The podcast in which we hope that if we talk to smart people for long enough, we might eventually say something intelligent. Our format will be a series of open ended conversations with people who do interesting things and hopefully have something interesting to say.
A conversation about Nomad with Anna Carrol and Aron Fischer
Nomad (nomad.xyz / @nomadxyz_) is a cross-chain messaging protocol. Unlike token bridges, it is designed to relay arbitrary messages between chains. It enables the development of natively cross-chain applications, i.e. apps that live on multiple blockchains simultaneously, seamlessly and securely moving data between them.
To better understand the vision, and the design principles that underpin the system, I sat down with Anna Carrol - protocol lead at Nomad - for a deep dive into the tech.
