Our goal is to take a deep dive into the book of revelation. Not as a figure of authority on the subject, but as people asking the same questions you are about this seemingly confusing book of the bible. In hopes that we can start to understand this book as another piece of God's overall message in the bible. Instead of a mysterious and impossible to understand addition that many of us have all but given up on. Thanks for listening.
We really get into the scripture this time! John getting exiled to Patmos, the metaphor that can introduce into our own lives when we consider own our "Patmos," and some thoughts on why John uses the language he does when writing the book of Revelation along with some examples of that language. We break down some of the imagery in the scriptures and it brings up some interesting questions and some even more interesting answers!
