Calvary Central is a student run, non-denominational ministry and a community in the making, with the sole aim of spreading the word of God. In our podcast we will discuss issues which are at the core of Christianity and spiritual growth and maturity which will help you, the listener, understand and apply these principles taught, from Gods word, to your very own lives. Produced by @themilkfactoryy
"If a person gets his attitude toward money straight, it will help straighten out almost every other area in his life." ~ Billy Graham
One topic we got a lot of questions from you, our listeners, was on money. So we decided to take a look at what the Bible said, research and break things down as best as we could with our findings. The result? An episode worth its weight in gold. Do take a seat as we talk on the Roundtable about all things God and Gold

This Is What We Long For
“Holiness is the strength of the soul [and] comes by faith and through obedience to God's laws and ordinances....Holiness speaks when there is silence, encouraging that which is good or reproving that which is wrong.” ~ James E. Faust
The soul groans to be like its Maker, but it knows it is as clay. Yieldedness is therefore desired in the moulding in order to be uncommon by the end of way. So it is that in a world plagued by sin, how do we come to be holy in our temporal stay? Cause everything else pulls to places we wish not to go and play, This matter called holiness is what our Roundtable will discuss in this episode you decide to play

"Forgiveness is negative. Righteousness is positive. Forgiveness is you may go. Righteousness is you may come." ~ Tim Keller
Is righteousness a feeling? Is it as a result of doing some bidding? Is it my credit out of excessive goodness when my charity outweighs my bad?
In this episode, the team attempts to break down the Bible's concept of righteousness and how applicable it is to our day to day living.,God's Clean Slate:

Volume 2:
"There's no wrong way to do it; There's no bad time to start; It don't have to sound pretty; Just tell Him what's on your heart...." ~ Brandon Lake
But what is the whole deal with prayer anyways? Why is it a big deal? Why shouldn't I stop if I cannot hear Him when I pray? Does He listen when I feel messed up or His love for me doesn't seem real? Welcome to Calvary Central where we talk about prayer in this episode and have a good conversation amongst the team on these lines and more.

"The Word of God well understood and religiously obeyed is the shortest route to spiritual perfection. And we must not select a few favourite passages to the exclusion of others. Nothing less than a whole Bible can make a whole Christian." (AW Tozer)So what can we do to ensure a whole Bible study? How do we hear God in the Word we seek? Join us break down the question to reveal the answer on the Roundtable as the Calvary Central crew speak.--- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/calvarycentral/message
Christianity On The Go: The proof of the pudding is in the eating. Thus, the evidence of the believer is in their life and living. "There's not much practical Christianity in the man who lives on better terms with angels and seraphs than with his children, servants and neighbours" said Henry Ward Beecher and we couldn't agree more. This is our endgame: putting our hands to the plough and showing JESUS as alive. Welcome to Christianity on the go; tune in for what to expect this season!--- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/calvarycentral/message
Sonship: Being Full in God's Inheritance Sonship - "the relationship of son to father" (Merriam-Webster). The goal of salvation, we discovered from season 1, is to bring sons to Himself. So what are we stepping into? What is the deal with Jesus being the Son of God? To what end is it? A topic sending us slowly into deeper depths concerning our discussions on the journey with Christ, we wrap up the season with this glorious topic and your favourite panel: the Roundtable. Prepare for a deep dive with this one; a notebook plus Bible is strongly recommended!

A trip into discipleship dictates a look into the training manual known as the Bible. In the words of Finis J. Dake(author of the Dake Study Bible), we note some points of interest before you listen🙃:
"The Bible is not an amulet, a charm, a fetish, or a book that will work wonders by its very presence. IT IS a book that will work wonders in every life, here and hereafter, if acted upon and obeyed in faith and sincerity. IT IS God’s inspired revelation of the origin and destiny of all things, written in the most simple human language possible so that the most unlearned can understand and obey its teachings. IT IS self-interpreting and covers every subject of human knowledge and need now and forever"
We at the Roundtable in this episode would like to take you through a crash course of the Bible, whether Mr Dake and others like him say the truth and whether God really does speak through that old Book; do note a pen, notepad and some snacks are highly recommended for optimum listening experience❤️🔥💯😇

