Author, musician and visual artist Wendy Cohen shares how to be spiritually secure and inspired as you prepare for the future in "Tools for the Times." As a Messianic Jew, Wendy leads scripture studies, exploring details of how Jesus fulfilled the Law and the Prophets, and as a performing and visual artist, she runs creative workshops and retreats on using the performing, visual and literary arts to bring deeper communion with God.
God wants us to be fully dependent on Him and when we allow that to happen He will show us many secrets about Himself. When we put our plans second to His, life in abundance begins to happen. For us to experience these rich Godly blessings, we need to be attuned to His Heart.
Wendy will introduce you to the concept of a one-ness of God that she calls “is-ness”, which is the quality of being, existence. God said He is “Am” and He invites us into that presence with Him. We hope you enjoy and learn how deep your relationship with God can go.

LORD, teach us to number our days, thus bringing us a heart of wisdom. (Psalm 90:12)
When we discover the significance of God’s timing, letting His timing become our timing, we breathe in sync with Him. Our lives take on the glorious rhythm of His Kingdom, and we walk out our moments within His extraordinary passion. We become overwhelmed by the beauty of His design, and we can truly number our days in great gratitude. This way of life is available to anybody who truly desires it. Our very DNA changes when we live from eternity and not towards death. Something inside of us walks out of the grave and into eternal life. Jesus makes that available to us. Have you discovered the eternal markers God has given you in your life? Come, to listen and learn! You will walk closer with Jesus as Wendy shares about God's calendar which helps us to have a more intimate relationship with Him.Shalom!

In the last episode (S2E10) we talked a lot about having faith while walking in the wilderness and how important it is to listen to God above all. Today, Wendy will share the beauty and hope that happens when we come through to the other side of the wilderness pain. It’s a peace and joy that we can only experience from being made new.

The world has entered into a wilderness, but God is leading His faithful into His Promised Land. Following His fire by night and cloud by day, obeying Him out of our passionate love, we discover the joys of His Goodness. He takes such good care of us our shoes don’t even wear out. (Deuteronomy 29:5)
Perhaps you are in your own wilderness today. Perhaps God is taking you into a new and very different relationship. Or perhaps you have broken friendships, addictions, job losses, or more. The wilderness is not a place of fear. It is a place of transformation, a place to build faith. Wendy reminds us to listen to God above all, to follow His cloud and fire, to sit in His goodness before we move on to doing things we deem important. He will show us the way, His way!

Rough days are going to happen, but how do we get through them? Do we stay stuck, angry, frustrated, thereby pushing ourselves further away from God or do we declare God’s victory over those people and circumstances causing us pain?
Wendy shares truth and light in this episode. It's a celebration of God's people and a reminder to trust and seek Him through everything that happens, to watch the miracles happen when we live from within His Heart.
1 Cor 13:8: Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.

Depression, anxiety, and pride can take control of our lives. But when we turn our eyes to Christ those times become an opportunity to surrender, an opportunity to return to the place of joy through Christ. God gave us a spirit so we can rejoice in Him and be taught. What a beautiful gift He has given us!
We hope this episode helps you surrender to the Father and look forward to the mighty works He wants to work through you and around you in your weakness and in His strength. Be inspired and know you are loved more than you can imagine.

Matthew 6:25, 33: “Do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear… But seek first God’s kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you.”
We can be problem carriers or glory carriers. If we are problem carriers, fretting about our challenges, we will struggle, like a car in first gear traveling down the freeway. If we are glory carriers, handing our challenges over to God like little children, we will soar, like a car in “God’s Gear,” with no limit to our speed and ease.
Numerous Biblical characters attest to this truth: Daniel, Shadrach, Mishach, Abednego, Esther, Abraham, Gideon, David, Paul, Stephen, John, Phillip, Yeshua Himself, to name a few. Many of us have our own personal examples, people we know who have inspired us to greatness in God’s glory through their remarkable faith in Him and His Goodness.
Faith to move mountains requires loving intimacy with our LORD. In this session we will discover more tools to living in that radical faith, more clues to being His glory carriers, more keys to flying through our challenges in God’s Gear.

It's so easy to get wrapped up in everyday life ... doing this, going there and basically being run by the clock every moment of the day!
When we stop and meet God in each moment, we move into living fully in God's glory! When we let go and trust that He has our next moment and our next step, we release our own power over to Him. We drop our pride, our eagerness and control and say, "God, I'm here, You are my clock, I run by you," that is a surrender into His Glory.
Join Wendy as she shares her personal stories of surrender and helps us consider how we may run by our Holy Father's clock, too!

