could have been better handled by the FIA, and was really anticlimactic ! Hopefully that changes soon

We had an exciting Spanish Grand Prix that has Ferrari & Lecric getting ready to take a sure victory until an engine gremlin struck out of nowhere and retired him. That handed RB and Max a victory that was mired in controversy, as team orders were employed to take victory from Checko, who was really unhappy. Mercedes had brought major upgrades to their car, and that paid dividends and clearly moved them to the front of the grid, close to Ferrari and RB's pace. We saw brilliant driving and defense from Russell who had great battles with Max, and Hamilton who had a 1st lap incident that caused him a tire puncture fought a very valiant battle from the back all the way to finish 5th. If it had not been for that tangle with Magnessen who knows where Hamilton could have finished.
