Hearts Across The Waters

Masake Kane and Anab Whitehouse

10 Episodes

Two individuals -- one from Senegal (Masake Kane) and one from the United States (Anab Whitehouse) -- join together to explore an array of philosophical, educational, political, economic, medical, cultural, technological, scientific, and spiritual issues from their respective perspectives. While both individuals are Muslim and, therefore, such a spiritual orientation helps shape their ways of engaging life, nonetheless, the tenor of the podcasts will be to focus on topical issues through a process of critically reflective inquiry (by the two co-hosts along with thoughts and insights from occasional guests) which seeks to highlight a variety of conceptual themes that might be of potential value, as well as to raise relevant questions that could serve as food for thought, among members of the listening audience.
