The LGBTQ movement takes what God calls an abomination and turns it into a matter of pride. As Christians, it should seem plainly obvious that supporting this movement would be antithetical to Biblical truth, especially if you are a pastor. But let us not forget, we must also share the hope we have in Jesus Christ and His eternal destiny changing Gospel because we want all to be saved! Recently, our maple loving neighbors to the north, signed into law one of the most radical pro LGBTQ+ bills ever recorded, signing into law a bill that bans conversion therapy. This topic is certainly complicated, but it becomes especially concerning when you consider that the language of the bill is intentionally vague, and will likely apply to all kinds of people, pastors and Christians included. Some, like John MacArthur, are even concerned that ministers of the Gospel will be arrested for bills like this, which is why I wanted to take a moment for us to understand it, know how it applies to us, and as always, I want us to be encouraged with Scripture!
