Chapter 11
The Tuttie Fruitie Attitude Adjustment
Katie's mom tells Katie that the Franklins want to buy the old mansion and she has not sold her artwork. Katie is suspicious the two are related.
Candy is still mad at Katie.
Katie finds out Cole and the other Sleepers have been captured by the Tuttie Fruitie Californian's.
Katie goes to California with Sleeper wolves and demonstrate her powers to the wolves there.

Chapter 10
Another Talk with Evil Katie
Katie has to go to detention because she defended the Great White Tiger's religion.
Salma and Joshua realize there is something going on with Katie and are aware David Black is the Great White Tiger. Whatever that means.
The Tutti Frutti Californian's want to negotiate over the silver. They want Katie to give up all authority over all wolves. Katie sends Cole over to California to talk to the wolves.
Old Katie has set a pile of silver in Jack Price's house so when Katie enters it her heart will stop. Katie lets old Katie know exactly how she feels about Jared being stuck in Tartarus.

Chapter 9

Another day where Katie is electrocuted first thing in the morning.
Ben is upset that Katie has to be with him all the time. The new guy Luke still insists on eating lunch with Katie.
Tyler tells Katie about how Enticers attacked a Pure Heart family. This gives David the ability to ask for more silver from the California Pure Hearts.
Katie tells David her fears in helping the Malus.

Chapter 6
No Sleep
Katie asked Salma about Palestine. Salma shows Katie just how much she hates Jews.

Chapter 5 "Jonah and His Whale"
Miss Smith has helped Katie with her schedule. The only catch is, she has to be tutored in Geometry by a dork named Joshua. Salma will join the geometry session also.

Chapter 2, Deciding to Help the Malus
After her first day of school, Katie drives to the Cumberland Gap. Todd the Malus meets her and tells her they need help with medallions. She is unable to see Jared but able to communicate with him.

Katie finds herself in Ben Black's dream where it looks like he will be the next Pure Heart. Ben wants nothing to do with being a Pure Heart and is able to not be bonded with a animal spirit.

Chapter 44 "Lazy is Gone?"

The Lazy kid demands to have his medallion if he doesn't get one he will tell someone outside the cave what Katie is doing.

Chapter 27 "Tartarus"

Chapter 26 "No Longer a Pure Heart"
Hank the Neanderthal Seeker finds Katie.
Katie was able to get in touch with the Sleepers.
Katie wakes up the next morning and realized the Great White Wolf left her body and became a tangible. Katie is no longer a Pure Heart.
Serenity and Michael become Pure Hearts.
The Sleepers find Katie.
The wolf frees all the slaves in the compound

Chapter 24 "Saving the Instructors"
Katie was sent to a room where they could recover from getting clawed. Since Katie and Serenity were not hurt they helped the others who were.
Katie was able to help the human slaves.

Michael came down to check on his sister Serenity. Katie learns the wolves and bears have different dreams to test their courage.
Michael tells Katie how he witnessed an Enticer die and he is capable of remembering everything even though he still has to follow orders.

Chapter 21, "The Compound"Katie wakes up as a Sleeper Slave in a compound that is much like the compound where her Seekers and Pure Hearts are. She meets her instructor who is a 13 year old girl.
Katie realizes she can withstand the commands of the Malus but she is like a robot when the Enticers give her orders.
Chapter 22: "Lost Time"Katie realizes she has lost approximately 6 hours of time. This means she is still acting like a robot wolf.
Chapter 23 "Clawed"Katie is caught breaking a rule. Her instructor and herself or forced to the center of the compound where they will be clawed. Katie uses her projection skills to protect themselves.

Zapped Again

Attitude Adjustment
Katie gets back to the plantation home only to have Kat confront her. Katie finally gives Kat an attitude adjustment.
Katie goes down to the cave and explains that she thinks when she is older she has learned how to time travel.
Katie eventually demotes Kat from being in charge of the California Pure Hearts

Katie's mom calls her and tells her David's little sister Nora Black has been kidnapped. Running over to help she promises Jared she wouldn't let her emotions get the most of her.

Jack Price sets up a meeting to tell Katie and David what they had found out about the Franklin's. Katie brings Zach along.
Jack Price explains he knows his friend Tom Franklin is not involved and has given him the investigation.
After the meeting, Jack tries and tells Katie Jackson is not for her. She tells him not only is he not in charge, but he needs to stay out of her personal life.
Katie confronts Jared outside of Jack's office. Where he grabs her and kisses her.
After the kiss, Katie needs to talk to a friend and calls Candy.
Explaining the fight with David, Katie lets a few things slip she didn't intend to. Candy realizes David is not over Katie and decided to leave David's home.

