Bradford Hate Crime Alliance exists to support the victims of hate crime and to co-ordinate the network of reporting centres that work with us. Reporting hate crime is essential, but education is the key and our new podcast aims to raise awareness of hate crime through the sharing of lived experience as well as providing a forum to have the difficult conversations that need to be had about the issues that lie at the heart of hate crime in 21st Century Britain.

As the DWP National Diversity Ambassador on Trans issues, Saorsa Tweedale is ideally placed to discuss the challenges facing the Trans community in today's society. The realities of the lived experiences of the Trans community are heartbreaking and shocking in equal measure. There was so much to get through I have decided to separate this interview into two parts. Part two will follow next week. I can't thank Saorsa enough for her willingness to speak out. This is a difficult conversation that needs to be heard.
Daniel works tirelessly on behalf of the Roma community in Bradford and recently they became our latest reporting centre. Here he shares this experiences of growing up in Bradford, the discrimination he has faced and how this motivates him in his work.
