For members of the LGBTQIA2S+ community, going home for the holidays can be a lot more complicated than trying to decide if one should check a bag or just take a carry on. Spending time with non-affirming family can be harmful in many ways. One of the most common complaints against Jesus was that he ate with sinners, outcasts, and women. Throughout all four gospels, Jesus can be found at tables with unexpected people doing unexpected things. All Places Together's summer podcast series: At the Table is going to dig into many of these stories.

However, we aren't always as good at recognizing the ability and giftedness of those experiencing hunger, poverty, or homelessness.
