In this episode, we are speaking with former music manager and agent to some of the best electronic DJs, producers and music directors, Bianca Mayhew, to have an honest and raw conversation about her wellness journey overcoming breast cancer and a double mastectomy at the age of 36. She shares so openly and with the most genuine intentions of helping others feel empowered when facing serious health issues.
This episode felt like I was talking with a girlfriend over a glass of wine - we talked about her diagnosis and how that impacted her new budding relationship with her partner, who stuck by her side and supported her through her entire journey; we discussed our beliefs around spirituality and how this can impact healing; and we discussed how alternative medicine and traditions can complement Western medicine - including her experience of going to an Ayurvedic treatment centre in Kerala and doing a panchakarma treatment (deep cleansing of the body with Ayurvedic medicine). I have now added a going to Ayurvedic resort to my bucket list of things to do!
Honestly, this was such a beautiful conversation and I hope this episode will be a source of support for anyone going through serious health issues or anyone curious about learning more about Ayurvedic and alternative medicine traditions, as well as empower us all to learn more about our own health intuition and the options we have available for treatment.

Have you ever wondered what Ayurvedic medicine is? I have been so intrigued by this traditional form of medicine that stems from India and is estimated to be over 3000 years old, so I knew I wanted to explore and share this episode with you on the podcast!
I am thrilled that we have Dr. Ashish Paul, an Ayurvedic physician with over 27 years of practice experience and a Medical Herbalist with over 19 years experience, on the podcast to talk about all things Ayurveda!
In this episode we learn about how this ancient practice can help heal the mind, body and spirit. It was fascinating to learn about how purusha (male energy) and prakriti (female energy) come together and manifest the whole world. I also loved learning about the five elements (ether, air, fire, water and earth) and how these elements make up our constitution and manifest in the body (from how the skin looks, passing of stools, levels of tiredness, and more).
Vitality and gut health are other topics we explored as these are also key considerations Dr. Ashish and Ayurvedic practitioners consider when assessing patient’s overall well-being.
For anyone interested in learning about how Eastern medicine can complement Western medicine in a holistic manner, you need to listen to this episode!
To learn more about Dr. Ashish and how she uses Ayurvedic medicine and practices to help her patients, please visit her website: https://ashishveda.uk/. You can also connect with her on IG: https://www.instagram.com/ashishvedafertility/

Is it too late to invest in real estate in 2024?? Do you want to learn about property investment but you don't know where to start?? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then this episode is for you!
This week we have self-made multimillionaire Paul Smith on the EnvisionAir Podcast speaking about all things real estate! Paul has over 40 years experience as a property investor and has amassed an incredible £67 million net worth.
In this episode, Paul shares his genuine passion for helping others get wealthy through education and discusses the reasons why he considers property to be a great investment for all investors. He also shares the mindset needed to become a property investor and answers a number of questions submitted by EnvisionAirs!
Paul is incredibly generous with his time and the answers we asked him in this episode, and I am very grateful he shared so much practical value for beginner to more experienced property investors.
It was such a value-packed episode I thought I'd share some of the major takeaways of this episode:
When investing in any item (shares and stocks or physical assets) ask yourself the '50 year question’ Paul coined - that is, "Will this asset still matter in 50 years?"
Average house prices have gone up by a factor of 60 from £5k to £300k since the 1970s, which shows the longevity of this property as an investment.
Why does Paul think property is such a great investment? (a) Utility;
(b) Rent - passive income; (c) Capital growth; (d) Property is also an easy concept to understand - it’s an easier entry point to investment.
Paul’s formula for mindset success:
Step 1 - Define what success is for you - it will be different for everyone.
Step 2 - When the fear steps in, instead of asking what will go wrong, ask yourself what if this work?
Step 3 - How can I achieve what I want?
Paul’s advice for those starting out on their property journey - look into the following instruments to help you get on the investment property ladder (in the UK):
Students: Look into a 100% student mortgage.
Anyone else: Look into Barclays 'spring board mortgages’, which are 100% mortgages you can apply for, as long as you have a guarantor.
You must understand your values to succeed in life - one of his 'must read' books he recommends is Dr. Demartini's “Values Factor”.
For anyone who wants to learn more about Paul, please visit his website: https://touchstoneeducation.com/; you can learn more on his YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@PaulSmithTouchstoneEducation and you can connect with him on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/paulsmithwealth/.

