A native New Yorker, was born in the crown heights section of Brooklyn, NY,
graduated from Hunter College with a B.A. in Media Studies. She took her passion of working in
team environments into the marketing, retail and service industries for several years, working for
corporations such as Columbia Records/Sony Music Entertainment, JetBlue and the YMCA.
Diana graduated in 2009, receiving her Master’s degree in Public Relations and Corporate
Communications from Georgetown University, being a part of the first class to graduate from the
School of Continuing Studies. After graduating from Georgetown, Diana took a position at the
YMCA in Brooklyn, NY as the Director of Marketing and Membership.
In March of 2013, Diana moved forward with her career and was offered the position Manager of
Guest Services, Tourism Marketing & Development department for Macy’s.
In October of 2016, Diana transitioned her talents to the Corporate Services division of Macy’s
Inc., and became the Multicultural Community Engagements Manager, a role she was elated to
take on.
In May of 2020, Diana transitioned from Macy’s and became an entrepreneur starting When She
Comes Home, creating wellness boxes for mothers, mothers-to-be and women who experienced
pregnancy loss. Her hope is to send a message early on in their journey that caring for self is a
form of love and that it's ok.
Diana is a PROUD member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., - Delta Beta Zeta Chapter and has
held several positions on the local and state level, including President of her chapter. She has also
received several awards such as President of the Year from the National Pan Hellenic Council of
Greater New York, the Annie C. Singleton Award from Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc., - Zeta
Zeta Lambda Chapter, Advocate for Diversity Award from Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Nu Psi
Zeta Chapter, The P.E.A.R.L.S Award from The Women’s Academy of Excellence and recently
the Champion of Social Work: Community Empowerment Award from the National Association
of Social Workers for her dedication and commitment to making a change in the diversity and
inclusion space for Macy’s. In November 2020, Diana was instrumental in Macy’s having its first
Black Greek lettered organization, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, perform in the Thanksgiving Day
Parade.
Diana still resides in the best borough, Brooklyn, NY and has twin toddlers, Zoe and Adir, who
