Gold fell below the first level of support at $1130 today as the US Dollar rallied on strong U.S. retail sales date
For a second Friday in a row - Gold has run into significant turbulance. We compare today's sharp pullback with the "Dubai air pocket" and look for support levels in the chart.
The gold price fell by $60 in overnight trading but recovered to close down only $15 today in post-Thanksgiving trading. For a while it really looked like it would have been a "Black Friday" for the TSX but it actually closed up 27 points on the day.
The title of last week's podcast looked pretty silly after gold bolted on Monday and finished the week at a fresh record nominal highs again.
