The first ever UbiForward from Ubisoft was hosted over the weekend... Many games were showcased but nothing seemed to wow the gaming community. Where were all the surprises?
Gamescom 2020 will now take place digitally from August 27 to 30. The Gamescom 'content hub' Gamescom Now will be expanded, and will feature "world premieres, news, games and events", and will be free to watch, with no event ticket required. August 27 will see the return of Geoff Keighley's Opening Night Live showcase, and the rest of the show's run will include new presentations, including Gamescom: Awesome Indies (an indie-focused showcase), the Gamescom Daily Show (which will expand on announcements at the show), and Gamescom Studio (featuring developer interviews). August 30 will close with Gamescom: Best of Show, an awards show.

The Division 2 coming to next generation consoles has been a big request from the community and it seems the developers have other plans in mind. Here's my two cents on why the game not coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X is a good thing!
Ghost of Tsushima is Sony's last first party title coming to gamers on the PlayStation 4. The game will be out on July 17, 2020 and during the first State of Play keynote of the year Sony has given us 18 glorious minutes to see this masterpiece in action. This is a nice game to end this generation for PlayStation.

Today on Episode 3 of the GamrInsanity Show we take a preview of the next generation as Epic Games shows off Unreal Engine V running in real time on the PlayStation 5. This is the first time PS5 gameplay was showcased to the public. A Mafia Trilogy is going to be released soon and the Nvidia leaks for the 3000 series graphics cards keep on coming.

Sony made a few gaming announcements this week with the introduction of PlayStation Studios and the first State of Play keynote featuring Ghost of Tsushima. Activision is making the waves with the premiere of a brand new entry in the Tony Hawk Pro Skater series. If you want to call it a new game. It's a fulll remaster of the first 2 original games in one package.
