Looking at the world today from a biblical perspective through the eyes of a common man. Discussing the condition of the Christian church and it's calling of being the legal representative of the kingdom of God in this world. Answering the following questions: 1. Why this passage? 2. Importance of the breach? 3. Where does God fit into our society? 4. What value does the bible hold? 5. God of today vs. God of the bible? 6. Where is God in your/my life?
In the beginning was the Word and in Him was life and the life was the light of men.
The Word (Jesus Christ) was with God from the beginning of eternity and was a real personality not a thought or an idea. He was the source of all creation. He was the Word that expressed Gods power. Nothing was created unless it came by the Word of God.
"In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God." John 1:1
John starts his gospel with an evangelistic theme; "But these have been written (signs and wonders of Jesus) so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you may have life in His name."
The crowd cried out "crucify Him;" He prayed," Father forgive them." I'd never know such agony; I'd known such loss. I'd never known such love in any other eyes.
Yet He loved them.
Behold the Lamb that taketh away the sins of the world.
How about you? Are you a doer of the word or just a hearer. Is reading the word just something to check of the list of things to do, or is it an experience with God? We have a choice of building on the rock or sandy beach. I don't want to be like the guy that looked in the mirror and walked away and forgot what he looked like, I want to walk in the power of the word of God and be able to stand on the rock in times of the stormy Gail.
Nebuchadnezzar said bow to my god or die. Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego refused to bow because they trusted their God to rescue them. Then they said the most powerful statement of trust and faith; "But even if He does not." It was okay if God did not save them, they would not bow to another God. There was no, why me Lord, why didn't you answer my prayer. They were prepared to trust the Lord, no matter what.
How about you who do you trust?
In the nineteen sixties we stopped worrying about what the Lord thought and started to lust after the things of the world. It may be the lusting after the world of culture, education, science, or even religion. In this world we created we made no room for God or His Son. A world where the name of Christ is no longer welcomed and even forbidden except as an empty formality. We allowed the gods of ancient days to breach the defensive walls and possess the land that God and our fathers gave to us. Come Lord Jesus and forgive us.
We are going on a journey to understand how my America that I knew for nearly sixty or seventy years has all of a sudden turned to a country I don't recognize. This is not a journey in a car in the material world which we can see, but a journey into a world that is no less real and even more important, one that has long term consequences.
We are going to travel into the heavenlies, into God's realm, the spirit world which has eternal consequences. Gaining knowledge "of the mysteries behind our world, a journey of nearly three thousand years." Our tour guide will be Rabbi Jonathan Cahn thru two of his books, The Paradigm and The Return of the Gods.
Hold on this will be quite a life changing experience.
Paul says, "it is not I but sin that is in me." If we say that we have no sin, then we make God out to be a liar and the truth is not in us. In order to be set free and know the truth in Christ we must confess our sins unto the Lord with a pure honest heart. You deceive yourself if you think you are hiding anything from God. Psalm 32:2 & 5: 2"How blessed is the man to whom the Lord does not impute iniquity, and in whose spirit is no deceit, 5 I acknowledged my sin to You, and my iniquity I did not hide; I said, "I will confess my transgressions to the Lord "; and you forgave the quilt of my sin. "
How have we gone from a Christian nation to one who celebrates paganism? If we eliminate God from our culture, we are left with nothing but our own truth, and chaos ensues when there is nothing but individual truths. We find ourselves overriding God's laws and His morality for our own. God was once known to be immutable now each of thinks we are.
Why is America falling apart at the seams? What has happened to this great land of hope and blessings? Who is working to destroy what we have been blessed with for hundreds of years? Can it be stopped and reversed, or have we gone too far and are we facing judgement?
We will be looking into the writings of Rabbi Jonathan Chan for possible answers. Looking forward to sharing with you.
How much space does greed occupy in your life? What does it look like? Is it only finances and material things? How does it influence and interfere with your relationship with God? How does it affect your blessings from God? Join me as I answer these questions for my life.
Democracy will cease to exist when you take from those who are willing to work and give to those who are not. Remove the belief in God from the schools and government and convince the people that government knows best for their lives.
A gift for all! It matters not if you believe, the gift still exists. The gift comes from and depends on Immanuel's heart and this how we escape by understanding this great salvation!
Part of being a citizen of any nation is agreeing with the expressed values of that nation. In the Kingdom of Heaven, the most important value is obedience to the will of the King.
If we see or hear only a small part of the whole, we will misunderstand and draw an incorrect conclusion. If we do not properly discern intent, misunderstanding will follow. Religion, at best, is humankind's beast guess at God's original intent.
What category do you fall under? Are you naive or complacent, are you willing to receive the reproof of the Lord? Are you willing to stand up against the evils of today and defend the sovereignty of the country God blessed us with. Will God hear when you call?
What price disobedience? Is it being left out of a promise? Is it immediate death? Is it being bitten by venomous snakes.
What are we more interested in the benefits of the Kingdom of Heaven or the fact that we are a citizen of the Kingdom. Which am I the yeast or the dough?
Who is your savior? How beautiful is he? Does he love you unconditionally, has or will he give his life for you? If you do not know a savior like mine, there is still room at the foot of His cross for you!
What's it all about Alfie? Do we naval gaze and look for what God will do for us, or de we look for what we can do for God? Is my Christian walk a religion or is it a relationship? Is my walk one of giving up my possessions to follow Jesus? I wonder?
The mission of Leviathan is to block the Spirit filled Christian from the things of God. Leviathan veils the things of God mocking and blocking us from spiritual growth.
Leviathan tries to block our communication with God. Our prayers can be interfered with in the heavenlies as we see in Daniel chapter 10:12-13. God tells us in Isaiah 65:24 that He does answer our prayers even as we are still talking.
What is a principality? A territory ruled by a prince or from which a prince derives his title. The position, authority, or jurisdiction of a prince; sovereignty. Why aren't my prayers answered?
Only principality with a whole chapter devoted to it in the bible. Some say Leviathan is Satan's Lieutenant and keeper to doors of hell. let's see how deceptive he is and how he causes confusion.
If people begin only from themselves and really live in a universe in which there is no personal God to speak, they have no final way to be sure of the difference between reality, fantasy, and illusion. We need the truth to achieve true freedom.
Isa. 1:12 "When you come to appear before me, who requires of you this trampling of My courts?"
Could I be wrong? Could what I believe be wrong? If proven biblically, am I willing to change what I believe? Do I have a teachable spirit?
