Today, we are focusing on "if". It is important for us as people of God the creator of all things and servants of the Lord Jesus Christ his son that we do not allow ourselves to get caught up in the permissible culture that society is trying to impose upon us. Everyone wants to feel as though they are right all the time. Preachers have turned God's grace into lasciviousness, by making people feel as though Jesus died so that they could sin or continue in sin without repentance. We must not be deceived. We must continue to hold fast to the true words of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, because God is not for everybody, and payday is coming after while.

Matthew 7:25 - 27
It is important that our principals and faith remain unchanged as the world changes. We must hold fast to the profession of our faith and make sure that we don't take up with conformist and conformist principles, but rather remain sure always abiding in the Rock which is Jesus Christ. We are putting ourselves in the light and checking our foundation to ensure we are built upon the solid rock.

Endurance is the key to maintaining our salvation and walk with Christ. We will look to explore the definition according to Merriam-Webster and how well that lines up with God's word according to the King James Version.

We must stand on Gods word and his promises. We cannot continue our walk in faith and in Christ without holding fast to his word. We must endure. We must not give up. We must hold fast to that which is good-Christ and his word.

Defying Gravity is all about denying our flesh the satisfaction, consent, and justification to act poorly and behave un-righteously. The word of God assures us that with every temptation God provides a way of escape. So, why do we still fall into the snare, the trap, the pitfall? If you are as honest with yourself as I am with me, it could possibly be simply because you wanted to. All sin is not repulsive to us. If it were it would be easier to deny ourselves and follow Christ consistently. Satan is insidious and the flesh is like an infant always wanting never content and apt to tantrums when told no. Salvation is free, but maintenance takes work. Defying Gravity is about allowing God to will you to do his will when it is not comfortable or popular. Defying Gravity is about denying the flesh. It is about igniting your faith walking with God and being obedient to God and his word instead of your own carnal will.

Poems read for Poetry Slam Tuesday (PST) are always originally written and provided by Sis. Antoinette Perry. Ms. Perry is one of God's truest creators. Often describe her as tree because she gives so much to others and often gets nothing in return. The creative gift God has give her has no bounds. She is responsible for projects that have brought wealth and sustainability to business and companies locally and globally. Creator of the Automatic blind spotter and the breakfast pastry that made millions and saved a local Jacks franchise. While the owners of the businesses / company have profited and left her with nothing she continues forge ahead. A waiting the day she is able to reap a bountiful harvest from the gifts God has given her. This is just the tip of her testimony. She is an inspiration and symbol of faith and strength!!

God wants his children to get in order. I believe miracles, signs, wonders, and so much more are still happening now in the lives of true men and women of God who are not only operating in their God given gifts, but also in Gods divine order. God is still a God of order. He does not change.

Now is not the time for giving up. It is the time for moving forward. No matter what happens today or tomorrow, we much keep moving forward. We cannot allow anything to controls us or stop us for moving closer to our goals and aspirations. We cannot allow anything to imprison us and stop us from enjoying the liberty that God has given us. We must put fear in its place and keep moving forward, because life goes on whether we are there when it happens or not.

Today, we are encouraging ourselves to remain confident in God and in his word. To remain confident in his ability to open doors and provide for us no matter what is happening in our lives and no matter how long it may take. Let patience have her perfect work. Identifying fear(s) and it's devices so that we can overcome them. We will not allow fear to keep us from loving ourselves, God, or his people. Faith is the antidote. Love is the key.

It is so important for us to be aware of the traps that the enemy sets before as each day. And traps don't always look like traps. Sometimes there just sifters. People places things that come to slowly take our virtues away and disconnect us from our savior and from our families. We're learning to be aware and beware of sifters

We have a tendency to look at people outwardly and assume that we understand them that we get them but this is so far from the truth. And we've even experienced being on the opposite side being the person looked on and people assuming things. Like, we've got it all together we don't need help, at any time ever. People assume they can just take and take and take from our wells and they will automatically fill themselves.