Have you ever been told you too sensitive, do you ever get overwhelmed by external stimuli like noises, lights or crowds? Do you find yourself experiencing positive or negative feelings very deeply? Know anyone who experiences life in this way? If so, this episode of the EnvisionAir podcast is for you, as we are speaking with Karen Hall, Managing Director of the Los Angeles Tribune Women’s Journal, Holistic Life Coach and Podcast Host of the Hero Within podcast, who identifies as a highly sensitive person (“HSP”), a concept psychologist Elaine Aron coined in the 1970s to describe this personality trait.
According to Psychology Today, 15-20% of the population is an HSP, and understanding this personality trait can help HSPs feel less alone and improve the way HSPs navigate life in a more meaningful way. In this episode, Karen shares her personal experiences navigating life as an HSP. She shares the challenges she has faced as an HSP and how she has been able to overcome these challenges by harnessing the positive elements of being an HSP, understanding her triggers and how to methodically regulate her emotional responses in a constructive manner (relying on kindness, compassion and empathy for herself and others). Have you ever wanted to hit the reset button and start a new career or a new life? If so, make sure you listen to this week's episode as we have an incredible woman on the podcast named Beverley Cottrell! Beverley graduated from Cambridge in the 1970s having studied veterinarian medicine and then started her career working as a vet while raising 4 children!
At 57, after a successful career working as a vet and entrepreneur (as she bought her own vet practice for her 40th birthday), when most people would be considering taking their foot off the gas pedal and easing into retirement, Beverley decided it was time reinvent herself and become a barrister (also known as a lawyer/attorney)! She eventually qualified at 60 years old as a barrister and practiced for nearly a decade! At 70 years old she decided to hang up her 'wig and gown' (barristers in the UK wear a wig and gown when they appear in court). However, Beverley has not taken the foot of the gas pedal, instead she has engaged a piano tutor and is planning on taking her piano exams soon and has seriously taken up the French language, travelling to France last year to stay with a host family in order to immerse herself in the language and culture.
This conversation was amazing - we talked about the mindset needed to reinvent yourself; how to find the confidence to do so; and answer some questions from EnvisionAirs who are looking to reinvent themselves.
I hope you enjoy this episode and it inspires anyone listening to follow your heart and dreams - as it's possible to reinvent yourself at any age!
If you found this episode helpful, please leave a 5* review, it helps the podcast and would mean so much! Also, please forward it a friend that you think needs to hear this episode, especially if they are struggling to find the confidence to take the next steps.

Have you ever wondered how to set up a charity? Or do you want to get involved as a trustee or volunteer to give back to the community?
On this week’s episode, Andy Reid, Founder of Buddy Up Charity is on the podcast telling us all how we can do this. Buddy Up Charity is an award winning mentoring charity that helps young people affected by various issues in their personal and social lives by offering them regular one-on-one guidance and support.
He describes how he 'turned a challenge into an opportunity' a couple of years ago, when he lost his job working for a youth charity after it closed down due to lack of funding. He decided to start his own charity to continue helping the youth he had been helping who needed mentoring and support. Over nine months, he researched and worked hard to understand the charity sector, relying on the connections he had made during his time at the former charity, learning everything he could about building a charity, putting the right safeguards in place and cultivating the right trustees to help steer the charity and meet their objectives.
Nearly four years on, Buddy Up continues to thrive and Andy continues to give back as he runs this amazing charity that supports countless young people.
Andy also shares practical advice for anyone interested in starting their own charity and what key systems they need to consider.
I hope this episode will leave you feeling inspired to give back in your own communities.

