These two interview a local resident and Photographer, Stuart Gow, who recently had a remarkable photography exhibit that highlighted North Sacramento called "I Wish You Would Love Me Again" at Neverboard Gallery on Del Paso Boulevard. The photographs were all stunning and conversation starters because they were beautiful images of the blight and neglect that can be found on the streets in our District Two. Listen as these 3 talk about how the visual imagery was a catalyst for bringing residents together to talk about important issues. Stuart shares about his photo book, the mural on Thrift Town, and his next show he intends to do for Photography Month in April 2025 in Sacramento.

Having Thursday Night Trivia at King Cong Brewery on the Boulevard ever since April 2018 has helped the Brewery to thrive on Thursday Nights. It gained so much popularity that it eventually grew to Tuesdays AND Thursday nights! We learn a little about the history of North Sacramento and these two iconic restaurants that have been here since the 1940’s. Naz Begum has been working at Lil’ Joe’s with the owner John Fiero and finally is making her 20 year dream come true by opening Sammy’s as her own restaurant. John and Naz are collaborative & supportive of both restaurants on the Boulevard because there are plenty of people to fill both restaurants and help the Blvd thrive!