Jesus Amongst Other Gods: An Option or the Only Way??
Who is Jesus? Why is the instrument of His death glowing on steeples in neon? Who is He? Immortal, mere Nazarene or just another from a pantheon? For all ways seem diverse till the end it seems....
~ Anon.
Jesus is the topic of age-long debate concerning whether He is the Only Way or just another option from a Being hoping to make things a bit level. We attempt to answer our friend's anonymous poem and more in this session with the CC Roundtable helping bring into the exclusivity of His deity and His glory amongst others.
NB: Notebooks, a nice snack and your vibes are strongly recommended.

Sacrifices and offering He did not desire but coming in the fullness of all said concerning Him, He did the will of God. Ministry goes beyond the lights, the stage, the brand and the hype; this episode gets us to see and discuss more clearly how this thing called "ministry" fit in with Jesus' discipleship regimen. We also get to see the many faces of the Man Jesus and how it translated for our benefit today. Get a notebook, a writing tool and that snack cause this will be one interesting conversation with you and the Roundtable.

Taking up from where the previous episode left off, the discourse goes deeper yet higher with Jesus, the Perfect God of Man. Do note however that is just a gentle starter to a lifetime of wonder with Him as the Roundtable seeks to bring clarity to certain questions that pop up with regard to the Divinity and Deity of Jesus.

In this episode, the Roundtable with some extra faces talk in the light of spiritual maturity about the most famous Jew: Yeshua ben-Yosef or in our more contemporary tongue, Jesus, the son of Joseph from Nazareth. What made this Man more than what many wish to water Him down to be? What described Him as the Model Human? Sit down, take notebooks as advised and join the conversation talking about Jesus, the Man of God.

"Follow Me and I will make you fishers of men." Too convincing to be an attention-seeker, too expositionary to be a lunatic, we take a look, this season at the Man jesus and the focal point of His training regimen: the disciple. Back on the Roundtable, we have the faces old and new helping us dive deep into the art of making men through the Holy Spirit's school of discipleship.

After growing comes maturing. After knowing comes the showing. And the world can't wait as Romans 8 says it's groaning for the appearance of the family of God. Welcome to season 3! Here is a sneak peek discussion with Kwame and Nana Kwadwo taking us through what to expect and how to benefit from the new chapter on the Roundtable - know that, it is going to be one sweet ride after listening to this.

All too soon our season's journey comes to its end. But here stands another before we take a bow, this topic tends to raise the shudder for many and a few kind of tend to raise the brow. This one was the reason Hebrews 11:35-40 was written in ages past, the drive in the Church's present task and the end to reveal all that will stand and that which will bust. The Roundtable, together with our guests including one from The Timothy Project, concludes on the topic of "judgement" in the context of faith in Jesus the Christ.

As the former states in Latin, the trumpet shall sound and the dead shall be raised indeed, as 1 Cor. 15:52 states with pompous hope and poetic power. The resurrection of the dead is one of the polarising, if not controversial, tenets of the Christian faith but why is it so essential and more importantly, so tethered to the Person of the Lord Jesus? Why does the Bible say "if the resurrection of the dead is not then Christ didn't rise...and we are of all men the most wretched"? The Roundtable and guests continue the venture into Hebrews 6:1-3 on this topic of "The Resurrection of the Dead".
Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/calvarycentral/message
It is written (Rom 6:3 KJ2000) "Know you not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?" Thus baptism is beyond just getting wet in front of people in church. What makes baptism a core reality? Does it only entail getting wet or soaked? On this episode, we dunk ourselves deeper into Hebrews 6:2 talking about what the verse states as "the doctrine of baptisms".
Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/calvarycentral/message
"Impartations, Anointing, Oil, The Power of God, The Charismata" The former jargons seem to belong to only a class of people or believers so why is it in the Bible? As it is written "Therefore he says, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men." But the same Scripture then admonishes in 1 Cor. 14:12 "Even so you, since you are zealous of spiritual gifts, seek that you may excel to the edifying of the church." Gifts exist for efficiency and more; not for showmanship and ego. But why? How does the physicality of laying on of hands connect with spirituality? The Roundtable continues to journey into mystery with familiar faces and new ones alike as we lay hold of the agenda called "the Laying On of Hands"

