Memorial Day is not just a day to remember those who died for American freedom… It is a day to ask whether we are still worthy stewards of the freedom they helped preserve…
In other words…. Are you a Christian Nationalist? LOL! (Define it)
America was blessed because our national foundation was deeply influenced by Christian truth… biblical morality… ordered liberty… and the recognition that rights come from God, not government.
But the very blessings God has allowed us to enjoy — freedom, prosperity, comfort, safety, power, and abundance — can become a curse when we forget the God who gave them.
The National Monument to the Forefathers gives a visual blueprint for this truth:
- Faith in God comes first.
- From faith flows morality, law, education, and finally liberty.
- If we want liberty without God, morality without Scripture, law without divine authority, and education without truth, the nation will eventually collapse from within.
A nation can honor fallen soldiers with its lips while betraying their sacrifice with its morality.
A people must teach truth to the next generation. Education is never neutral. It either disciples children toward God’s truth or away from it.
If Christians abandon education, they should not be shocked when the next generation abandons Christian morality. We have abandoned God inside of our education system…. So it’s no wonder our society has grown more and more carnal and walked away from God.

This was a difficult topic that was brought to us by a listener:
Thought 1: Mental health awareness is growing in society. Doctors are finding new names for conditions. We are beginning to understand how one’s mental health can fall within a “spectrum”.
Thought 2: We are in a spiritual battle. The Bible has passages that speak of demons and that describe behaviors of the ones possessed or tormented.
Question: Are mental health issues and being demon possessed 2 totally different things? Could the devil be disguising his tactics under this “spectrum” of mental health issues. Does the posture of “inclusion” of people with mental health issues, rather than aggressive treatment, make it easier for Satan’s army to walk amongst us or even be welcomed?

A common argument I’m seeing in the online debate over ICE and its handling of immigrants is “What would Jesus do?” We are taught at a young age to ask this question but does it apply in scenarios that are not explicitly addressed in the Bible? Is it right for us to assume what Jesus would do considering how frequently he surprised his own disciples? Especially for the sake of an argument.

It seems like the Bible is being injected into more and more political debates, which on the surface seems like a positive to me because of the exposure of the topics to broad audiences. However, it appears that non Christians and anti Christians are selecting scripture without any context and possibly without any true understanding of the verses to support their political beliefs. I feel like this underscores the importance of building your bible knowledge and equipping each other to engage in apologetics. Not necessarily to change the minds of those you are debating, but to effectively capture the mass audience of non believers or new believers that are on the side lines of social media and scrolling by. Should we, or should we not, as Christians, engage in online debates?

Self proclaimed Christians are sowing division amongst themselves currently because of disagreements over topics such as handling of illegal immigrants, feeding/caring for the poor through government programs versus individual generosity, and challenging state and federal authority you disagree with. These are hot topics, not just because the news says so, but because it gives the devil a foothold in the spiritual war. Should we agree to disagree and move on, fight to the death, or meet somewhere in between?

Confrontational Evangelism is NOT hate speech! Charlie Kirk was a great example of how Christians should be sharing the TRUTH of God’s Word with a lost world.
Yes! It will be CONFRONTATIONAL! But confrontation is, more often than not, necessary at times to combat and restrain evil. How can we change the way people THINK, without being confrontational and challenging their foundation?

Can two contrary ideas be true at the same time? Opinions may not matter as much as you think!
We are all familiar with certain Laws of Physics such as the Law of Gravity, or the Laws of Thermodynamics. These laws have been proven to be true and constant through mathematics. And because they are true and constant, we can use them with confidence as we develop and create things like bridges and airplanes in the physical world.
But did you know that logic and reason also have laws? And just like the laws of physics, the Laws of Logic are TRUE and CONSTANT!
What is TRUTH? This may be the most important question that anyone could ever ask! In a world and culture filled with contrary ideas and beliefs, how do we know what is right... or what is wrong? Is there even such a thing as right and wrong anymore? And if so... who gets to decide?
Is there such a thing as ABSOLUTE TRUTH?
We here at The League of Logic believe there is! There is an ABSOLUTE TRUTH! Most have just forgotten how to find it! Most have simply forgotten how to reason... how to think logically.
That’s what The League of Logic and our podcast are all about. We want to remedy this problem!
The League of Logic started with a small group men. Our goal was simple; to change the way people think! Or, to help them start thinking in the first place!
We wanted to help people sort through the confusion and the contradicting information being thrown at us from all these divided groups. We wanted to help people, using logic, learn to search for TRUTH in every area of their lives!
It’s been an amazing journey so far! But it’s not always easy. In fact, sometimes it can be quite difficult! Truth is not always easy to handle; particularly when it is contrary to our desires, or our feelings, or what we have been following our entire lives.
But here is the greatest thing about truth… It is not dependent on our feelings or our beliefs.
The truth is the truth whether we feel like or not, or whether we believe it or not!
For that very reason, this podcast may not be for everyone. Some, would rather continue to believe a lie in order to be comfortable in “the now”, than to know the TRUTH and have to change!