In Matthew 6 we learn to focus on God’s Kingdom and His Righteousness. When we do so, He promises to provide EVERYTHING ELSE we need. An indescribable, huge blessing! But even more, when we live like that, God’s glory gives us the ability to bless all those we meet with His love. Our vertical, heavenly focused life in Christ fills our horizontal, people/work life with unspeakable joy and accomplishment. Such a bounty! Such pleasure! Join Wendy as she brings to light what it means to have a vertical relationship with our heavenly Father!

Paul prayed unceasingly. We can live like that! When we are victorious, we sit on Christ’s Throne (Rev 3:21). Sitting in victory with Him, we are in constant communion with Him. We can be intimate with Him, all the time, morning, noon and night. We know the truth that “Better is one day in Your courts than thousands elsewhere. “ (Psalm 84:10) This week’s podcast will inspire you to take seriously your God-given capacity to dwell with Him, in victory, on His Throne, now and forever. It will also give you some examples of how to live that reality now. Join Wendy as she gives you gentle reminders of how compromise can take you off the glorious path that Jesus has planned for you.

This episode encourages people to have such radical faith in the LORD that they know they can do all things through Christ who strengthens them, including defeating the enemy, on God’s terms, right now.
It reminds us to remember Who lives inside of us, to know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that the battles God gives us to fight, God gives us the strength to win, when we stay focused on Him. Chazak v’emet! 2 Chronicles 32:7 and Joshua 1:7.
BE STRONG AND COURAGEOUS! Wendy will remind you that no matter what circumstances you are facing, there's nothing that you cannot overcome with the help of our Heavenly Father.

God is always with us. He knows our beginning and our ending. That means He knows every moment of our lives. When we learn to relax into Him, to trust Him, to keep our full attention on Him, regardless of our circumstances, the earth becomes God’s blessing ground for us. We become His witness.
Everywhere we walk, we are a Holy Spirit reservoir, pouring out love and joy and peace into God’s people … whether they know they are God’s people already or not … Through us, they will taste and see that the LORD is good.
You will enjoy Wendy’s amazing look into what it means to really trust our Father, no matter what we see or hear around us.

Dear Friends,
Thank you for being with us through this series on forgiveness and love. The next series will begin shortly … Please subscribe to the podcast/vodcast so we can let you know what’s happening. Thank you, and God bless you with everything your heart desires, with much joy and peace and love.
Here is my prayer for the final session of this series:
“Lord, each one of us has a God-given purpose for being alive. Show us our purpose, and cause us to stand upon it until all is fulfilled. Give us the strength to say yes and no with clarity. Break off all patterns that stop us from hearing Your purity, truth and direction. Fill our hearts with Your love, kindness, grace, and forgiveness, for that is our common purpose. Give us Your Heart of empathy, the ability to be there for each other. When we don’t know how, cause us to fall back into You and let You take over. Thank You for being our example. You only did what the Father did, You only said what the Father said, and You fulfilled Your purpose until the end. Give us ears to hear, eyes to see and hearts to feel Your Will. In Your Holy Name, Yeshua/Jesus, I pray. Amen.

With all the madness in the world
Stop
Lean back into God’s Heart of Grace
Wait
Pray from His Heart of Love and Forgiveness
Watch
What we loose on earth has already been loosed in Heaven.
Experience
Our forgiveness releases the love of God into the world.
Truth
The love that goes to the Cross for our enemies, the love that always forgives … and forgives … and forgives again cannot be broken. The world is demonized right now, but the power of Christ’s sacrificial love is exponentially more powerful. When we rely upon Christ’s love we have His authority to transform our worlds. We can either react to situations from our minds and do our best to make good choices, or we can act from the heart of God, the One who created life itself, and effortlessly make the right choice. God gives us the authority to choose or reject Him, the Tree of Life. I pray this episode gives you more tools to choose well! Shalom.
Wendy will help you refocus what's important in your life in this show and help us all to grow closer to Jesus through the forgiveness we have for others.

Matthew 5 teaches us to love our enemies as our neighbors, and Matthew 22 teaches us to love our neighbors as ourselves. This is a love most of us can’t comprehend. We can believe it, but when trouble brews, we can’t apply it. Then, when we don’t experience its power, we can become double-minded about its efficacy. But Christ’s love destroyed satan’s power upon the cross. That is all the proof we need. This episode gives you tools to become so focused on Yeshua’s (Jesus’s) love, grace, beauty, kindness, joy, simplicity, wisdom, truth, and clarity, that when you pray every word you speak comes from Yeshua’s heart. There is no greater power on earth.

