Presented by Raleigh Cigarettes, it's the Red Skelton Show from January 15, 1946. After Red's opening monologue, Anita Ellis sings "Aren't You Glad You're You?" Red does a sketch set in a local department store, and later Clem Kadiddlehopper makes an appearance. Following a lovely musical interlude, Red does a routine as his most popular character, the Mean Widdle Kid.
Red had just returned to radio a month before this broadcast after having been discharged from the army with a nervous breakdown.
After a visit down Allen's Alley, Fred joins guest Beatrice Lillie in a wonderful spoof of "Oklahoma!" called "Piccadilly!"
In this episode of "The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet," presented by International Sterling Silver, Ozzie and Harriet try to have a romantic evening at home , as the boys, David and Ricky, spend the night at Thorny's log cabin....but once a storm starts brewing, Ozzie can't stop worring about the boys.
