It was Father’s Day on Sunday 20th June and we decided to have a special episode in honour of our amazing fathers.
On this episode we talk about how hard or easy it is/was to be a Christian: Before Christ (BC), After Christ’s Death (AD) and After After Christ’s Death (AAD, which basically means now). Do you think things are harder now than they were before?
Instructions are there to direct us. There is an instruction for most things in life but we fail to go through them, instead we try to wing it until we fail. Why is that?
Time is such a significant part of life. We either have to much or to little more at various stages in our life. As they say about time itself, it waits for no one.
Jesus tells us that the greatest commandment of all is love. However it seems we don’t spend enough time discussing and encouraging love as defined in the bible. Does love truly conquer all?
We all had and have an idea of what ‘That Dream Life’ is. From believing that ice cream for breakfast lunch and dinner was the best life anyone could live to thinking that becoming a millionaire was something that could be achieved in 5 months without a solid plan.
Forgiveness is one of the hardest things to do, that is why we call it an art.
We recently came to the realisation that the forgiveness process benefits the person forgiving more than it does the offender and that has changed how we see it.
A lot of us have a perfect picture of the end goal that we forget to think about the beginning.
When does keeping up end and why do people bother keeping up with others even when it doesn't make them happy?
Sometimes it's not the sin committed that causes the problem it is what we do next. What is your next step?
There are so many misconceptions around prayer and fasting; many rules, ideas and beliefs that people have and enforce. In this episode, we discuss our experiences and the lessons we have learnt over the years regarding these important religious activities.
Disclaimer!!!
Apologies for the long episode, there was a lot to unpack and we are very passionate about this topic 😅.
Have you ever wondered why you haven't heard that 'deep' God voice yet? We wondered as well till we realised that our perception of God's voice being a deep loud 'earthquake' tone, might be a myth!
In this episode we discuss previous episodes, touch on angles we might have missed and share insight we have acquired through feedback and experience.
We are on Episode 5 already and we have a new topic 😃! In this episode we discuss how loving family members seems like an obligation when compared to the love we show friends.
We have come to the final episode of The Stretch 😃. In this episode, we talk about the whole journey experienced throughout 'the stretch' or whilst waiting for something.
Hope you enjoyed this series and hope it has given a bit of comfort if you are going through a stretch.
After being stretched beyond what we think we can bear, we snap and reach a breaking point. How does your breaking point become a breakthrough?
In this episode we discuss the extension we face during our stretch (or wait) period, how hard it is to stay positive and what we can do to remain sane throughout.
The Stretch is a four part series where we discuss waiting and being stretched beyond your limit.
