To conclude my Halloween mini series, I am joined by fellow film buff and good friend Connor Armstrong (@connorarmfilms on IG) discuss our love for the iconic film franchise “Halloween.”
A huge part of Halloween is costumes. Stereotypically men are not down for costumes and dressing up. Here’s my opposition and my thoughts on why costumes are a fun and creative way to get into the Halloween spirit. And.... is it an excuse to be “sexy?” Why do women feel the need to have sexy in front of all costume ideas also why are men’s sexy costumes often shirtless? Are costumes sexist and objectifying?? Are costumes more than just fabric? Is there an underlying reason why people chose what they chose for their “ Halloween costumes?”
