Forensic Psychology one of the fascinating branch of Psychology. Many students recently are attracted to pursue their career in this area. The online, mental health promotional activities of Chinmaya Vishwavidyapeeth as a part of the observance of World Mental Health Day was inaugurated by Prof. Shekhar Seshadri. Prof. Seshadri stresses the need for bringing out more well-trained mental health professionals, especially to help people in times of pandemics, and stated that there was a dearth of such trained personnel in the country.
He spoke about how there was a need for a collective push towards making mental health services available especially for children, young adults or other students in the society around us.
Prof. Shekhar P. Seshadri is a psychiatrist and professor of the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in NIMHANS, Bangalore, India. He is widely quoted by the media and has for decades been associated with numerous mental health initiatives.

Neuropsychological rehabilitation is a theoretical framework of interventions designed to improve cognitive, emotional, and psycho-social functioning due to changes in the brain. Such programmes aim to tackle cognitive difficulties directly and target everyday situations to enhance people’s cognitive functioning, independence, and psychological well being. This podcast aims to orient the practicing clinicians and students in the field of neuropsychology towards these various perspectives of neuropsychological rehabilitation.
Dr. Bhasi Sukumaran is a gifted academician and practitioner in the field of Clinical Neuropsychology.