Katie gets into a huge fight with David. When she enters her home she cannot get over the feeling she is being watched.
Walking through a house that appears to be empty. She runs into her mom in the arms of Reginald Cumberland the butler.
Katie goes down to the cave where she studies the crude drawings. Jackson meets her there.
Unable to control her hurt, Katie gets into a fight with Jared.
The next morning Katie explains to Zach he is one of the three great leaders. She asks Zach to come up with a of strategy that will help them on the next full moon.

Katie's mom catches her and Jackson sleeping in the same bed. Her mom takes her to the Dr. for birth control.
Katie feels Jackson's sadness and enters his mind where she is confronted with Jack telling his son she is not the girl for him.
Jack informs Jared the Franklins are implicated in the selling of the compound. Jack, Jared and Candace will confront the Franklins. Jared tells Katie this is a family matter and she cannot come or listen in.
David tells Katie there are to many Pure Hearts showing up. They both decide to take all the Pure Hearts to the compound.
Katie tells David about the meeting where neither one of them is invited.

Jackson and David explain in more detail about the wolves. There is still a danger she may turn into a slave wolf herself.

The Three Great Leaders
Katie becomes conscious realizing Jackson is in the room with her. She is able to project the message to not leave her alone.
Able to rest with Jackson by her side, Katie has a dream of a young maiden painting on the cave wall. The girl explains the story on the wall is Katie's story. She is told there are three great leaders the wolf, tiger and bear. They are the leaders in different parts of the country. Only when there is a great evil, will the three combine their efforts to fight.
David and Jackson carry Katie down into the cave to keep her away from Sheriff Tate.
Still unable to move, Katie is finally able to communicate with her mind to David and Jackson.

Poisoned
Katie becomes conscious unable to move. Not knowing if she could hear her, Katie's mom explains she had been bitten five times by wolves. Candace explains the wolves are mindless followers. Katie needs to fight the virus running through her body.
Jackson comes into the room. She is unable to respond to him.
David enters and tells Katie the Pure Heart Sandy was killed by the wolves. Katie gets so angry she is finally able to communicate through projecting.
She runs through all the times David has not listened or acted like a jerk.

WolvesSheriff Tate pulls Katie over and immediately takes her in for questioning.
Walking up the steps, Katie could hear wolves howling all around her. She realizes its close to sundown and its the full moon.
Jackson realizes the wolves are after Katie. They plan an ambush where she leads the wolves to the Seekers and Pure Hearts.
The Sheriff continues to question her about the deaths of teenagers. She eventually escapes the sheriff so the wolves do not attack the station.
Katie runs towards the ambush site with wolves chasing her.

Reginald shows Katie and her two body guards the secret passageway that goes underground in the old plantation home.
A wall on the cave has native American drawings depicting a white tiger, bear and wolf.
Reginald shows Katie a room in the cave that has evidence of being a part of the underground railroad.
Reginald informs Katie he knows she turns into a wolf and tell her she can trust him.
Seeing Lizzy's projection is not coving the plantation home Zach and Kluxy look for Lizzy's hiding place. Katie realizes Lizzy heard the conversation she had with David and has proof they she suspects her of being a traitor.
Katie realizes Sandy is in danger. David doesn't believe her.

A Pure Heart Attacked
Katie realized she only needed to work out physically to avoid the migraines she got when did mind exercises.
Candace informs Katie a Pure Heart has been attacked by a Seeker.
Katie, Jackson, Zack and Kluxy meet up with David and Candace to investigate the attack. Driving up to her home, Katie realizes the old plantation house is under a projection from Lizzy.
Sandy the Pure Heart attack dramatizes her story. David is over protective of Sandy.
Jackson proves to Katie and Candace, Sandy is lying. Katie makes David come down to the scene where he also sees there is no evidence of an attack.
Trying to get answers Katie goes overboard and attacks Sandy. David fights with Katie. Jackson is angry with Katie over her actions with Sandy.

Katie is pulled over by Sheriff Tate and taken in for questioning. In defending David, she inadvertently lets the Sheriff know she has something to hide.

A New Member
Jackson and Katie drive to meet the gang who are deciding if they want Lizzy to be the leader of the gang. Jackson tries and talks Katie into not telling them he is a Seeker. Katie wants to be honest and up front as possible with her friends.
Katie tells the group who Jackson is and he was there when Sam died. In the end, the group decided to have Jackson be a part of their team.
Candace tells Katie Jackson is just as rich as her family. Their families have been friends for years. Her family also has a hunting lodge they could use.

Jackson helps Katie get home where her mom quickly rushes her to a hospital. While she is there she is questions by Sheriff Tate who gets frustrated when Katie refuses to answer any questions.