When we are intimate with a person we know their heart, their desires, their will, their mind and their emotions. We know what pleases them and what upsets them. We desire to be vulnerable to them so we can bless them, so we can understand what brings them satisfaction. The same is true in our relationship with God. How well have you gotten to know Him? How do you grow your intimacy with Him day by day? Do you let Him correct you and challenge you, encourage you and strengthen you? What would you need to do to make your ear more attuned to Him and His desires for you? Join Wendy as she shares how to take the first steps in having an intimate relationship with our Holy Father.

God’s greatest pleasure is to pour out His love upon us. He yearns to fill us with His joy, satisfaction and happiness. When we are needy or hurt, He is ready to wrap His arms around us and bring us comfort. What can we do to stay in the center of His Heart, in the core of His Love, and experience His unending joy in us, every moment of our days? What brings Him closer to us, and what pushes Him away? How do we always choose to stay intimate with our Lord and Savior? Wendy dives deep into what true intimacy with God looks like in our lives. Her teaching on this will stay with you as you think about how much God wants to be in every moment of our lives!

As a Messianic Jew, Wendy leads scripture studies, exploring details of how Jesus fulfilled the Law and the Prophets, and as a performing and visual artist, she runs creative workshops and retreats on using the performing, visual and literary arts to bring deeper communion with God.
When you experience the Cross and live from within its truth, fully submitted to Christ’s sacrifice, you love unconditionally. Your yes becomes yes and your no becomes no. Because Jesus’s words never come back void, your words also never come back void. Fully submitted to Christ, you don’t lose your peace and your authority cannot be undermined. You stand for truth because you know to Whom you belong. It’s a process that takes a lifetime. Wendy will share her amazing insight into fully submitting to our Lord, and the joy and peace that brings.

About Wendy:
Wendy Cohen was born to atheist Jews shortly after WW2. From a very young age, Wendy experienced remarkable encounters with Jesus. When she was six years old, she promised the Lord she would bring her parents out of their darkness and into His light, but only months after, her world fell apart. Left alone with a babysitter who practiced Satanic Ritual Abuse, Wendy spent two weeks watching people be tortured to death. Upon realizing that the same spiritual force that created Naziism had created this horrendous cult, she promised God to do her part in ending the nightmare. After spending decades in the arts, Wendy was commissioned as a pastor/missionaryto the Jews. For years she led a Shabbat scripture study, discussing Jesus’ fulfillment of the Law and Prophets, and producing significant events for the Biblical feasts. After relocating to Israel, she started Beit Tiferet Yeshua, Home of Jesus’ glory, where they worshiped the Lord through the arts. When you realize the vastness of God’s love for YOU, it is not courage to rely upon Him. It is sanity. As His wholeness replaces our brokenness, His unity replaces our shattered parts. Within His embrace, we heal, turn from pain to peace, from anguish to wonder, from destructive tendencies to submitted love. This is how we become whole. Isaiah 16:18 says that the walls of our city are salvation, and its gates are praise. Within His walls, we are safe. When we praise Him, we enter His city. Are you ready for wholeness in Christ? Wendy has a lot of wisdom to share with you about what happens when love takes over your soul and healing begins.

Choosing to be bitter and angry, or loving and forgiving, is an option God has given us. If we hold onto judgment, and don’t hand it over to God, we bind ourselves and others to pain. If we hand judgment over to God, and forgive those who hurt us, we loose ourselves and others into freedom. When we allow God to heal our emotions, thoughts, and desires, those things that hurt us lose their power over us completely. But God gives us the right to choose. What causes you to be bound or free? Wendy has amazing insight into radical forgiveness from a very personal and biblical perspective.

As I was preparing to launch my new podcast series, “Tools for the Times: Living Victoriously Now”, I was stopped by the events in Afghanistan. The LORD encouraged me to do my first podcast about the authority, the power, we wield in the LORD, when we pray from and for love. “For our struggle is not against blood and flesh, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual wickedness in the heavens,” Ephesians 6:12. When we pray God’s prayers, our prayers are answered. How are we doing? What do we need? Join Wendy as she helps walk us through forgiving what may seem like the unforgivable and gently lead us into His grace.

Living in joy in the midst of trials, free in the LORD in the midst of attacks, systemically impacted by Jesus’s truth and love, we are empowered to transform our culture into God’s victory. Practicing love, forgiveness and sacrifice as God’s tools of redemption, we defeat our enemies through compassionate wisdom. Learning to pick up our crosses and carry them, loving our enemies as ourselves, forgiving them and handing them over to God, we smash their destructiveness into dust, and their darkness disappears in His light. How is this accomplished? Only through submitted intimacy with God … We think you will really enjoy Wendy's insight into these very important topics!
