The Royal Ulster Constabulary GC Foundation was established by virtue of the Police (Northern Ireland) Act 2000 for the purpose of "marking the sacrifice and honouring the achievements of the Royal Ulster Constabulary". 2022 marks the centenary of policing in Northern Ireland. These podcasts share experiences and memories of policing from those who served and their families and the wider police family.
In our latest podcast to mark the centenary of policing, we talk to retired Chief Superintendent Maggie Hunter QPM. She was an RUC Superintendent at the age of 37 and her vast experience saw her serve in different capacities including District Commander in west Belfast and Special Branch. She’s in conversation with Ray Hayden.
