Some societies and cultures especially male dominated ones do not regard ladies/women who are single. Some believers and Christian organisations who subscribe to such mindset mount ungodly pressure on singles to marry anyway and anyhow but this ought not to be so.

Many of us believe that God cannot lie, but why don't we believe what He says about us. Perhaps we don't know who God says we are. Be mindful of who you listen to about your identity, the word of God should set the standard for our Christian lives.

We are no longer our past and our sins have been forgiven. It is true a believer is no longer a sinner because he or she no longer have the spiritual ability to sin. But to experience the reality of this truth in our physical life, every believer must choose to believe they are born again, stop seeing themselves as a sinner and keep speaking out who God says they are.
Sometimes we identify so much with our past that we are not able to see who God created us to be and we get stuck and unable to become who we were created to be in Christ.