Katie finally goes to the Black home where she knows they will be at church and not at home. She goes into Sam's room where it looked exactly the way Sam had left it. David enters the room and she is finally able to show her emotions.
David and Jackson meet for the first time where Jackson admits to David Samantha was murdered.

She is standing outside the cabin when Jackson distracts her. As she is talking to him, she realizes she has stepped away from the cabin. She hears a scream, running into the Cabin she finds Sam breathing her last breath.

David Black shows up and talks Katie into doing a good deed for her English teacher. Katie not believing it will work scraped snow off the driveways and cars in an older neighborhood. Sheriff Tate shows up and tells them there has been a complaint about them. Katie knows its Miss Smith who complained.
Katie came back to find Candace had bought them tons of new clothes for them to wear.

Candace is desperate to find a girl in her school who is about to change. Katie leaves her English class to help Candace. They were unable to locate the girl in time. Candace blames herself.
The team is at Forest's cabin trying to help Tyler change. Katie decides Tyler would be better off without their help.

Katie is caught up in one of Lizzy's day dreams during class. She realizes Lizzy can use her mind more effectively then she can. She also realizes they are going to have a new member to her team. Tyler Sanders
Katie has a meeting with everyone at her house where it is obvious Tyler doesn't believe a word of it. She turns into a wolf where Tyler speaks for the first time.

Back to School
Christmas break is over Katie returns to school only to find out she still has English with Miss Smith. Trying to get out of English, Principal Davis forces her to continue with the hated class.
Samantha Black comes up with one of her big ideas on how to win Miss Smith over. Katie knows its not going to work.

Lizzy Hawk
The girls are staying in the cabin. Lizzy is about to change into a were animal for the first time. Seeing someone outside Katie took off only to have Jackson yell at her with his mind she was running into a trap. Running back Katie was able to see everyone in the cabin was safe.

Candace Franklin
Katie drags Candace back to her home where they eventually tell her the legend of the Great White Tiger. Katie cannot stop goading Candace until they get into a scuffle. Candace runs into the woods into unknown danger and Katie is forced to follow.
They decide to stay at Forrest's cabin for the next couple of days until Lizzy makes her final change.

The Black Panther
Katie tries telling her mom what is happening in her life with disastrous effects. She is in the local diner telling her friends the story when she feels a tingling sensation. She looks out the window to see her nemesis Candace Franklin showing signs of turning into a wear animal.
She tells Candace to run and follows her through the woods. She gets into a fight with a black panther that has evil intentions towards Candace.
Katie realizes she is out classed and will loose the fight when the black panther stops and apologizes. She realizes the panther is Jackson.

Trail of Tears
Katie and her friends are in the local library trying to learn more on local legends. Lizzy tells the details of the Trail of Tears where over 4,000 Native American died on the trek to Oklahoma.
Sam makes the suggestion they should talk to their moms about what is happening.

Christmas

The date arrives where Katie has to turn in all her homework. She finally is able to relax. She watches David Black play basketball where Jackson interrupts her in her mind. David personally asks Katie to their family Christmas party. Lizzy is showing symptoms of turning into a were animal.

Katie works on hard to get all her homework done before end of term. She barely has time to do anything else. When her mom comes home she get into a fight with her and runs back to Forrest's cabin.
When she returns, her mom is frantic. She takes Katie and her friends to dinner. Where they learn her mom was able to sell her artwork, and has a contract to sell more.

Back to School
Katie goes back to school only to find out Principal Davis believes she wasn't sick. He gives her six days of zero's. Katie gets help from her teachers with extra credit except from Miss Smith her English Teacher.
Katie gets home hoping to get a call from her mom wishing her a Happy Birthday. Instead her mom berates her for missing school. Unable to stand it she takes off running into the woods where she finds a cabin. Owned by a man named Forrest.

Adjusting
Now she can hear Jackson in her mind, he helps her adjust to her new reality. She stays home from school a week so she can control the wolf inside of her. Concerned, Lizzy and Sam come over. Katie shows them she changes into a wolf.
Jackson disappear from Katie's mind. She misses him.

Changes
Katie has another dream at the waterfall. Old Elizabeth Hawk appears to her and tells her she is in danger. She must stay away from all Seekers. Katie wakes up from the couch and turns off all the lights and goes back to her bed. Here she dreams again she is at the waterfall where Jackson is there appearing guarded and worried.
She wakes up from the dream only to feel sick and extremely hot. She runs to the bathroom where she transforms.

She almost runs into David Black who she has had a secret crush on. She finds out her mother is going to Chicago for two weeks.
