I like playing a bit prcussive on the Handpan too since it is a perfect instrument to mix percussion with melody!

in this summer day a few weeks ago I wanted to play some Handpan at the Rhine River, close to where i live. Suddenly a strong wind came up, as you can see. π

In summer went to this 'Green Oasis' close to where I live and recorded this improvised Handpan song. ππ½π³π
If you listen closely you can hear the crow in the background singing with me or just feeling disturbed. I don't know exactely π
This Handpan πΈ is a E Kurd scale
For the best sound I recommend listening with headphones.

I am very happy to present my 1st single "Equinox to all of you!
It is my first song that I released on Spotify an co.
I tried to combine different genres with several instruments such as handpan, guitar, drums, bass and synthesizer.

Hello everyone!
I'm excited to share my first Lo-Fi Handpan song with you all! It's a first demo video of a song that I am working on. π§πΈ
For those who may not be familiar, Handpan Lo-Fi music combines the soothing sounds of handpan with chill beats, creating a relaxing and meditative experience for the listener.
Together with @Ravenmus1c I will work on this and more songs that combine Lo-Fi and Handpan and we hope that we can present a whole album one day.
So stay tuned for more Lo-Fi Handpan music from us in the future!

Hello dear Hive Open Mic Community,
this week I could finally make a new Open Mic entry to this weeks topic. β€οΈ
I listened to some of all your other entries and then grabbed my Handpan and recorded this video. πΈ
You probably see all the white stickers on my Handpan... π΅ I put them on and wrote the notes on it. Mostly I just play Handpan alone and totally by ear. I know which notes sound good together. But when I play with outher people I have to know which notes are where and which chords I can play on the Handpan. I want to learn a bit more about music theory and harmonies, so with these stickers I can immediately figure out which notes are in which chord. It looks a bit funny but helps me understanding the harmonies better :D

Hello everyone,
this video was shot in summer when I was in the famous Black Forest in Germany. π³π²
The region is very green, has beautiful meadows and forest and is full of mystical locations.
I brought my Handpan πΈ with me and shortly before sunset I recorded a little bit of my playing outdoors.
It was a very peaceful location with only some bird and wind sound around. ππ¦

Wohoo, my new video! π₯³
I recorded this chord progression on my HandpanπΈ and thought that it needs more instruments π
So I added a 12-string guitar, djembe, electric guitar, shaker and some cymbals.
I recorded everything separate with a metronome and edited it all together with Adobe Premiere.
I thought the blue wall alone is a bit boring background so I animated a few leaves in the video with the program After Effects. πΏβ¨π±

I experimented with a cool upbeat groove on my loopstation and played a melody and a guitar solo on it. I tried some tapping in the guitar solo but to make it more interesting I wanna prcatice this more.
I really like the positive mood of this rhythm and I might want to make a whole song out of it.

This is a new rhythm and melody I created on my Handpan. π΅
My favourite thing about this instrument is that you can combine drumming with your hands and fingers and playing melodies at the same time. It sound beautiful when you play it slow and soft but also fast with more rhythm and percussion sounds.

It was such a beautiful Festival with such good vibes, beautiful art, music and sun. I brought my Handpan πΈ and my friend her guitar πΈ and so we had some great jams on the camp ground.

On this sunny and windy day I was in Nuremberg in Bavaria/Germany and sat down in the park.
I just played a bit on my handpan, which is great in nature and came up with this melody.

πΊ I'm a big fan of the Netflix series "Better Call Saul". Now the final season is coming out and I made my own version of the intro.
π΅ I looped the backing track with a Hi-Hat, a backing guitar and a beatbox Kick Drum. After I built the backing track I added a slightly distorted lead guitar.
πΌ The videos are modified with Effects to get the typical Better Call Saul intro look. Also I put a video overlay of an old TV over the videos to make it look really old. At the end I added the Logo and changed the text to "Better loop Saul". At the end I created the credits.
The Video modification I made with the program After Effects from Adobe.

Hello Open Mic community,
I wasn't very active the last weeks on Hive and open mic. I had a lot to do but I finally found the time this weekend to record this special song.
I dedicate it to the topic of last week (which I unfortunately missed) but it fits just so perfect:
"Tocando Almas" - "Touching Souls" because this is exactly what I feel this week. I got married a few days ago and this song was in my head the whole week. I couldn't describe it better than with the word touching souls β€οΈ
I think it feels exactly like that when two people love each other ... that their souls are touching.

Finally I came together with Nina to make some music. We played together in a band and didn't meet in a while but now we had a fun day and played together.
We didnt really plan on playing this song but I played something on the handpan to show her the instrument and she said "that sounds a bit like the song waves".
And so we practiced a few minutes and recorded this cover.
π΅ So here is it: "Waves" by Mr. Probz in a new style with Handpan and Ninas great voice!

Hey dear Open Mic Community! I'm glad that I found the time today to record a submission for this weeks Open Mic π I called it "Lost in Loop" fitting to this weeks topic.
I didn't had a fixed idea on what to play and was improvising through the song.
With a loop pedal you can just let your ideas loose and see where it leads you.

I'm glad to upload my Live looping video for this weeks Hive Open Mic!
It was fun to make the video and to put the melodies together and to improvise with the handpan. The handpan could be a bit louder, next time I'll turn up the volume more :)
β€οΈ The topic is love of my life, I altered it a bit and named it Love for Life which fits better for to the melodie.

This is the first loop I recorded with my two friends Steffi @ravenmus1c und Anika.
We started with a cool beat played on the Drum Pads and on the Bongos and then went on with a little Guitar line, Jaw Harp, singing and some improvistation at the end.

I went out in the beautiful snowy forest to shoot a handpan video. That's what came out. :) I played this improvised song on a B Amara Handpan from MAG Instruments.
It's a total different feeling to play outside in nature than inside. Especially in snow, the sound travels very different and gets absorbed by the snow. π΅

For this weeks Open Mic I met with my old and loyal friends Anika and @ravenmus1c. We are friends but the three of us never made a live music video together. Also I mostly don't sing in my Videos but together with them I feel more confident and encouraged to sing together. It was super fun! I hope you enjoy :)

On my new Open Mic entrance I tried a new lighting in my room. I think it looks quite good with just some unprofeesional lights and a cool space projector.