Have you heard about microdosing? Wondered what it's all about?
In this week’s episode, Dr. David shares his journey into microdosing psilocybin and how it’s affected his life since he started over three years ago.
In this episode, David starts by sharing his journey suffering with PTSD and general anxiety throughout his life, which eventually left him in the hospital with very high blood pressure. Although he had a team of medical professionals advising him on his next steps, he knew intuitively he needed to take matters into his own hands - and after speaking to people he trusted and further researching his condition, he came across psilocybin as a complimentary method to treat his health condition.
David is a well-respected American dentist, entrepreneur, public speaker and author. David is also a thriving content creator and has his own very successful podcast called MicrodoseU, which has tens of thousands of downloads per month, where he deep dives into microdosing.
David has so much passion for sharing what he has learned about microdosing and does so in such an honest and genuine way. It was such a pleasure having him on the podcast!

Lauren Murrell, co-founder of BySarah London, shares openly her story of overcoming a rare form of leukaemia at the age of 23 (during her finals for law school as she was preparing to start her young adult life as a City lawyer). In this episode, she shares with us the idea of 'radical acceptance' - a mindset she adapted to deal with the serious adversity she faced, including a sudden diagnosis, rounds of chemotherapy, full body eradiation and the stem cell transfer from her sister, Sarah, which ended up saving her life. She also shares with us how she found the determination and sheer grit to fight this illness, which also contributed to her overcoming this serious illness and her pushing through her recovery.
During this time, her sister was not only supporting Lauren in her fight, offering moral and spiritual support, but only using her background in chemistry to create skincare serums to help Lauren's extremely sensitive skin due to the numerous rounds of treatment Lauren faced. Little did they know that this was the start of BySarah London, the now award-winning b-corp certificated skin care company they both founded in 2017.
We also discuss the life lessons she learned during this difficult time but also in her journey as an entrepreneur, including her mantra "Live life as if everything is rigged in your favour"!

On today’s episode we talk to Jackie Kirschen, registered dietitian and nutritionist, about her 65 pound weight loss journey and how she used mindful eating as a tool for her own weight loss and to keep it off for over 13 years.
Jackie started her weight lost journey in university, when she faced a pre-diabetes diagnosis and was told she had a BMI considered morbidly obese and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. After working with a nutritionist, learning about nutrition as a means of fuel for the body and processing emotional patterns she had with food, she lost 65 pounds over one year and has kept it off since!
Her weight loss journey was also pivotal for her career as she discovered she no longer wanted to become a doctor, but instead wanted to learn everything she could about nutrition in order to help others feel empowered to live a healthier life. She now uses the technique of mindful eating, something she used in her own weight loss journey, as a way to help others live a healthier life and does so with her clients 1-on-1 and through group coaching sessions, as well as on social media where she is known as “The Mindful Nutritionist”.
As we all entering the New Year and are contemplating resetting different parts of our lives, including health, this episode will surely help anyone looking to revamp any challenges related to nutrition and health.

On this episode of the EnvisionAir Podcast, it's my BIRTHDAY and I wanted to share three big life lessons I learned in my 20s - each respectively related to Health, Wealth and Community.
On health, I learned that "Compounding is Key" - this means every little action you take today will impact your overall mental, physical and emotional health, so be good to your body and yourself starting today. It all compounds over time!
On Wealth, I learned how important it was to "Start Investing Today" - but not literally -- first start by investing in your financial literacy now, by learning everything you can about the various sorts of investments our there, how accounting and taxes work, as well as building businesses and side hustles. All of this content is free - start doing that today!
On Community, I learned that "It's Very Important Who You Surround Yourself With". My Mom always used to say 'Birds of a feather flock together' - it's actually true! Be very mindful of who you surround yourself with, this can impact how you see yourself and your abilities in the world.
I delve into each of these topics further on this episode! If you found this episode helpful, please be sure to let me know! Drop me a comment below or send me a message on social media, and make sure to subscribe - it helps the channel make a more positive impact on the world!

