Grace Space: Recent Episodes

Pastor Jay

A open and safe forum from which to lovingly debate, embrace, challenge current events in a way that honors the God of Abraham,Isaac and Jacob and respect each other as human beings.

This is not a podcast where I or my guests seek to be right or wrong. The focus is to get a personal perspective from someone who has a different opinion in an environment that doesn’t seek to ridicule, judge, shame or slander. In fact in an environment that honors Christ and mirrors his grace and mercy on us.

I pray this is a model and seed not how to have the same opinion or view but how to disagree in love.

In this second pilot episode we sit down to discuss the Black Lives Matter movement. Specifically if Christians should be supporting it. We also dive into our differing perspectives on its origins and ultimately how we can respond in a way that honors God, loves our neighbor of any cultural background and points people to Christ. While this may be a controversial topic the desire with this episode is that you would listen to with an open mind to gain a perspective and dialogue in way that respects each other and gets to the heart of what we all desire and simply put that is to find joy in life amidst its struggles we all face.

On our first pilot episode of Grace Space we tackle a hot issue not only in the world today but the church today. That is the issue of political affiliations as it relates to the body of Christ. Are we obligated to vote for one candidate over another? Furthermore how do we approach the situation when we disagree with one another in this political realm. What we do is what we’re seeking to do in today’s episode and that is simply sit down and have a discussion in and from a loving and safe environment that honors and exalts Christ first.
