When Lonene Ray Rogers vanished on the night of a blizzard warning, it's not long before her entire family suspects that something is very wrong. Lonnie's daughter Alison was only 5 years old at the time her mother disappeared, and she would go on to grow into adulthood without her mother. Christopher Tapp was interviewed on our podcast in our first ever episode. He was wrongfully convicted for the murder of Angie Dodge back in 1996. After spending half of his life in prison, he was released at 40 years old. Only 7 years later, Chris Tapp's death on November 5th 2023 is now being investigated as a homicide. Chris Tapp suffered blunt force trauma to his head resulting in his death. This is a tribute to him and we will keep updating his case as new developments are made.
When Jack Kowalski takes his daughter Maya into the emergency room, their family never expected the terror that would be perpetrated onto their family. Beata Kowalski fought tooth and nail for her daughter Maya Kowalski, but in the end, the family would suffer a major loss.

When the body of a woman was discovered in 1989, no one expected that she would go unnamed for almost 34 years. The Lincoln County Jane Doe was laid to rest nameless in Mississippi. Although her murderer, Alfred Ray Case, was convicted of the crime, the case remained incomplete. Finally in 2023, Othram's Laboratory in Texas was able to create a DNA profile and use genetic genealogy to track down Jane Doe's family line. More than 3 decades after her murder, the Lincoln County Jane Doe was finally given her name back. She is Melinda Lou Barnhouse.
In 2002, 7 year old Alexis Patterson was suppose to be sitting in her 1st grade class.. but on May 3rd she never makes it inside her school located in Milwaukee. Many hours pass by before her parents even realize she's been missing. The search was intense.. at first, but things soon fizzled out and Alexis Patterson's case goes cold. Theories surrounding her step dad, LaRon Bourgeois & serial killer, Israel Keyes have been rumored, but nothing in this case has been proven. The case of missing Alexis Patterson remains unsolved to this day.

Nancy Vega is on a mission to seek justice for her brother, Adolfo, who was tragically killed in 2022. He would be his mother's second son to be killed. The loss already felt tremendous but when the California City Police victim blame Adolfo, it's a huge punch to the gut. We are breaking down the arrest affidavit as we read through it and discuss key points that led to the arrest of Bryan Kohberger. Bryan was arrested in Pennsylvania and shortly after waived an extradition hearing before being extradited back to Idaho. Following his initial hearing in Latah County, the arrest affidavit was released. There are some shocking revelations that were unexpected. Please keep the victims families in your thoughts, because they also had to learn of this information alongside the public. Bryan Kohberger of Pullman, Washington has been charged with 1 count of burglary and 4 counts of 1st degree murder of Xana Kernodle, Ethan Chapin, Madison Mogen, and Kaylee Goncalves. The quadruple homicide was committed in Moscow, Idaho.
Bryan Kohberger has been arrested today (December 30th 2022) in Albright, Pennsylvania. This arrest comes in relation to the quadruple homicide in Moscow Idaho where four University of Idaho students were stabbed to death. These students were Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle, and Ethan Chapin. A criminal complaint was filed in Latah county yesterday (December 29th 2022) charging Bryan with 4 counts of 1st degree murder and a burglary charge.

In this episode I sit down with Travis Meyers, a retired NYPD detective and co-author of the Tommy Keanue Detective Series. We dive into his real life experience as a detective working in The Bronx. After introductions, we start with series of murders committed by young teenagers. From there, we talk about a crime committed within the Foster Care System. This was a crime committed by children, perpetrated onto other children. On November 13th 2022, four students were stabbed while they slept at their home near the University of Idaho in Moscow, Idaho. Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle, & Ethan Chapin are the victims of the heinous Idaho murders that have rocked the entire state. Being from Idaho, I have felt drawn to this case. There has not been one day that has gone by where I haven't thought of these 4. With such an unusual case for the small town of Moscow, the case has received an incredible amount of attention. With that, rumors have flown. So I came here to put all of the information police have released into one spot. I will be covering the case updates on this case and following through. Stephanie Eldredge goes missing from her Idaho Falls, Idaho home on August 20th 2007. The circumstances were immediately suspicious considering what was left behind. The Idaho Falls Police Department hone in on a 'person of interest' quickly, but Stephanie's case remains unsolved for the next 12 years, before an arrest is finally made in 2019.

The trials in Valais, Switzerland sparked a fear of "witches" that spreads across Europe, leaving a trail of mass murder and destruction of innocent people. Jerry James Everett was murdered inside a Missouri Jail by a fellow inmate, incarcerated for one of the most evil reasons. His attacker was Patrick Trimble, a man arrested for the rape and sexual assault of two 9 year old girls. Ultimately Patrick is convicted of Jerry's murder as well. He tortured Jerry, a man who suffered with mental disability. Many years after these convictions, Patrick decides to become Patricia Trimble. Instead of being remembered for the horrific acts perpetrated onto multiple victims, Patricia is now an advocate for transgendered inmates, an author, and a transgender woman given praise in multiple publications for her bravery in speaking up. Did the world just forget about the crimes Trimble committed? Maybe.. but I just learned about these crimes, and I'm here to expose them because a child rapist and convicted murderer never deserves praise in my book.
I believe the lgbtq+ community deserves to know the reasons behind Patricia's incarceration, as none of the publications mention it. With this information, they can stand up against a predator being their advocate. This isn't someone you want speaking out on behalf of your movement. This is a monster who took Jerry's life and the innocence of two little girls.

It's during the year 1979 that former Patrick Trimble, now Patricia Trimble, brutally attacks 3 people and changes the course of their lives forever. Although Trimble is originally sentenced to death for the crimes, that has been lowered to a life sentence, and 30 years later Trimble becomes a self described author, feminist, activist, and advocate.. but did the world just forget about the crimes Trimble committed? Maybe.. but I just learned about these crimes, and I'm here to expose them because a child rapist and convicted murderer never deserves praise or privilege in my book.

I have never heard of a sentence so low for a parent who abuses their child to death. Ashtonn was only 3 months old when he was killed by his dad Dillon. Jefferson County here in Idaho handed down an outrageously low sentence that is a slap in the face to baby Ashtonn's life. This gross justice system has to be exposed when it does wrong... and I am infuriated about the lack of care for a baby with no voice in this case.

A 70 year old cold case out of Minneapolis is reopened by 2 detectives who lived near the Klein family in their later years... This prompted Author Jack El-Hai to write about this case with the help of the Klein family who he had already been in touch with for many years after coming across an ad in the newspaper where parents were urging the public to help them with information in the disappearance of their 3 sons. This ad was ran in the 90's.. 40 years after the Klein brothers went missing from a park. The grit and determination of this family intrigued Jack, and pushed him to reach out. Through their contact, Jack and the Klein family grew an incredible bond of trust, leading Jack to tell the story of Kenneth, David, and Danny while also bringing light to the way a crime has ripple effects throughout a family.
When Tameka goes missing in 2010, the situation is clearly strange.. yet there is no outpouring of support from the community, Tameka's case isn't spread far and wide... now 12 years down the road, we question if there was ever even a proper investigation done. This young mother of 2 deserved so much more in her story... she deserved to be seen and for all of us to fight for the answers to her disappearance that seem so close to our grasp.

Both Lauren Smith Fields & Brenda Rawls lived in Bridgeport, Connecticut when they were found dead on December 12th 2021. What connects their stories is that the Bridgeport Police Department didn't notify either of their families about their untimely deaths... Both families had to go looking for their loved one only to find out that days earlier, police had already discovered each of them dead.
