This was a fun one for me, getting to realize some tangible growth in myself, through these creative endeavors! I dive into a topic I think is really important, which is overcoming fears, simply by starting to do something. Whatever you're afraid of, it can likely be worked on and improved by action. Give it a listen, and let me know what you think!

Cheers,

This is a really fun one for me, processing through something that has truly helped me in so many ways. The ability to pursue creative challenges and push yourself and your abilities has many by-products and really can revolutionize your workflow, your abilities and help improve yourself as a human and a creator. This is a laid back conversation fresh of my mind, and I hope you enjoy it!

Today threw a curve ball and landed this topic that was fresh in my mind. The concept of 'always do your best' or 'try your best' was something I always thought was encouraging to those who are struggling with a task or motivation. I've used it to press into tasks, or push myself harder in sports. And I've also used it as a way to convince myself I've tried hard enough.

This topic comes from a TikTok by 'badasscounseling' and it was really thought provoking for me.

I hope you enjoy!

Cheers,

Life happens, and sometimes it likes to happen when we least expect it. Plans change, you have to pivot, stressors can rise and fall, but whats most important is how you interact with the world around you. Do you cave and let it throw you for a whirl or do you hold firm and accomplish the work that's laid out for you? This episode dives into how we hold ourselves accountable when life happens and when the busy and the hurry can begin to crush our space to create and get work done. This resonates with me this week. It's a brief episode but one I think hits home. So, how do you hold yourself accountable? I would love to know, please send me a DM and let's talk shop! Enjoy!

Cheers,

I'm not trying to sound cheesy, but after recording my last podcast episode (journaling and reflecting) I was reflecting on why it took me so long to start the podcast up, as well as my youtube channel. And literally through reflection, I began to write down the structure for this episode here. It was all because of the fear of starting. Opening yourself up to something that is a lot larger than yourself can be very scary. And I think we begin to fear when we're stepping into uncharted territory. This is a conversation that I think any creator can relate to, and I dive into my own 'Why' for myself, to share some insight and personal examples as to what my fears were, and how I'm choosing to not let them hold me back any longer.

I truly hope you enjoy and please feel free to send me a DM with any questions!

Cheers,

I wish I could say journaling has been my vehicle for processing through some of my hardest moments in life, but I'd be lying. Rather, I discovered journaling while in University, and it changed my life. I began to use the process of writing to reflect, instead of reflecting solely on my long drives or just wide open in my thought process, rambling through clusters of thoughts.

I dove into a formula to process and release, and I've recently found that same therapeutic nature in other mediums that I'll discuss in the podcast. A bit different from film, but certainly a mode of self awareness, reflection and self care that heals and helps you function in every capacity as a better version of yourself.

I hope you enjoy!

In this episode, I talk about an honest struggle I personally face, but one that I believe most people deal with, as well: Comparison.

We also dive into the format (*subject to change) of this podcast and I'm just very excited to press into it, having found a solid way to stay consistent by eliminating some barriers I was facing with my previous attempt at this podcast. We're hitting 2022 hard in many ways, and this is a creative outlet I am so excited to explore this year!

Please let me know your thoughts! Shoot me a DM or an email and please Follow/Subscribe and give this podcast a rating! It really helps!

Cheers!
