Record FM Uganda is at 97.7MHz, formed in 2010 and covering central, western, and southern Uganda plus some of northern Uganda. Their slogan is "Tusabula Hits All Day" (loosely translated as "We Play Hits All Day").

Uganda Performing Right Society(UPRS) has explained why artistes have not yet received their money and also emphasizes that non members will not receive anything even with hit songs noting that registration is totally free.
While appearing on the Urban Vibes show on 97.7 Record FM show hosted by Jiame Josh, Ms. Nakintu Maureen appreciated UCC for making the UPRS certificate mandatory for any media house to renew or acquire a broadcasting license, so all media houses will pay their royalties which she says was a major hinderance as many of them have been non-compliant resulting into a minimal collection.
Omulangira Ssuuna in his first ever interview after dragging journalists Kaiyz, Makko, & Wako to court, told Record FM 97.7 that he had been told worse things but he realised it was time to act. OS says he is happy with the changes that happened in the media but wasn't happy seeing the boys behind bars. He also confessed that he never saw the other 11 TV entertainment programs regulated.

Katusiime Benittah aka lord Elektra, also known as lord of Swagg appeared on the Urban Vybez where she talked to Jiame Josh about how the crazy idea of Tiktok got her mining from it. Surprisingly, her family & friends welcomed Elektra's idea and they are the most supportive people, unlike most families that take social media as a joke.
She also revealed how she still faces a challenge of people on social media who ask her whether she is male or female a thing she says she's used to of late.
She added that she's studying music production with hopes of being a producer and musician.
Elektra acknowledges the fact that the Tiktok business comes with a lot of pressure to keep uploading new content.
Many times artists receive hostile responses from their social media followers on different posts they put up, which has seen some openly lose their temper and others haunted unendingly. Nantongo has personally shared her own taste before notably when fans body-shamed her.
She says that “Social media things are confusing whereby people take artists to be angels of some sort. They blame you for not having a big butt, or this and that. Its invention also paved the way for people with bad intentions. Even so, I can’t stop anyone from abusing me but I know how to doctor this rightly; I sometimes block or reply deservingly.”
First, it was Andre sharing with 97.7 Record FM that they had been long-time friends with Nina which this time around Nina shared the baby stages of their relationship. She too reaffirmed that they can’t end badly when they started in the right ways.
She went on to advise young girls intending to join the music industry to follow their dream, stay focused and never accept to be used for the case of promotion. She however, related to her story, urges them not to say no to anyone because they might turn down the right people.

With so far five songs to his name, Dre Cali thinks not about forming a duo with Weasel as many propose(d). Many think it would be a great merger. “That won’t be possible because Dre Cali stands for himself now. But we can still do good music with Weasel because he is the second half of my music inspiration if he accepts to,” Dre Cali revealed.
“He took me to his ancestral home in Busia and introduced me to everyone in his family. He made me go to the whole country to admit that him and I were in love. He refused to take up the HIV test and I left. Let him stop embarrassing himself and admit to the facts instead of coming up with defensive answers that make no sense at all,” Katatumba remarked in a serious tone.
Asked about his favorite song, Andre said he has none. He later on amidst smiles said his favorite line is Nina Roz. As it is said that Love is the loveliest healing, Andre must be feasting on a genuine treat.
He sarcastically responded that “Nina seems to have the stomach and the back altogether. What I know it should be left up to God. Even if it was done in darkness, it shall come in the light if it so be positive,” Andre said.