Elissia Roberts, Certified Cacoaista and Head of Yoga at Digme Studios in London, joins us to talk about the transformational power of ceremonial grade cacao and cacao ceremonies on your mental, physical and spiritual health.
Having experienced the amazing benefits of a cacao ceremony myself, under Elissia guidance, I knew I had to invite her on the podcast to discuss everything cacao with the EnvisionAirs!
A long time yogi and practitioner of asana, Elissia has long understood the connection between mind, body and spirit, however, she first experienced a cacao ceremony in 2019 in the Meadows in the Mountains festival, in Bulgaria; and then gradually became more exposed to cacao for spiritual experiences at ecstatic dance events in London where cacao is offered to participants (these events are dry events where no alcohol or drugs are permitted and people are invited to connect with their spiritual selves and express this connection through dancing). She felt such an incredible energy and an ability to connect deeply with herself and understood how powerful cacao was during these experiences. She subsequently travelled to Brazil in 2023 to learn more about cacao ceremonies from local experienced cacao farmers and connect further with the cacao. Upon her return to the UK, she became a certified Cacaoista, certified through cacao expert Liam Brown's Cacao Ceremony Facilitator Training Course.
In this episode, Elissia and I start the episode with a mini cacao ceremony you can use on a daily basis with your cacao, and shares with us some of the amazing benefits of using ceremonial grade cacao on a regular basis, including it being a high source of antioxidants (even higher than blueberries and red wine); it can help detox the liver and the kidneys; it's great for your skin; it's high in magnesium and maganese, which is why people report it to be so relaxing for the nervous system. This plant medicine is also said to stimulate not only the neurotransmitters in the brain (including helping with clarity of mind and focus), but also help with depression and anxiety given the serotonin and dopamine releases it provides when ingested. Cacao can also help stimulate one's heart centre, as it contains the chemical called theobromine, which Elissia says can strengthen and naturally repair heart health, given it's propensity to act as a vasodilator.
Another fascinating discovery Elissia shares with us is the fact that inside the human body, there is a molecule called anadomide, also known as the 'bliss' molecule, which is why we can create a euphoric blissful feeling from within us. Interestingly, the only other plant that also contains tiny molecules of anandomide is ceremonial grade cacao! By drinking the ceremonial grade cacao as a daily practice or in ceremony, Elissia says we can enhance this molecule within us and enjoy the blissful feeling we already have the natural ability to tap into.
This episode was SUCH good vibes and I loved having Elissia on the pod so much! I hope you learn about the beauty cacao offers! Please let me know what you think!

You've done your life audit and you know you have to take action and CHANGE your life.... So when is the right time to PIVOT?
This solo episode follows the episode I did in EP 8, Season 1 - ‘It’s Never Too Late To Pivot (Your Life)'. In that episode I explained the EnvisionAir Life Audit Tool I use whenever I feel stuck or unhappy. You can download it for FREE here.
Following on from the episode and having heard from EnvisionAirs who wanted to know more about when they should pivot, I wanted to do another solo episode where I expand on the three steps I normally take whenever I'm trying to decide on when is the right time to pivot - for those harder life pivots that aren't so clear cut.
These are:
Reflection: meditation helps me to get quiet and focus on where I am in terms of my long and short-term goals and generally where I am in life.
Journal: I LOVE journaling - whenever I do so, my thoughts tend to come alive and all the chatter in my head becomes less chattery and more clear! I also consider what would the pros / cons will be if I start to pivot now vs later. I can then see on paper the consequences and the benefits. Unintentionally, I often start to map out a general timeline for when I want to pivot, considering my current circumstances. It's quite incredible.
Ask someone I trust: I often seek counsel from the people I feel the closest to and know have the best intentions for me. I also seek those who are non-judgemental and will take time to run through things with me. That can be my hubster, family and my friends!
Even when I'm feeling overwhelmed, I try to remind myself to take one step at a time and trust the Universe that things are unfolding the way they are meant to.
Please let me know whether this episode resonated with you. I love connecting on social media via DMs but also happy for you to visit my website here or you can always email me at envisionairpodcast@gmail.com. I look forward to hearing from you!
Lots of love EnvisionAirs!

