Cardano's KEVM Launching in Coming Months
Bring on the Ethereum DAPPs! In today's video I discuss Cardano's KEVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine). This is going to be the bridge that allows current smart contracts, no matter which programming language it's written in, to migrate over to Cardano efficiently. I suspect there are a ton of unhappy DAPP developers currently using Ethereum and waiting for the release of Ethereum 2.0 and they'll be happy to consider a serious alternative.
Cardano continues to go strong in their development and partnerships. The public test-net for the KEVM is currently running which is kind of like how XBOX and gaming consoles release their software to game developers so by launch time there is something to play. Looking forward to more coming from the IOHK team!

Is it Safe to Buy Bitcoin Now?
In today's video I discuss some more in debt fundamentals on what should give you as an investor more confidence if you're considering buying more bitcoin. Based on recent trends and things happening in the market, by regulators and large investors, I don't suspect a significant downtrend in top cryptos anytime soon but focusing mainly on bitcoin.
The top three highlights presented here are FOMO from lending firms like banks since Paypal saw a 17% increase since they opened their arms to bitcoin... all companies love money! US regulators aren't outright banning bitcoin or making it difficult for regular folks to consider purchasing digital assets, instead they're allowing banks to hold tokens/bitcoin for them.
Last but not least are other large investors famous in the market. Like we all follow crypto twitter and top traders there, that isn't anything new and a lot of older investors follow strategies from top investors when they're looking to diversify their portfolio.

Wolfram Teams Up with Cardano
Building Better Smart Contracts for DEFI
Today I discuss a recent partnership announced between Wolfram Labs and Cardano. There is clearly a long term vision here with the groundwork being laid out with this partnership. Currently 50% of all hacks in the crypto space were around DEFI protocols, so there is clearly an issue with current smart contract protocols - Wolfram and IOHK hope to solve this.
A solution here would be game changing and certainly bring additional value to the entire ecosystem with Cardano leading the charge!

40 Packs, Was I lucky?
In today's video of opening packs I was feeling a bit lucky. I was originally planning on only opening 10 packs, but let's face it, once you get started it is hard to stop! The problem I'll have now is most of my cards are being rented so I probably won't go through the hassle of taking them off rent to combine them, rather hope they just go up in value.
Eventually I'll start playing Splinterlands again... but haven't had much time and get an easy return by renting them. Once the IOS app comes out I'll probably start playing a lot while I do cardio at the gym, that will be perfect then!

In today's video I discuss a recent article by business insider they published here.
I'm pretty sure everyone on Hive knows how bitcoin works and there will only ever be 21 million bitcoin. It surprises me when there are published articles talking about things they clearly don't understand! My guess is the author is just mad about not owning any bitcoin, classic no-coiner!

Owen and Andrew Reveal 10 Untamed Splinterlands Packs
Yet another edition of opening packs with my son Owen. Since he loved it so much the last time, it's becoming our new thing to do together!

Too poor to afford Splinterlands packs yourself but love the thrill of seeing cards revealed? Well this is the place for you!
This morning I opened a few more packs I purchased to see if I get my return on investment. SPT cards are really cheap on Hive-Engine and I got these about half the normal price - HUGE DISCOUNT!
At the end of this video I did a quick review on why I think there is still potential in Splinterlands, though I know a lot of Hive friends selling their cards... I'll continue to hold mine.

The Leo community is a great community to post directly with on their website https://leofinance.io/ or to include the use of the #leofinance tag into your post. The best part about posting content in the tribe / community websites like LEO, is that you earn the communities native hive based token in addition to the hive your content would earn. So it's a win / win and why would you not begin learning ways to maximize use of the various tribes further.
Tribe leaders are often time Hive blockchain witnesses, so in this case it's great to become an active member in the tribe because if you are putting out good content regularly, over time you will become more noticed and see more upvotes from larger accounts within the community if not directly from the tribe leaders / witness accounts.
Don't Spam Community Tags
Obviously since the use of community / tribe tags leads to additional rewards for your posts many people are abusing use of tag, i.e. tag-spamming. Since abuse should be assumed to be somewhat common on the scale of the overall use of Hive, I highly discourage blindly tag-spamming your posts.
My recommendation at the minimum would be that before you include community tags to your post your content is relevant to that community. This will require you to do five minutes of research and reviewing the common types of posts in the communities trending section.

Overall Rating
As of right now, I'd argue the Leo Tribe Community is the best one out there. Not only does their native tribe token have the most liquidity, but their community focuses on content most common to the current user base of Hive being that it's pretty much anything blockchain related. I think it's the perfect time to start getting more active in the Leo community if that has not been the case already. Odds are there is going to be something posted here you will benefit from or relate with that will help your earn more reputation in the Hive community as a whole. At the end of the day, if your posting directly on Hive that a community exists for and not at least using the community tags, you're missing out on some decent rewards and opportunity to reach additional audiences in through your posts.
