In this episode Kirana talked about their experience as a Computer Science student and how they developed interest after starting a completely new subject, going from learning too code from university with resources like geeksforgeeks.org and youtube channels to working as an intern in a Smart city project of Jakarta in collaboration with Berlin, they shared how to find interest and keep practicing. This episode's guest Amber Jolly (she/they) is a 2nd year PhD student at University of California Irvine, interested in looking into physiology of different Avocado varieties and also working on a climate change project in Mediterranean region. Palina Kot, an MS in Biomedical science student going to PhD at Nagasaki University, doing her research on DNA repair. She was also an Assistant Professor and volunteered at UNICEF. Her story depicts the kind of perseverance she had and is continuing to show to pursue a career in science.
