The introduction of The Let Them Theory emphasizes letting go of the need to control others, which resonates with biblical teachings on trusting God’s sovereignty and refraining from judgment. Scriptures that support this include:
· Matthew 7:1-2: "Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged."
o This verse highlights the futility of controlling or judging others’ actions, aligning with Robbins’ idea of emotional detachment.
· Proverbs 3:5-6: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."
o Trusting God’s plan rather than attempting to control outcomes mirrors the principle of "Let Them."
Robbins’ anecdote about her son’s prom plans illustrates letting go of micromanagement, a concept echoed in biblical teachings about surrendering control to God.
Chapter 1: Stop Wasting Your Life on Things You Can’t Control
This chapter focuses on releasing stress caused by trying to manage uncontrollable situations. Biblical parallels include:
· Ecclesiastes 3:1: "There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens."
o Recognizing that certain events are beyond human control aligns with Robbins’ message.
· Philippians 4:6-7: "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God...will guard your hearts."
o Instead of expending energy on controlling others, Scripture encourages finding peace through prayer.
Robbins emphasizes accepting people as they are—a concept reflected in Romans 12:18, which advises believers to "live at peace with everyone."

Labor Day is a day for rest and refection. A time when we celebrate the fruits of our labor. We are meant to Rest, Relax and Work.
1 Timotht 5:18 tells us: "Do not muzzle an ox while it is treaing out the grain" and "the worker deserves his wages."