Learn how to use your chakras to heal your body!
On today's episode, Pooja L Dhiman, Senior Leadership Coach for Women and Minorities, shares with us how we can use our chakras to heal our bodies.
Pooja, a former City lawyer in London, shares her journey to finding her purpose - from qualifying as a commercial lawyer, where she felt unfulfilled and unhappy, to going inward and connecting with herself to find her true calling. It all happened over 15 years ago, with a chance run in with Sanaya Roman's book 'Personal Power through Awareness' and then discovering meditation. Through those initial experiences, she inadvertently and unknowingly connected with her solar plexus chakra point, which was completely unbalanced. She then discovered her true calling and embarked on her extensive meditation practice and coaching career to help clients align and heal their bodies.
In this episode Pooja also does a one-on-one mini coaching session with me, where I learned that my sacral chakra was out of alignment and stagnant! It was such an enlightening experience! I have no doubt that every one will find this episode interesting and hopefully learn a bit more about the power of chakras.
I absolutely love the way Pooja explains energy healing through chakras - she is an abundant resource of knowledge in this area and an amazing coach! I would encourage you to check out her website, where you can learn all about the coaching Pooja does: https://poojaldhiman.com/. She is also generously offering all EnvisionAirs a special discount of 20% off all her coaching services on her website, including her 1-2-1 calls (1 hour and 15 minute) to talk about chakra activation - all you have to do is enter this code at checkout: ENVISION.

On this episode we have Itay Zilkha, owner of Eden's Little Bakery, who shares with us how he was able to leave his 9 to 5 job in the corporate world, where he worked as a high flying accountant in the City of London, in order to follow his dreams to develop Patisserie Florentine, an award-winning bakery in New York State; and subsequently opened Eden's Little Bakery - a successful award-winning bakery and cafe in Surrey, England.
Although Itay was an accomplished CPA qualified accountant for over a decade, he explains how he felt unhappy and decided to use his accounting and financial skills, together with his brother's pastry chef skills to pursue his dream of being his own boss and working in the catering and hospitality industry!
Did he have fears? Yes, but he accepts this is part of running a business and is very normal. However, he explains that if we allow the fears to take over, this slows you down and we should treat these fears as 'background noise' - acknowledge they are there, take any points that are actually material and make sure you nail them... and if you fail, then fine, caput, you start over!
This episode is full of useful advice and information that will help any EnvisionAir contemplating leaving their private or public job to start their own business, including two questions for anyone contemplating a move towards being their own boss:
(1) Are you able to survive by pursuing your dreams?; and
(2) Do you have the support at home?
If you can answer yes to both of these questions, then just start!
As Itay said: "Failure is part of the journey".... so let's try failing forward and see what happens!
For anyone that wants to visit Eden's Little Bakery (you must try their flat white and an array of their mini croissants!) you can find their website here: https://www.edenslittlebakery.co.uk/. Or connect with Itay on Insta: @edenslittlebakery.

In this episode, we speak with former political staffer and current diplomat Jenna Renée who shares her experiences living as an ex-pat in Europe.
Jenna was born and raised in the special town of London, Ontario (not to be confused with London, England!) known to locals as the Forest City, due to the high amount of trees and vegetation in the area.
Growing up as an only child, Jenna had a very close relationship with her parents. This relationship remained close even after she moved to Ottawa, the nation's capital, to pursue her graduate degree at University of Ottawa. Jenna eventually commenced her political career working on Parliament Hill and was eventually offered the opportunity to move abroad to work within a diplomatic mission.
The decision to move abroad was not an easy one as she weighed her personal and career goals, however, she relied on her 'go-to' strategy whenever faced with a difficult decision - her trusty pros and cons list to settle the decision. She (fortunately) made the decision to take the opportunity to move abroad and has embraced the ex-pat life ever since.
Jenna shares personal experiences of how she overcame some of the challenges many ex-pats face when abroad, including loneliness, missing major milestones of friends and family back home, as well as the dreaded administrative issues most ex-pats are very familiar with.
Although Jenna enjoyed a brief stint an ex-pat during her undergraduate degree, she explains that this most recent decision to go abroad again has been the most significant and life-changing decision she has made - one she is immensely grateful for.
This is a particularly insightful episode for anyone considering taking the plunge to move abroad; or anyone curious about living life as an ex-pat abroad.

