Let's talk transitional cell phones for when you aren't quite ready to give your tween full access to the world but want to compromise. I want to talk about Pinwheel. According to their own site Pinwheel is a phone that allows kids to use a smartphone but "Pinwheel's remote management system gives you tools to limit their choices to things they are ready to handle. Let them grow up a little more slowly. " I don't know about yall but I like that. It suits my parenting style while also recognizing that technology doesn't have to be scary or dismal.. and my daughter can learn how to use a phone for more than social media or selfies.
