It's the last episode of this season! We spoke to Tom Povey, re-recording mixer for Glasgow post-production house Arteus. Tom has worked his magic on lots of shows that you might have heard of, e.g. The X Factor, Britain's Got Talent, This Time With Alan Partridge, and many more (see links below). Tom tells us how he got his break in the industry, talks gear, and offers some great advice for anyone looking to get into audio post-production work.

Episode 5 of the AudioBubbles podcast brings us to the multifaceted career of Kenny Inglis.
Kenny started out as a project studio owner, then became an electronic musician, which led to him composing music for some huge TV shows: Six Feet Under, CSI, and Numb3rs to name just a few.
He's also scored documentaries, worked on ads, and provided the music for various film trailers. He still composes his own music and has a new album, under the name Imperfect Stranger, coming out soon. And if that's not enough, he also produces some very impressive photography!

Phew - We've made it to a second episode!
This time, we chat with Iain McKinna, owner of Edinburgh's Offbeat Studios. Iain has had a really interesting career, starting out in the analogue days of punk rock (& one of his bands was signed by Simon Cowell!). He was an early adopter of digital technology and MIDI, and has a great perspective on today's audio recording landscape.
Offbeat has carved out a very nice niche for itself, focusing on audiobooks, voiceovers and other audio post-production work.
Iain is still actively writing and recording music - his band Harmonic Overdrive are well worth a listen.

First up, we talk to Paul Savage, owner of Chem19 studios and the producer/engineer behind some of Scotland most acclaimed music of the past couple of decades - e.g. Arab Strap, Twilight Sad, Mogwai, Bis...and even Calvin Harris!
Paul gave us the lowdown on how he got started, offered some tips for aspiring producers, and talked through some of his favourite gear.