In this episode, wife, mom of two under 5 year olds and full-time teacher, Stephanie Worth, shares her experiences of parenting while trying to maintain a sense of identity - something she does extremely well (in my opinion). :-)
Having had the benefit of growing up in multiple cities across Canada and having witnessed her parents divorce at a young age, while also seeing their respective strong work ethics and sense of duty towards their children, taught Stephanie adaptability and resilience, as well as helped shape the way she wanted to parent her children with her partner.
In this episode, Stephanie also imparts valuable advice for new parents struggling to maintain a sense of identity on the parenting journey; those contemplating becoming parents; or anyone interested in the general dialogue of parenting while also juggling many other responsibilities.

In this episode, a leading UK lawyer, Bianca Stewart reflects on her journey into the law, working first in private practice in the City and then subsequently moving in-house, where she now leads a legal team for a large start-up company.
Being born and raised a multicultural city such as London, while also having a working class and bi-racial background (Iranian and Jamaican) certainly helped Bianca develop a strong emotional intelligence and understand different vantage points. This has also fuelled her genuine commitment to support diverse talent entering the legal profession and her strong leadership and communication skills.
Bianca describes her experiences in the legal profession and explains how she has been able to build her confidence, particularly in the workplace, to speak up and stand up for herself and others when needed. She helpfully explains that in her experience, speaking up, even when difficult, has never really lead anyone to telling her to "leave the room".
Anyone finding it difficult to stand in their truth, should listen to this podcast, as I learned, not standing in your truth or speaking up for yourself could be a worst betrayal to yourself and your self-worth.
In this episode, Cambridge graduate, City lawyer and Instagram influencer, Oriyan Prizant, shares his experiences in overcoming bullying as a child and young adult.
Born and raised in Tel Aviv, Israel, Oriyan faced bullying from a young age from his school peers who viewed him as an outsider. He was picked on for his mannerisms and the way he spoke and eventually threatened with a knife by one of his school peers. Being a child who did not hide his feelings, he opened up and shared his experiences being bullied with his mother, a power house in her own right, who took charge of the situation and strongly intervened with the school administration. This shaped Oriyan's view of how to approach bullying, which he carried forward in his young adult life. During his time working in the military, shortly after he came out, he again was targeted and bullied for being gay. In this instance, Oriyan shared how he was able to deal with and end the bullying.
Oriyan offers very practical advice for anyone being bullied in their personal life and in the work context, the latter of which he admits can be nuanced and difficult to navigate. Nevertheless, his advice is extremely useful and will help many facing bullying at any age.
Oriyan also shares how he turned a "challenge into an opportunity" with his work with the Anti- Bullying Project with the Diana Award (https://www.antibullyingpro.com/).

In this episode, former political staffer and current senior adviser, Trang Phan shares her experiences in establishing boundaries while maintaining empathy.
Born and raised in a suburban town in Canada's capital, Ottawa, while also being the child of refugee parents from Vietnam, Trang developed a special understanding of what it meant to be Canadian. Recognising her multicultural background, she continued to prosper and grow as a child and teenager, learning to adapt but also set boundaries, initially with her parents as a teenager and then as a young adult in her first work environment. She describes these early experiences and how they helped shape her ability to set boundaries while also maintain empathy.
She also offers listeners advice about how to establish boundaries with personal relationships and also in the workplace.