One memory verse as old as time, our caption has been echoed from Sunday schools through to crusade grounds. But what is the big deal with faith and growth? What is faith really? What does it mean to us as believers of Jesus? Following up on where last week left off, we speak as a counterpart to repentance at the Calvary Central roundtable answering these questions and going in to that reality called faith.

Repentance - The Reign of God Is At Hand: These words from our caption mark the head of the Gospel script. John the Baptister said it, then the Man Himself and in tow, the apostles and their kind. But why is the topic of repentance a matter of concern with regard to growth in Christ? With our guest joining the podcast roundtable, we delve into the Bible's theme of repentance as a core to growth.

Season 1 closed with understanding that the end of salvation is to grant God a heritage of children in His image fully. Being born again is not a onetime experience but a door to an everyday reality of life in Jesus yet many people are comfortable with Jesus taking the wheel and they sleeping away. A new season brings new perspective with the Calvary Central roundtable plus guests to hammer on this: that the calling of every believer becoming the express image of Jesus the Christ through growth.

Welcome to salvation but please do not fall asleep. For God is just beginning with you as He is with us; for creation awaits your manifestation so deep. Jesus has your life but now, He calls you to take charge. Like a driver's instructor, He takes you behind the wheel hence enough dulling for His grace demands your zeal. "For you should already be professors instructing others by now; but instead, you need to be taught from the beginning the basics of God’s prophetic oracles! You’re like children still needing milk and not yet ready to digest solid food. For every spiritual infant who lives on milk is not yet pierced by the revelation of righteousness. But solid food is for the mature, whose spiritual senses perceive heavenly matters. And they have been adequately trained by what they’ve experienced to emerge with understanding of the difference between what is truly excellent and what is evil and harmful." (Heb 5:12-14 TPT) as it is truly written. It is time to grow with God; enough dulling, enough sitting! Returning for your spirit's pleasure is the Podcast Roundtable with a synopsis of what to expect. It is time to grow in God's image - let us get on ahead!

Episode 4: Blessed Assurance "This is my story; this is my song! Praising my Saviour, all the day long...." Not as usual sight at a crusade where there's a preacher, a crowd and some people who come forward to "give their lives to Jesus". But what's the big deal anyways?? We first began with the issue called sin all because of a fruit. A sneak peek back to God's drawing board got us to see Jesus as The Master Plan. But like the jailer in Acts 16:30, we, at Calvary Central also ask "What next; how can one be saved??" Join the team on this episode talking about the "How" with regard to salvation and what it implies for mankind

Episode 3: God's Master Plan
"No, you can't go to heaven without... S-A-L-V-A-T-I-O-N..." A bold tune or an open secret taught in Sunday School???
The world's in chaos yet a peculiar set of people rise out of the darkness. From a man out of Mesopotamia called Abraham to an ex-fugitive and shepherd called Moses, there is seen the orchestrations of a God personally involved with these people. Many years later, a Carpenter from a small town amongst these rises up with a bodacious claim: that He is God's Cure for the sick world we live in; the Master Plan for God's love revealed as a Man. Join us at Calvary Central for this episode as we talk about what is this thing called Salvation and why it needs a Man known as Jesus the Christ.

Episode 2- Why Salvation: Back To God's Drawing Board
Caption: In the corner, the challenger, the Dark Prince, the Accuser, the Evil One. In the other, the Champion of the Universe, the King of Kings, the Maker of All, The Father of Spirits. And in the middle, mankind.
This is the backdrop to which we find the necessity for meaning of life and being. But why salvation? What's truly the real matter here? In this episode, Kwame, Prosper and Ransford take off from where Episode 1 left off: a gentle attempt to peek at what must have been God's drawing board.
